That's right, we're here for the numbers... and not for the copyright strike to have the video taken down (take it you don't upload much yourself). You can always watch the full episode on Channel 4 though... www.channel4.com/programmes/countdown/on-demand/75051-191
@@bjoern.gumboldt Nah, if I wanted to watch Christmas music I would search for that or be over on C4 for the letters part of Countdown. But yeah, I guess it’s one of those licensed songs that youtube gets touchy about.
First time I've got them all with different methods to the two guys For 169 I did (75+8)x2=166, then added 4 and took off the 1 436 was easier than that, just (100+10)x4=440, and take off the other 4 602 I did (100+50)x4 then added the 2 802 I did basically the same way, just did 4x10=40, then 40x10=400
1) 75+8=83*2=166+4-1=169 2) 100+10=110*4=440-4=436 3) 100*(4+2)=600+(50/25)=602 (😮 I never get the ones with 4 large numbers!) 4) I got 801 100*4*2=800+1=801

wiki.apterous.org/Terence_Newnham
I did them all the same way except 802. I did:
10 + 6 = 16
4 + 1 = 5
16 x 5 = 80
80 x 10 - 800
800 + 2 = 802.
Probably the first time I did all the numbers the same way as they did!
I like how it cuts off when they were about to start: "Singing?! That’s not what we are here for!".

Absolutely perfect. "Ding-"
My reaction to all Christmas music played this early.
This is the first time I actually got the conundrum just in the nick of time when no one else could
For 169:
(75 + 8) × 2 = 166
166 + (4 - 1) = *_169_*
For 436:
(100 + 10) × 4 = 440
440 - 4 = *_436_*
For 602:
Same method as Rob and Terence.
802
10*10=100
100+1=101
2*4=8
101*8=808
808-6=802
I love Biggins!
First time I've got them all with different methods to the two guys
For 169 I did (75+8)x2=166, then added 4 and took off the 1
436 was easier than that, just (100+10)x4=440, and take off the other 4
602 I did (100+50)x4 then added the 2
802 I did basically the same way, just did 4x10=40, then 40x10=400
602:
4+2=6
100*6=600
50/25=2
600+2=602
100+50=150
150*4=600
600+2=602
100*25/4=625
625+50+2-75=602
436:
100+10=110
110*4=440
440-4=436
100+10-1=109
109*4=436
10+1=11
11*4=44
44+4=48
48*7=336
336+100=436
1) 75+8=83*2=166+4-1=169
2) 100+10=110*4=440-4=436
3) 100*(4+2)=600+(50/25)=602
(😮 I never get the ones with 4 large numbers!)
4) I got 801
100*4*2=800+1=801
I got 602 by (100+50)×4+2
169 I got the same way they did, 436 I got by 100×4+(10-1)×4
75 × 2 + 7 + 8 + 4 = 0 (easy one to start)
(100 + 10) × 4 - 4 = 0 (still good)
100 × (2 + 4) + 50 ÷ 25 = 0 (lovely one)
(4 × 10 × 10 + 1) × 2 = 0 (not too bad, huh)
169:
75×2=150
7×4=28
28-8-1=19
150+19=169
I did 802 more convolutedly
10 x 10 = 100
100 + 1 = 101
101 x 2 x 4 = 808
808 - 6 = 802
436 small only
(7+4)*10 = 110
(100-1)*4 = 436
7 + 4 + 1 = 12
12 x 8 = 96
96 - 2 = 94
(94 + 75 = 169)
169=(75+8)x2+(7-4)
436=100x4+((10-1)x4)
802:
10*10*4=400
400+1=401
401*2=802
10*10=100
100+1=101
101*4*2=808
808-6=802
10+6=16
4+1=5
16*10*5=800
800+2=802
602=(4+2)×100+50/25=2×4×75+50/25
169 = (8 + 4) x 7 x 2 + 1
436=4×(100+10-1)=4×100+4×(10-1)
169=2×(75+8)+7-4
802=2×(4×10×10+1)
(100 + 1 + 7) * 4 + 4
