Hi Amanda
Great u got 1!
U shouldn't have to vent those, in fact u can put frozen dinners in box and all in tact.😊
That will lower the time it takes as well.
I'd be surprised if they aren't ready 20 mins or so.
Some of them come with Pyrex dish with lid, seals in the heat.
I've put my dogs can food in there. Fits 3 small cans perfect.
I believe you'll love this especially with those meals.
U can just shake them to stir at anytime, so no venting needed to stir.
And yes they also have 12 volt ones and 12v adapters to be versatile.
Have fun! Peace my friend, Dianna from Denver Co
Too funny I just picked one up at Goodwill for $5. Enjoy
One of the great parts of the Hot Logic is that you can't burn or overcook a meal since it only gets to 165'. I have had one for over 6 years and love it.
Only $16!?! Great deal! I bought one earlier in the year for $39. I've reheated flat frozen dinners and soup in there. The final temp for me is ready to eat hot without burning the tongue.
Good video. I still use my Roadpro 12v portable oven, but this is a good alternative. Thanks for the review and adventure on!!
Found one of these at the goodwill so I RUclipsd it. 😂 I have severe food allergies and I believe this will help with traveling. I sure hate it takes 45 minutes to heat up, but it safer for sure.
My son uses one for his lunch at work. It’s 12v so he can use it on his tractor. We found it heats food faster in a glass dish! Also for things like wrapped food (subs, tacos etc) put a layer of tin foil down and don’t use a container.
How long does it stay warm for?
The things that they come up with to make life easier
The timing for you to demonstrate that was perfect because I just bought one also. Thanks
I have the SabotHeat. Similar to the HotLogic with a hot plate in an insulated case, but the Sabot Heat has adjustable heat levels and a timer and is 12v. It gets a little hotter than the Hot Logic. When I was van camping in northern Michigan last fall, I made chili at home and vacuum packed individual portions with my FoodSaver. Then I just tossed one in the SabotHeat to warm up. Best part was I just cut the FoodSaver bag open and added my toppings and ate right out of the bag. Only dirtied a spoon.
I’m a flight attendant and this is SUCH a lifesaver. Love mine! I use it all the time. Even if my hotel room has a microwave I will often use this for my food (if I have a longer layover) because the quality and flavor is so much better
I leave mine in for one to two hours because i was busy.
Quality product, truck drivers have been using them for a long time.
My daughter is a traveling speech therapist and she heats hers in the microwave before leaving home, adding it to the hot logic plugged into the car until lunch to keep it warm. She always said a good two hours from cold or frozen.
I love my Hot Logic too! I have the 12v and the ac plug in version.
Thank you for sharing. I had never heard of these. It’s a great idea
I use my Hot logics at home to cook everything they heat up to 170 degrees so far every thing is safe to eat.
Love love love my Hot Logic❤
It takes some time but worth the end results.
Its great to plug in n drive your time n eat when you take a break.
I m thinking of getting another one😂
Wow great deal! I paid $42. Thanks for sharing this. The plastic thing broke immediately for me. Thanks for the great review !
I use mine for days in the state park with a Jackery 250. Love Home Chef, also Annie's frozen food. 2 hours for frozen food. Great video :-)
I bought each of my adult kids one several years ago for $14 on prime day. They love them.
Great ideas Amanda thanks for sharing.
Extremely helpful.
I appreciate this video. I'm thinking of sending one to a vanlifer. 😊
Humm I like the idea of 12v trucker cooker. Bigger and make my own meals plus smells great driving
Good informational video.
I got mine on Amazon prime and didn’t get it for no 16.00. More like 25.00. Those TV dinners from Home chef look really good! Thanks for testing this out because I wondered the same this with using a solar generator to heat them up. Thanks for sharing your findings with us!
I think you are gonna end up loving it like I do mine❤
Heather from Heather Hikes and Adventures uses it. It looks very cool!
I love my Hot Logic.
Hi Amanda
Thanks for the heads-up about the plug. I need an electric lunch box with a cigarette lighter adapter as I'll be using it in my car at work. I'll probably get the Koolatron.
Hotlogic also sells a vehicle version with a 12V connector.
I use a glass pyrex dish with lid in mine.
I think that you can GRT them at Home Depot too.
I bought one and mine is 12v.
Positive Comment!!!
The case fell apart. Plate still works. Electric lunch box is much better. Great pepper or camping system.
I just got one in the mail Friday, I’m looking forward to using mine. Thanks for the video❤ Hi Winston ❤
Way cool! 😎👍
Yes, I think they make them with 12 Volt and can plug into a cigarette lighter, or power station.
I found on on Amazon that can be AC or 12 volt. I don’t know if it’s Hot Logic brand or different one
Hotlogic makes 12v and 120v versions.
I was wondering if they would cook things like raw rice or chicken and it appears they don't.
It will cook raw chicken. Takes a few hours.
It will cook raw chicken takes about two hours. You can cook minute rice in them. Add your minute rice, chicken bullion cubes. When your chicken is done. Your rice will be also.
Is this the standard or XP version?
Standard
do you still recommend this?
I do!
@@AdventuringWithAmanda thank you for the recommendation. i ordered the mini xp
I have 3 of these highly recommend. One stays in the car.
you don't have to vent it
