If the apartment allows you to drill into the wall you should totally get a wall mount for your tv that extends and swivels that way the placement won’t be so awkward with the couch!
such a good idea! if she can’t drill into her wall there are also tv consoles that have swivel mounts built on to them!

someone once told me that when you have deja vu, it means that you are exactly where you are supposed to be in life at that exact moment. sometimes I second guess my life but knowing that I constantly have deja vu, I am where I need to be for me.

I feel like if you have deja vu twice it’s also like you see what’s gonna happen before it happens or your having a vision but then when you said you know your having deja vu you’re in the the right place, I never thought of this. Thanks! 😄

I feel like the view is really helping your mental health. There was nothing wrong with the LA house when you could get out and about to experience things, but with the quarantine I think the view is essential.

Why is it so satisfying to watch someone like totally start over new in a new apt and put everything away? Lol so satisfying!
Honesty you are so lucky to have such loving parents.
hanging clothes tip my parents taught me that changed the game: lay out clothes stacked flat on any surface (bed/table/couch), pile hangers nearby, loop hangers into each top and fold forward and move to the next one in the stack until all are done. lift all hangers at once if you can and put into closet. hope you see this because it really makes a difference!

Watching this made me a bit sad because I never got to experience living on my own when I was living in Toronto :( I went from living at home, straight to moving in with my boyfriend (3 hours away). Don't get me wrong, I've loved my life thus far - I now live in a 4 bedroom/2 bathroom house with my now-hubby, 2 boys and a dog - but I miss how cozy apartments are and had always dreamed of having a cute 1 bedroom apt all to myself
Watching my grown boys doing the Adulting thing in their twenties: similar feelings, wouldn’t change my choices but never lived on my own. Wishing it was a requirement(lol) but I would not have accepted that! Met Hubby @18yrs old, together 41yrs

Im not saying this to get pity for myself but to express how lucky you truly are. I dont have family. My parents abused me and threw me away like trash and I grew up in foster care which wasnt any better. Youre lucky your parents are loving, supportive and helpful. I love seeing you all happy and cherishing each other. Its beautiful 💜

@@nancyslider645 thanks. Ive grown up raising myself basically and realizing not having them in my life has made me strong and it was their loss. I have no reason to be jealous because I will be the mother to my kids that mine never was to me. You have to choose to do better. Anyway Tara has lovely parents and is a smart and driven person. Ive enjoyed watching.

How are you supposed to be bicoastal living in the US and Canada in the middle of a pandemic?? Idk about anyone else but I don’t like the idea of people from the states coming in and out for the sake of being bicoastal lol

I’m sad Target left Canada too, they had the cutest things. I love visiting trader joe’s and target when I’m in the states. Try checking out Farm boy around Toronto, it’s sorta like a Canadian version of Trader Joe’s.

Curious, why are you selecting the cheapest furniture, decor, bedding, etc.? You will be spending a great deal of time at this apartment, why not slowly but surely get durable items that you’ll absolutely love!
because I don't know if im going to be living here full time or not! so I don't really want to spend a lot of money until I know where im going to live for the most part!! I bought a ton of investment pieces in LA that I'd move here if I decided to stay!

Isn't Toronto on the Lake Ontario coast? So it is bicoastal, just not an ocean coast.
Toronto doesn’t have to be on a coast to mean bicoastal. It’s part of the eastern North America (it’s on eastern time zone too) and LA is western North America so “bicoastal” 🤷🏻♀️ I think y’all being too particular lol
I'm curious what advice you have to other channels regarding spreading healthy and safety practices around COVID19? I have a channel related to Dominican music and dance but would still like to find ways to get in messages to help keep my audience safe. COVID19 has affected dance and music tremendously and so it has a big impact, although my channel is not directly related to health. But I think its so important we start taking this seriously as it impacts health, culture, the economy, mental health and more. Hoping to hear from other creators on how they handle it.

Canada used to have Target but it sucked so bad. There was always empty shelves and everything was kinda expensive. So no one hardly bought anything and they left the Canadian market a few years after coming here.
Honestly, I loved target when it was here, but it sucked. It was very expensive and didn’t compete with any local stores.
