I’m no fan of the SNP but you can’t not admire this woman. She’s intelligent, courageous and above all has integrity and compassion. Her parents must be extremely proud.
One of the finest MPs in my lifetime & Im 60 ! When people like this are being driven from our parliament because of the culture then that should be a signal to everyone who values decency, honesty & integrity that we must never ever again have an old Etonian anywhere near ANY seat of power in this land !

Call me late to the party if you like (I'm Gen-X, we're used to being forgotten), but in my opinion the best C-word used to describe Mhairi Black is "Champion", and I'll be more than happy to share a drink or two with her as we solve the world's problems over our favourite brands of poison (I won't lie about my chances of survival, I'm just an Aussie while she's a full-blown Scot without brakes).

What sort of image does this reflect about the public perception and the house of parliamentary debate. Can you imagine what the press would say if the leader of the opposition spoke like that. Or the Prime Minister spoke like this. The press would have a field day. Some people already have a low opinion of Westminster as it is. I saw this in my own family, my family is spread across the nation as a child of cheshire and merseyside the F-word was a strong agressive swore word. But visiting my family in Kent the Worked Fuck and Fucken was used in everyday conversation, my grandmother explained that aunties community did not see it as a bad word but in our world our community we do not use it as it not acceptable. This is a woman that wants to work for The Government bot does not want to accept the Government is responsible to ALL the people of the UK and is supported by the monarchy. This is a woman who goes to work in parliment dressed as shabbily as she can despite being paid a hansome salary and expenses whereas normal people woul not be tolerated to go to an office or shop dressed as Shabby as her.
