And then you'll get to spend much more time at home....as you will lose your job, because we can no longer compete. Also remind your family and yourself never to get ill, as the NHS will no longer be there.....and the up scaling of the price of medications, from the deal with Trump....will at least bring down the population of the UK. I've just watched this again, over a year since it was posted. I am so glad we are out. I had forgotten how angry Verhofstadt and the other EU creeps made me. Good riddance to them. The EU will collapse within a few years, taking a whole lot of evil with it. I hope the countries of Europe will each start protecting their own borders and become the wonderful, unique, special countries they once were. I was ecstatic when we won the vote to leave the EU. It's taken a long time to enact, but it's done. Hurray.

Unfortunately, the British government has betrayed its people. David Cameron never expected to lose the Brexit referendum. He offered it because UKIP was doing so well. It won in the European election, if you remember. Cameron was afraid that UKIP would take votes from the Conservatives in a general election. When he lost the referendum, there was no desire on his part, or on the part of any PM since, to carry out the will of the British people.
We still live under laws that were created by the EU. Northern Ireland has been effectively given away to the EU. There have been traitors in government and opposition parties who have been working the whole time since we left to get us to rejoin. The only way to do that is to make conditions so bad here that the people would want to rejoin.
If we had split quickly and cleanly, and if we had been lucky enough to have had an honest government that carried out the will of the people, the UK could have been surging ahead in every area of life. Sadly, we have been stabbed in the back by traitors.

He'll do this for a few minutes, typically, and then head to the bar. MEPs have videoed him doing this. He's not interested in debate. It's all PR so he can fool gullible Brits into thinking that he's there "fighting our corner" whilst he rakes in millions. He's £800k richer in one side hustle alone since 2016.

I am half Irish my mothers side she was a full blown Dubliner couldn't tell you how many times I have been to Dublin. I feel English from living here. Nigel knows how to press their buttons. It is amusing but thats about it. I have heard all the top Eurocrats say just as bad and sometimes worse. So in my eyes the top people are all the same and just as bad or good. If any of them had been an MP and they had acted up they would have been stopped and if necessary removed by the Speaker just as a SNP member was removed last week before christmas for not behaving - they are always asked to apologise and retake their seats so if they do not then they get to have the day off.
Most speakers in the Uk parliament are groomed for the position first years as deputy speaker and then the speaker proper so holders of the position are not biased. Unfortunately speakers can be voted into the position as what we had with Mr Bercow, as a result we had accusations of biased and bullying lower ranked individuals in parliament.
Re: i am not irish, true but i do not think ireland has the monopoly on politeness and having attended a RC school with whole classes of irish individuals i know they do not. Its all upto the individual - same as on here, people will judge you on what you say and do and will treat you accordingly.

This is what so many people, particularly the young do not understand. I was not born then but know that our grandparents would never have signed up for a political union, they still had memories of WW2, strong feelings and did not just have a weak argument based on cheap travel which is all I hear from remainers.

I heard too many idiots complaining that their roaming charges might increase which is not a good reason when you can get cheap international sims. We lost EHIC but I do not care as people should have insurance.
My Russian friend has a visa for the whole of the Eu which I would be happy to have if it came to it, as my trips are still cheaper than staying here.

The underlying point of the sort of argument voters of Brexit don't know what they are voting for is not a question of the individual but rather an issue of the collective consensus of Brexit. I've heard of some leftist voting leave for the off chance we can join with Russia to rise up in a socialist movement - Lexit they call it. I'm sure you wouldn't want to be associated or lumped in with that lot and if over 1.9% of those wanting to leave would prefer to remain in the E.U. than compromise with the specific route we take - wether remaining in the EEA or any other position then there was not a majority for Brexit so we should and must stay in the E.U. - to be decided by a second referendum.
