The over-editing was hilarious! Thank you for the quick rundown. Was talking to someone and I needed to know what this was in the middle of a conversation.
If I had a Steam account for my tabletop games, this one would be the mmo rpg or Rocket League where others I have like 10-20, a few just over a hundred, and then Sentinels at the top with like 5k. If you're on the fence about it...just don't be. You will enjoy it, and there is sooooo much content for it now(tons of expansions, every single one of them just as good and unique as the last) and the replayability in even the first box is huge.
Agreed, I wanna see Wil's impressions of the various heroes. And his impressions of a salt mine when he can't draw a single Isothermic Transducer or Onboard Module Installation
I own the base game and almost all of the expansions. Only missing Villains of the Multiverse. This is by far my favorite tabletop game, super easy to pick up with stupid amounts of replay-ability means that you can almost always find someone to play with.
I dunno, I haven't felt that way. Guess I ought to use her more, see if I can find the cracks. I mean, as far as I can tell, she's a damage-dealer who needs teammates on support to truly shine. I like being the one doing the punching.
For anyone who may stumble across this, the game is being revitalized in the form of a board game, by Arcane Wonders and published by the originators of the game... and it looks absolutely amazing! Here’s the link to the Kickstarter: www.kickstarter.com/projects/arcanewonders/freedom-five-a-sentinels-comics-board-game/?ref=kicktraq
1:16 Wait, wha? I just got this game and organized it, but I see nothing about different characters with the same name using the same deck. Could you please elaborate on this?
We'll see if this gets and answer but, whenever sometimes villains play cards that let them summon another card at the end of their turn. Then said summoned card also has an action to be played at the end of the villain turn. Does the newly summoned card still perform its end of turn action or does it wait till the villains next turn to do so. I ask this specifically for The Chairman fight.
Great game! By FAR the most evocative of the comic book themed games. The others all have their place, but if you want to feel like you're inside a comic while sitting around a board game table, this is your options.
Wait so does a player playing the part of the villain basically rely solely on top-decking? I'm confused on how this works, it looks interesting though.
Quite a fun game, and the final set is coming out possibly in a half year or so from the kickstarter, OblivAeon. There's also people that can and have made their own villain/hero/locations on websites as well to expand the Multiverse. As for me... my possible favorite characters is the bad luck magnet, Setback, or... well.. lets um.. say I know some Guise.
Take it from someone who's a tad bit slower than others to learn new board game mechanics. Game was easy to learn, has at least one character you can look at and compare to your favorite comic book heros, and replay value is huge. 10/10 for a non-deckbuilding, co-op card game.
To me, Ivan Van Norman is in the same category as Luke Wilson. You know you are supposed to like him, and identify with him. But something about him is.... punchable.
It went to a subscription based model after the first couple of episodes. The rest of the season will get aired on RUclips some time in spring I believe.
Well they didn't "make" that money, like it wasn't profit. They used it to make the show. Season 4 didn't have a kickstarter so they had to fund it another way.
The episodes are currently on Alpha, don't know when they'll make the jump to -hyperspace- RUclips, but I believe we were promised they'd arrive sometime this month. (I'd give it a week or two before breaking out the torches and pitchforks)
How to play- use the app. no question. Too much record keeping in the actual game. there can be TONS of effects that need to be remembered at any given point of a turn that the app takes care of.
I love Sentinels of the Multiverse, but I cannot for the life of me find the damn expansion sets online for less than 100$, it's crazy that they just don't keep them in stock.
I know its on Steam, but I really want a physical version of the Rook City/ Infernal Relics expansion. Much easier to play with friends when I can just bring it over.
William Ford it's not quite as good as physical, but if you have an iPad you can download the app and use it like a game board. The app isn't perfect, but is pretty good.
I'm not really into deck builders or superheroes. But this is my favourite co-op game! It's fun, simple to understand and it puts up a fight without being ridiculous. Best of all: It requires actual strategy and coöperation that you can plan ahead!
The game looks decent... the Commentator, however, was do damned annoying that i will never watch another vid with him again. Just explain the game, stop trying to be funny or interesting, you are neither.
Christ knock off the over editing it looks awful and is completely unnecessary, editing should be used to enhance the video not look like someone's kid got into the editing machibe
Gredo did hit first. He was one of Jabba's minions. Jabba's played him in turn one. Han had a "shoot first" card that let him bypass Gredo's defenses and his base attack was enough damage to take Gredo down. That's why Jabba needed Boba Fett.

