Don't try and quote something as scientific fact when you can't comprehend basic population mathematics. And the British royal family? The dutch royal family (and pretty much all other royals) are just as inbred. Go look at just how related your royals are to ours. Moron.

He votes on the behalf of other Pennsylvanians (my State) where Pennsylvanian laws hold sway, where we have control over our local affairs rather than the bureaucratic nightmare that is Brussels. I won't say that American democracy is perfect because it isn't, but at the very least I know that I can at least vote out people who have no reason to be there in the first place. I know that chances are that you probably don't.

      @@richteezer1 Worked with a few while in the army. One was a rupert but the others were great guys.. It was a Guards regiment so most of them were from Eton and they were switched on, friendly as well as professional.
      One of them let us use his house and grounds to shoot clay pigeons and get drunk.

      I am with you. these politicians are both great orators and personalities. men of conviction. I used to be a labour voter, but those days are behind me now.     Not a Conservative myself, more a pure liberal (libertarian to those over the pond) but I will vote for them for the 1st time (aged 36) to help Brexit if needed and to stop Corbyn because at least Boris, JRM, Javid are likeable, optimistic and determined to try and fix the mess previous PMs have left us in. They seem to at least believe in this country and, whilst I'm no flag-waving Royalist or anything like that, I am sick to death of all the negativity and self-loathing which has infected so many.

    Boris and The Mogg tend to use the fabulous English language to its fullest extent. So can someone please supply each member of the Labour Party with a set of Oxford English dictionaries. It would be such a shame if they didn’t understand fully the extent to which they are being insulted and made fun of by the other side.

      I don't really think that he is particularly posh though. Like the dude literally campaigns on his own, regularly meets his constituents. Rides trains. Spends all the time working or hanging out with his kids.
      I mean being posh kinda implies expensive dinners, luxury cars, Armani suits, vacation on Bali, etc. While that dude is basically a well-educated working class person in terms of his ethics. He literally works and hangs out with his family and nothing else. That's super attracting.

People can come from varying backgrounds, some modest & come to acquire considerable wealth. He speaks with magnificent skill and elegance of phrase, and is the gracious assassin, eviscerating people who try to challenge or insult him in such polite fashion as to make it seem he’s not speaking badly of them at all. He’ll very likely be PM one day in the near future.

      As intelligent as he is, and as humorous as he can be, Rees-Mogg would be the completely wrong choice of PM in modern-day Britain, in my opinion. Johnson didn't represent the vast majority of [young] British people, Rees-Mogg would be even worse, in that respect.
      I've voted Conservative before in my life, but I don't vote for them anymore. The Conservatives - and other centre-right or right-wing parties in Europe - are too caught up in paranoia and a "let's-play-it-safe" mentality for my personal liking.

    And to think Surrey Heath Conservatives selected Michael Gove to be their MP instead of JRM. I was there at the vote and had to entertain both of them whilst the Members voted.
