We then transitioned into “old English” Anglo-Saxon (Vikings) then we transitioned Into “Middle English” which is much closer to the more modern tone you hear nowadays, a lot of french words entered our language in this period because of the Norman conquest of England in 1066. I say all of this because I want to state that just because we may all sound different that doesn’t mean we are better than one another, it is our history that decides how we speak.

Ohh, you missed a great scene with those two when Jeremy Corbyn accused the right honourable member for Northeast Somerset for removing a hedge fund in Ireland due to his alleged uncertainty about Brexit. Mr. Rees-Mogg rightfully said that his company doesn't run any hedge fund and accused the Leader of the Opposition of being a peddler of false news and possibly, guilty of "terminological inexactitude". Bercow was ecstatic about the phrase and praised Rees-Mogg for using it due to its historical significance (it was firstly said by Winston Churchill in 1906). It was a very funny moment due to Bercow's enthusiastic reaction with his characteristic voice. A pitty that the particular incident was not included...A great video though...

JRM is a superior orator to the speaker in my view. The speaker is constantly pausing to search for the right words and often doesn't come up with the best one availiable. He also strains every word as if he's trying to constrain some sort of volcanic internal rage. JRM on the other hand looks to be relaxed and is able to select the better fitting word. The bit where he politely tells off Corbyn for misleading the house is a prime example, JRM's timing in that clip was worthy of a comedian.
I have a feeling that once Brexit occurs and a GE happens, providing the Tories are in the majority and Bercow steps down, JRM will be a perfect fit as the new speaker.