Editor had way too much fun while editing this one
Love me some Sentinels, I've got basically every card you can get for this game and am eagerly awaiting the Oblivaeon final expansion!
Wow, this was such a fantastic video! Great presentation and hilarious editing! Well done! 🤣
Can we get a Table Top episode for this game?
THIS. I want to see this so much.
Agreed, I wanna see Wil's impressions of the various heroes. And his impressions of a salt mine when he can't draw a single Isothermic Transducer or Onboard Module Installation
I love this game! I'm so glad it's getting this kind of exposure.
I love this game and the back of the Rules book has a gameplay flow chart that really helps when I'm teaching new players
I own the base game and almost all of the expansions. Only missing Villains of the Multiverse. This is by far my favorite tabletop game, super easy to pick up with stupid amounts of replay-ability means that you can almost always find someone to play with.
Don't forget the fan content. www.drivethrucards.com/product/175857/The-Cauldron--base-set-BUNDLE?src=also_purchased
Have it, and love it!
This game is rad! Also Fanatic is my favorite, happy to see her in the demo!
I hate her so much. A lot of her cards are too situational.
I dunno, I haven't felt that way. Guess I ought to use her more, see if I can find the cracks.
I mean, as far as I can tell, she's a damage-dealer who needs teammates on support to truly shine. I like being the one doing the punching.
deadlinedance Tachyon is always my go to character

Allan Kennedy he means variants you can get them they have the same Deack but a different power and hp count
Allan Kennedy look for the 5th Anniversary Foil Hero Collection ;-)
Easily my favorite board game.
Love this game.
we just played this last night. Really great game. I need to get the rest of the expansions....

I have all of the expansions and on my phone. Season 2 just launched too!

Sentinels!!! Love this game
Holy crap, I tried it out for the first time EXACTLY on the day this video game out! It's not even a new release. What a coincidence!
Wait so does a player playing the part of the villain basically rely solely on top-decking? I'm confused on how this works, it looks interesting though.
Yes. The villain deck is meant to be run AI, not strategically by an opposing player.
Sentinels is one of my favorite games.
Did you ever work in radio. Being a d.j.for as long as I have, I can hear a good radio voice, and you have one.

PyrenKir Well played good sir.
this looks really promising!
is it available in other languages too?

This game is also available in Android, iPhone, and Steam.
I have it on my Nexus 5x phone actually. Season 2 just launched.
SENTINELS!
This needs to be on Tabletop!
Forgot to bring out the mobile defence platform for Baron Blade at the start :P
To me, Ivan Van Norman is in the same category as Luke Wilson. You know you are supposed to like him, and identify with him. But something about him is.... punchable.
I got it physically, but realized I had no one to play it with... Then I got the video game, good idea.
wonder what happened with TableTop
It went to a subscription based model after the first couple of episodes. The rest of the season will get aired on RUclips some time in spring I believe.
well that's crappy
Subscription based? Even after they made almost $1.5million on Kickstarter for Season 3? Greeeeeeedy!!!
Well they didn't "make" that money, like it wasn't profit. They used it to make the show. Season 4 didn't have a kickstarter so they had to fund it another way.
Wow I've never been this early before.
Any one know when TableTop will be back?
The episodes are currently on Alpha, don't know when they'll make the jump to -hyperspace- RUclips, but I believe we were promised they'd arrive sometime this month. (I'd give it a week or two before breaking out the torches and pitchforks)
If you play against the "villain" Dreamer, do not reduce her HP to zero.
yo where my table top episode at
Tempest is op...
Not when you’re only fighting one bad guy. Then he pings for nothing.
you missed a couple of rules i own this game.

I feel a little dizzy, after switching the camera angles that often! Sometimes less is more, don't you think ? ;-)
I watch a lot of these and have little to zero thoughts about actually playing it...
I'm not really into deck builders or superheroes. But this is my favourite co-op game! It's fun, simple to understand and it puts up a fight without being ridiculous. Best of all: It requires actual strategy and coöperation that you can plan ahead!
How to play SotM: Do lots of word problems and alpha game.
the editor was super spazzy on this one. lol
Villains always throw the first punch, eh? I wonder how Han Solo feels about that.
Uhhh... technically, Han isn't exactly a "good" guy. He was a smuggler. Yeah, they made him out to be a decent guy, but he was still a criminal.
I agree with what you've stated, but villain and criminal are not synonymous.
No, but a criminal can be a villain when they want to. That means they can do things the hero cant. Like shoot first ;p
Gredo did hit first. He was one of Jabba's minions. Jabba's played him in turn one. Han had a "shoot first" card that let him bypass Gredo's defenses and his base attack was enough damage to take Gredo down. That's why Jabba needed Boba Fett.
..... well played good sir. well played.
I guess that G&S have given up on scripted shows.
Camera movements in this are really annoying. :(
The editing makes this really cringe
This is really hard to watch. Was interested in the game, but lost it while watching this
Jesus Christ the camera editing is annoying. I can't watch this. Oh the hair too.
I speed up almost all of your videos by 1.5 speed xD. You're super entertaining, but I feel like you talk so slow lol. Take care.
A "How To Play" for a game that's been out for over 5 years....
Great game, terrible rule book lol
