- I've officially moved into my Toronto apartment so obviously I had to give you guys an empty apartment tour of the unit I ended up picking!!! Did you guess right???! I also sat down and answered some of your Q's about wtf is going on!!!
So many of you were wondering why I left LA, what happens to my place there (did I sell my house?!), when I'll be going back, why I'm back in Canada, why I didn't want to stay at my parents house... etc!

@@KathleenAndEmmaShow 100% i got two dogs and they are lots of work! It ties you down and you can't go do everything anytime you want! For me its worth it but I def feel like Tara would have alot of guilt in leaving a dog with her lifestyle right now!
People always seem to forget how much time and money goes in to owning a pet. I have 2 and they can be expensive!
She is sorted. She knows what she wants and she has a rough plan of what she wants with an open mind. ❤️

i’m so happy you chose this apartment!!! it’s the one i was hoping you’d pick in your last video. i can’t wait to see how you decorate it. you always have the best style when it comes to home decor!!!
Tip for saving space in the laundry,,, hang a shoe organizer on the inside of the door to hold tide pods, dryer sheets, etc. It also works to hold all the things you need for leaving the house, car keys, extra masks, umbrellas.. saves so much space.

do the same thing here in Greece if I had the ability to move out of my parent's house. And that thing you said about feeling like your high school self when you are at your parent's house its SOO TRUE.
I’m going though the same thing. I switched careers and moved back in for school and now I’m ready to relaunch out on my own.
i honestly had the chance to stay with family and i chose the guy.
5 years later and now i want family time but the parents are selling the house. i missed my chance and its a regret but we may all live in the same apartment building soon!

I cannot believe the head on your shoulders. I am a woman in my 30’s, married, with a family and a lot of people my age don’t think and speak as logically as you. You are amazing. My husbands family is all in Toronto and it’s amazing. We haven’t been because of quarantine and can’t wait to go back. Hope you have the best experience and life blessings ♥️

fun tip: if you don’t want to use ice trays you can get an ice maker that you plug in and sits on your counter and you fill it up with water and it makes ice in 5 minutes😘🙃

I got goose bumps when you answered the questions. I just pictures you being by yourself in la without your family during this whol pandemic and it made me sad because it seemed lonely! Just being near your family and starting this new exciting journey makes me so happy for you and I can see your happy! Like picturing you in la right now just seems not right? If you decided to officially full time move to Toronto would you buy a dog?
You can get countertop ice makers! Plug it in and make a couple batches, throw them in the freezer and you're good to go. I really miss having one in the freezer but the countertop ones are a great compromise. Love the apartment!!

I am so so happy for you:) It’s a beautiful apartment and walkable to everywhere. I would choose Toronto over LA. I’ve lived in the USA for a long time, and I don’t like where we are right now. I lived in Canada for 4-5 years and was raised in Japan. Canada and Japan are far, far much better countries than the US... (sorry to say to American people). Yes, the weather in CA is very lovely, maybe the only good thing.
I lost both my parents 12 years ago, unexpectedly. Please live closer to your family while you have a chance. I regret I didn’t do, and I will regret the rest of my life. My parents were such nice people, like yours, and I always had tears when you have to say good-bye to them. I hope you will choose to live in Toronto.

I love the space! I can't wait to see how your life in Canada differs from LA. That seems like the perfect space for a 2nd home. Super excited for you- it's a beautiful place! I also appreciate how mature your thought process is, in that if you got in another serious relationship moving at that point would be really, really hard. I have a gut feeling Toronto is going to be pretty long-term for you and either maybe you secretly know that and are just not wanting to totally pull the plug on LA yet or you do just want to check Toronto out fully first before pulling the plug ;)

Sometimes all it takes is living those experiences to appreciate the little things from back home such as seasons, sceneries, the comfort, family, things we took for granted before! I'm so happy that you chose to move back to Toronto:)

Would you say living in Canada is relatively less expensive than living in California? I'm a CA native and I was just curious :)
Some parts of Canada are cheaper, but Toronto is extremely expensive. The price of a 1 bedroom apartment is very high
But also the US dollar is stronger than Canadian dollar so with the currency exchange it’s not much more!
Anywhere outside of Toronto is reasonably cheap. Toronto is the most expensive place to live in by far in Canada. And Vancouver also. Any big cities really. Depends on where you want to live too. Apartments in Toronto range from 2k and over and houses are 10k and higher.
Krissy K I think it needs to be specified that by outside Toronto you actually should say GTA. I only say this as someone looking to buy/rent who lives in the suburbs (20 mins from the city) and it’s still expensive, Rent would be 2000+ a month for a simple 1 bedroom and buying is out of the question, unless you find a miracle your looking at 1-1.5million+ even for a basic starter home in a decent area. Once you go 45 mins to an hour away maybe you get better deals but for most people that’s not logical.
Krissy K Vancouver is more than Toronto. But yes they’re both expensive cities.

Edan Negrin Ahh okay! Maybe try to google it or ask people who know about renting apartments like these. It looks pretty expensive to me, I assume 1500$ maybe a month but I could be wrong.
that's an awesome experience honestly that you have the chance to do that. I'm also considering moving somewhere in the near future to be closer to family so i'm kinda in this weird stage as well with dating and life etc. I give you major credit for being so smart and mature about the whole situation. It's so nice to see you grow! :)

Girl I’m right there with you about the seasons. I moved from Virginia to Arizona about 6 years ago and I’m OVER the desert. Over the heat, over the non-stop sun, over the dry skin. I miss fall and winter so so bad and can’t wait to move away in a few years.
