either i'm just crazy, or these sabers have a unique soundfont. I have the Zeffo XenoV3 and, instead of the soundfont "Double Agent" i have one called "The Butcher"
It depends when the board and SD card where sent out to be honest. Lgt like to change and tweek things as they go. So yours could have been 1 from a run of 1000 boards. Then they make some adjustments and do the next run of a 1000 boards and keep going like that until there finally happy then just do runs off 100,000 at a time. If that makes sense

Whenever I see the rainbow one in tutorials (always has a different name), it irks me that the scrolling effect goes towards the hilt. It would make more sense for it to be moving away from the emitter.

I have a Darth Maul saber and I seem to have changed the Assassin Font and want it to be the default config but can't use my PC atm so is there a way to reset it using the app? What ignition, and style is the default original?
Apparently one of the new Xeno3 features is that you can switch between Neopixel and RGB mode by holding down the button for 13 seconds while the blade is off. What I don't know is if this means the core itself has a fancy enough LED thing that it can function both ways, or if I would have to buy an attachment that screws on or something. I did see a product like that while scouring the internet for this very topic 😅
Yeah your right it can do. But honestly I don't understand why? The pogo pins have got RGB LEDs in them but there tiny and don't give off much light so as an RGB option with blade it would hardly light up? But you can get neopixel to RGB converters so why change it on the board when you can just put one of those in?
@@ForceSabersUK oh that's the thing I saw earlier! I did ask another channel and he said there's an adapter you can buy- almost the same thing? It would still involve the button switch so it's not quite worth buying. And I guess since the core sits down pretty deep in most hilts there's no way for the converter to get in the way of screw slots or something.
@@jakefoxx7978 yeah the converter siting ontop of the pogo pins then the blade sits on top so no way the locking screw would be any where near it. The converter is only about 15/20mm thick
hi mate i was wondering if youve come across any bugs in regards to adding, i just recently changed my v2 to this v3 from padawan outpost (and im just awaiting a reply from them) but im just wondering why adding fonts is so buggy like it will either fuck my saber up and make it not turn on or the fonts will work for abit then just vanish from the font selection and they even vanish in the app (Bluetooth font selection) but they appear to still be on the SD in there numbered folders just not in the code of the config it seems to just wipe it?, its so bizarre its making me just wanna send it back yanno, didn't have no where near this trouble with the v2 just simple drag and drop and done and this is just extremely tedious or broken rn and ive tried so many different ways to do it but always end up at the same point and im now just stuck with default fonts if I want the saber to work with the new core, any ideas?
Hi buddy sorry I never got back to you never knew people had posted comments on the video until now. So I have seen when adding my own fonts on occasion the board will have a moment where it can't find the font but then find them just after a error code. It is all brand new along with the app so I'm sure it's something that will be addressed and made stable in the future so I'd just hang in there for now. When adding fonts there should be no need to go into the config. To be honest the app does everything now so the config isn't even really needed.
Personally I'd wipe the full SD card reinstall all the original folders and files on the SD card. Test the saber to make sure it's back to factory default then go to folder 1 on the SD card, open it delete all content then copy and paste all data for the new font direct into folder one then give it a go and it should work and be stable. I've just uploaded a video on the xeno v3 today where I go over the options and fonts etc
So I can't upload sound like Hello there, General Kenobi - this is only reserved on Proffie or is there a way to upload it on this SD card ?
So you would have to go the folder holding all the sounds fonts for the one you want to change. Then once there find the MP3 file for when it turns on and swap it out for the new MP3 file. Or alternatively do the same thing but to the power on MP3 file but it would then do play the new MP3 file everytime you turn on the saber from deep sleep. Depends where your wanting the MP3 file to play. Before you do anything back up the whole micro SD and then sort of just have a play with 1 folder. It's not hard really
I don't know if it's just V3 because i never had V2 but motion controls on my saber are messy, not working as i have seen on others. Also idk if it is intended but all settings i have put on app will reset every time i turn off the saber or disconnect it from app
Ok so this is a tricky one. It could be a setting that needs adjusting in the app for the motion controls. The app shouldn't "as far as I know" reset everytime. But the main thing is to keep in mind the V3 is brand new and also the app is brand new so it might be a fix to come down the road.
I have an odd issue with mine, basically when charging the light comes on and i am unable to change this, is there something i can do to fix it?
To be honest it sounds like the wrong charger could have been used or the battery has died. But either case I'd have the place you purchased it check it out. It could even be the board itself. It's more a situation of inspecting all the electronics part by part until you find the fault sadly.

Do all xenopixel blades have xeno 3 now? I was going to buy a saber from sabertheory but I’m not sure if they have xeno 3 on their blades
Sorry buddy but I'm not sure. It's been out long enough for me to expect that they'd be a xeno V3 as standard but it's always best to double check on the specs if you can. If not I'd definitely reach out and try and contact them for clarification. When it comes to sabers it's always best to never assume anything.

Thinking about getting one of these, how is the brightness on this and the smoothswing?
The brightness is great. Much better than base lit sabers. And smooth swing is really good it has normal smooth swing and soft smooth swing so does it if you move really slowly

with xeno pixel v3 you can still create and add custom sound fonts like the v2 right?
Also, does the v3 play music like the v2?

