I started to look gor a video that showed when to remove the template. No one (but you) showed the backside in detail and or when to take out the template. THANK YOU for always being thorough!!!
oh my goodness! you are so talented .... I love how you explain how to use english paper and the other video on how to sew grandma flower....I haven't been sewing any quilts in a while . life of working takes the energy out of doing sewing..... on weekends when I'm off I will spend an hr or 2..... thanks again laura...your wonderful.
What a great idea! Better than gluing down the fabric with a glue stick! I'm going to use this for little hexagon's too! I always enjoy your tutorial and tips! Thank you!
very nice, thanks for sharing this with the rest of us. Since im new at this sort of sewing I would really appreciate if u could do show how to sew them together .
Apparently, they don’t make this product anymore, but it can be found online for a price! It is easier to send your card stock through the printer and then iron on the applistick and cut out your hexies. I used eq 7 to print out the size I wanted, so no tracing.
I am not a fan of english paper piecing at all, but with this method I just might someday try and just make a couple placemats. Thanks for the tutorial.
You don’t have to trim with regular papers either. You use squares and a glue stick. And buy precut papers so not sure how ironing down webbing and hand cutting papers is any faster. You just traded one task for another?
+SewVeryEasy thank you. I'm taking a class about this in April. She's teaching with 1" hexagons. Scary! But this will make it so easy. I think I'll share.
hola que fantastico tu video!!!! gracias por compartir ,!!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻otra cosa es posible que me digas donde conseguiste tus pulseras .?? me gustaron mucho !!!!
+Rose Johnson I just held the pieces together and did a small whip stitch, stitching the pieces together. Just catch a a few threads from each piece, you don not go into the paper at all...hope this helps:)
I couldn't find this Appli-Stick any place online. The link provided didn't lead me to it. Where might I find it? I just purchased all the materials to do English Paper Piecing, I'd love to give this a try. HELP!!! Thank you for a great tutorial, I'm excited to give EPP a try! 😃
Hi, Laura! I'm adding subtitles to your video. At about 3:08, are you saying, "And don't go very, very tight here or you won't be able to get your needle in there"?
Yes! So it's you that have been adding the subtitles:) Thank you very much, I really do appreciate it. I can talk a lot ( or that is what my family tells me lol) but not so great at the typing part. lol Thanks again I have many viewers that are very happy you subtitle them.
Laura..my mom is Donna Miles my dad is Jerry...you were at our house when i was a girl. Your husband was short i think his name is Rob..i was at your house too.
+Lo Little This is sewn together just by hand...no machine needed. Just hold the pieces together and do a small whip stitch catching both sides, you do not catch the paper at all. thanks for asking:)
I have learned so much from your videos - thank you!! I love how you talk so slowly and clearly, making sure everything is clear as you go.

Please explain how you sew into the edge and connect with the next piece. Do you sew into the sticky form? if not, how do you avoid it.
