Wish my son had seen this before buying his saber - the Proffie he got Sucks, and nothing promised is even preprogrammed. We definitely don't have the time to waste with all the nonsense customizing...gonna trade it for a Xenopixel for sure. 😅

Proffie just sounds like a lotta tedious work for too little fun, while Xenopixel is a good compromise between casual fun and very good quality for the price!
Lots of options with Proffie but a lot of the tedious work you are talking about is not necessary, it's just has extra features if you want to add to stuff! Not much is required to operate regularly and to have fun with.
@@ddm62571 alright, but then why pay the extra cash for niche options that you're not going to put to good use yourself? That's just shoving money down the drain. If you're going to buy a Proffie, you might as well use it to its fullest, instead of treating it like your regular xenopixel, otherwise you're only objectively wasting your money.
I saw Star Wars in the movie theater when it came out over 40 years ago. My parents dodged a bullet. My Dad thought $25 for the Millennium Falcon and the Death Star was insane.... LOL
In that case, yes, correct. If all you care about is a prop, don’t waste money or time on a proffie. Just get a xenov3 if you don’t want to edit the minute details
Proffie is still the best for me! All the functions and styles are amazing! And also, everything shown on the Xenopixel board, proffie is perfectly capable of doing all that as well. Great video! Thanks!
Than you! I prefer proffie as well. And yes Proffie can do everything that the Xeno can do except the Bluetooth and making adjustments on the fly. But I like that I can do pretty much anything I want with a Proffie and I am not confined to what comes stock.
So apart from thw programming and customising of sound and lights. Which I'm sure are realistic as They are. Is the bladre any different with either version?
I’m incredibly new to this saber game. Bought my first hilt with a xeno3 setup. Now If I was to really get into, is it possible to remove the xeno3 and swap a proffie into it if down the line I decided to take that plunge? Is that a typical thing that’s possible?
Xenopixel is really a board for beginners and people who are on a strict budget. Options such as Crystal Focus 10 and Golden Harvest v3 put direct competition to the Proffie board. They are as you put it more "detailed oriented" than the Xenopixel and offer a lot of settings and features that come real close to Proffie without the extra steps and learning curve. Those are my go to boards. I have 3 sabers with CFX and 2 with GHv3.
NONE of that is fine for beginners. What hobbies do you people come from that you think a 500 entry level is acceptable!? Not even Games Workshop is that greedy and guiled
Thanks for the video.. Been looking for a saber for my office decor and was wondering the differences between these 2. I know it's overkill for just a display piece and not a dueling piece but you never know when I want to do some practicing with the saber. looks like Xeno will be my choice do due user friendliness.
To be fair, the “don’t duel with this, we can’t warranty the blades” are more for the Saber Legion or other proper dueling club crowd who seriously push the blades to the limit. For the average person taking their sabers to conventions, Disneyland, or messing around with friends, neopixel blades can handle 99% of abuse thrown at them…then there’s bendu blades and sabertrio heavy battle blades which are in a class by themselves.
Cool tutorial video 👍😎 I recently got the Anakin EP2 Proffee from NSaber but the LED on the power in button wasn’t turning on so they sent me a replacement but sent the wrong size so they are now sending another on hopefully the right size🤞🤞
I did just buy a xenopixel v3 on be sabers, and i was curious if i could still mess with the sound fonts and ignitions, from downloading them etc, my next saber i plan on getting is a neoproffie but i was just curious
I picked up a darth maul sn pixel v4 and i really don’t get much of the point of proffie lol if ur really into customizing I get it but for me, 90% of the time im using standard darth maul settings lol
I have a proffie saber, but it’s too complicated for me to figure out. I just copy and paste files from the fonts I want to existing fonts on the saber. I just recently ordered a xenopixel for better ease of use. I’ve tried multiple times to figure the damn thing out, and no dice.
I did bought the proffie one as a 1st neopixel saber. Still trying to learn how to work on it. But at the same time, I'm trying to pick up the SN-Pixel V4(Mando 2.0) or Xenopixel V3 saber(Kylo Ren) But it seems the Xeno V3 is still patching with the buggy issues. Proffie is the high-end.. but I'm also curious with those two would work as well.
I still love Proffie the most. I think its because I have gotten used to it, and I am not one that makes adjustments on the fly like that. I prefer to set it the way I want it and leave it that way. But the Xenos are pretty dope and fun to use.
How do you find the speaker on the xeno v3 vs the proffie? I think the v3 sound is nowhere near as good as the v2, and mine has just cut out completely, not sure if board fault or speaker is blown :(
No, Neopixel and Xenopixel are not synonyms. Neopixels are all lightsabers with LEDs installed within the blade itself. Xenopixel's are a type of install that uses a Neopixel blade, but have more limited features compared to other options.
I just ordered a proffie 2.2 on sale from neosabers and I guess I didn't do enough research before hand I'm seeing things like scam and drop shipper and says its outa California. I got the Cal kestis exact one is it actually good? can you ease my worry, im just like that but a good word from you would help!
I brought the neopixal darth Revan saber and neopixal Jedi Revan saber from Nsaber was really happy with them and was looking to buy another saber. But there is so many website, just wonder which website you would recommend using?
I like Nsabers, Artsabers, and Vaders Sabers. I know I review from a lot of different companies, but thats because I shop for the best price and speed of delivery. The price can vary from site to site.
If you came to the comments first Proffie: Stuff is preset and you do a whole lot of coding to make your lightsaber do what you want to when a specific cue happens Xeno-Pixel: Everything is preset for you and you don't have to do any coding and there is an app or something to help make it easier to select choices when customizing presets Hope this Helps!
But does it cut through a heat shielded door?
i wish

It’s not a lightsaber if you can’t fight with ‘em

If you can't cut down your enemies and take over the galaxy with it, is it really a lightsaber?

you can fight with them, my neopixle is fightable but i js dont wanna fight with some that exposed

This is what I wanna know
Is there anywhere with a roadmap or changelog for the xenopixel v3? (or both!)

Mmmmm not sure buddy
I'd probably just buy a new core with the proffie board and install it into the casing I'm using instead of trying to swap the board itself.
Please don't tell me in the only one who thinks when he unscrews the hilt to show the xeno pixel board it sounds like a Minecraft character eating 🤣

Exactly! I have one GH but not a v3. I still have to try that one out and the CFX. I do like Proffie alot though. Thanks for watching!
Jeez you spent a lot of money. 1 or 2 sabers is enough.