Yes you can change the colours and keep the ignition. I do believe it has preinstalled music also but I'm not sure how to make it play that. Jim at fulcrum and the force seems to know how to do it.
Please can anyone help my first saber want to add new sound fonts have usb that came with saber do I need a PC or laptop to add fonts or is it possible to do with phone or tablet.
If you check my channel I brought out a full demo video on how to sort out sound etc. But you can only currently do it on a pc, I think also Mac but not 100% sure on mac
Hi, with regards to people inadvertently wiping their SD card and sending the sound fonts issue. If you uploaded the sound fonts to your Google Drive customers could access these without the need for multiple emails. Regards Les.
Hmmm interesting I'll look into that. I've tried a few things but my website builder is a bit of a pain when it comes to setting it for download. But great idea thank you

I was going to say exactly this. Much easier way of allowing people to download them. You just send them the link to whichever online hosting service you use (even if it's a throwaway Google Drive not tied to your website builder).
How long does it takes for this to bw fully charged. PS i have the Saber version with only 16 fonts since that was cheaper than the 32 fonts one
My sabers take about 5 to 6 hours for a full charge. I can't advise for other makes or sellers sadly.

Do you know how to change the way the blade emits light? I was able to get everything else
For my models it's around 5 hours charge. I guess most others will be around the same. But u can just leave them on charge and they'll automatically stop when complete
The directions say to change sound fonts point down and twist. But I haven’t been able to get it to work. Does this come with any or is it just dumb Chinese directions ?
I have loads of trouble getting it to work as well. But you point it down at about 45 degrees and do a 180 twist sort of action and it should work. Jim at fulcrum and the force does it really well on his review videos so that could help

How long does a Neopixel saber typically last on a full charge?
It all depends really. if you have a say a 3300Mah battery then you could be looking at 3 - 4 hours. for a 2200Mah battery maybe 2 - 3 hours. But you could help how much power you use buy what you have running. so if you turn off the sound you'll use less power and it'll then last longer. If you don't you fancy blade effects like rainbow blade then this would also increase the battery life. Just as a FYI if you have the blade colour set to just 1 colour then you will use more power for a white blade (as it uses all the leds to create white) then a solid blue blade will draw the most power followed closely by green. a full red blade draws the least amount of power. so if you have a solid red blade and no sound you will be able to use the saber for longer than any other setting. Also a shorter blade will draw less power as there will be fewer leds to run. hope this helps

Is it normal that the volume gets back to 100% when turning on the saber even if I set it to 20% one the app?
From my experience I've not noticed it going back up to 100% when turning back on but to be fair after testing the saber etc I haven't then gone back to it much at a later date. There constant updates and bug fixes happening constantly so it might be corrected in a later update.sorry if isn't the help you where hoping for but the xeno v3 is literally brand new and a few months old so it's a learning process at the moment.

I am new to light sabers so I didn't Know Xeno V3 to be new.

there's more their own fonts but there are 33. i don't think it has that one though. But it might have changed since i last used it
i have a xenopixel v2 and it has that same xeno app and same fonts whats the difference between xenopixel v2 and xeno 3?
There's not a huge difference at the moment to my knowledge the V2 doesn't work with the app as there's no Bluetooth on it. If it works with the app then only V3 has that ability. Hope that helps

I have a Xeno lightsaber - and it's not charging with the USB cable provided. I checked Amazon and saw different chargers. Does anyone use a charger instead of the USB? If so, which one do you use?
So this is a tricky area buddy. For my model sabers you MUST ONLY USE. A 5v 1A charger. I would guess this is the same for all other sabers but I strongly suggest you check with the manufacturer before doing anything. I have spoken with LGT and they confirmed to only use a 5v 1a charger any thing high than this will blow the board. What ever you do and this goes for everyone reading this. Under no circumstances should you use any mobile phone charger!!!! Ensure its always 5v 1a or double check with the seller.

You would think they would make it draw only what it needs like most electronics these days. Then you can use any 5V adapter. Confusing is the direction say 5V 1a or any 5V adapter, so…….
The people I got the saber from sent me a new core. I then went to Amazon and found the TENERGY Charger. Now I take the battery out of the core then charge it that way when needed. Seems to work fine now.

my xenopixel v3 baselit has choppy sound fonts when turning them on after choosing them from the xeno configuration app
That seems a bit odd? Personally I'd wipe the SD card and do a full reinstall of everything back on to the SD card. If that doesn't work I'd do the same but swap for a new SD card see how that goes.

i formatted both of the sd cards which did not fix the problem
Hi can you make that voice silent
You can mute the saber of if you specifically want the voice aspect to go then if you deleted the MP3 file for the relevant sound that should have the result your wanting. Hope this helps

You can't turn the voice off. But if you really didn't want the voice aspect you could remove the MP3 file. That then would have the same effect but just remember to save everything first
You shouldnt be asking your subscribers to fill out a contract. That immediately flags you as a big fat scammer in my mind
