    EXACTLY what I was thinking with the pit limiter!
    Makes it easy for certain areas you need to keep a certain speed which can be difficult or annoying on a bike.

      Nah its perfectly fine. Ideally turn it off before shifting, it doesn't matter but it deactivates the quickshifter while it's pressed in so youd want it off for normal riding for sure.

      WRT is tied to engine coolant temp. Once the bike is warm it wont work - the down side is that the pit lane and launch control are also disabled when the bike is above "warm up" temp.

    Would this be able to be a self install without a dyno? I live in canada

    • @mattnsac
      @mattnsac 3 года назад +1

      yep. The race tools part (at least on my R1) plugs into the oxygen sensor harness. You have to install the load cell and shift rod in place of the stock shift rod and then plug in some pins to the factory PCM connector. Super simple to do and you can also tweak all that stuff as well as be able to fully tune your bike. Not necessarily cheap as my R1 cost me a grand for the stuff but its a whole lot of options for the bike. The tuning half also allows to hook in a wideband O2 and with the auto tune feature will dial in your fueling for mods (gotta do it on a dyno cause you need a laptop hooked to the tuning interface). Its super cool stuff and depending on your bike, they have a shitload of tuning parameters to play with that will definitely free up some power. All that said, you need to know how to actually calibrate an engine and have a good feel dealing with tuning software as this isnt a super awesome power commander where you expect to dowlnoad premade tunes and press go. You get a factory bin aka tune and its up to you to set it up which is over the head of a lot of people. Now granted, if you wanted to spend the money, you dont have to tune shit and still get the race tools stuff and it would work great, but youre leaving a lot on the table if you dont actually tune the bike at the same time.

    question: I recently got the Woolich race tools installed on my R1 '17 but the pitlane limiter is very violant. Like the whole bike shakes like crazy. I used the S1000RR OEM pitlane limiter which is way way smoother... of course I understand that you are riding in to a limiter... any thoughts or settings which I can change? Also, my quickshifter is very violant 9 out of 10. feels like the kill time is way too long. The whole bike gets upset too.. we tried different sensitivities and kill times but it stays violant. only when I am cruising and give it low % throttle it shift smooth (most of the time I guess...) Hope you guys have some tips for me. cheers

    • @OneAddictionAU
      @OneAddictionAU  3 года назад

      Hey Tom, with the violent pitlane this is due to woolich using a fuel cut hard limiter over an ignition cut like the BMW, Suzuki, kawasaki ect. The bad news is unless there is an update it will always be pretty rough unless you set the engage speed/rpm quite high.
      With quickshifter cut times that is absolutely adjustable so there is many more settings in the options that can be remapped there.

    • @tomvanpoele4802
      @tomvanpoele4802 3 года назад

      @@OneAddictionAU Thanks for your fast reply.
      on which speed do you recommend the pitlane limiter?
      any suggestions to the quickshifter settings? do you know if it is related to the TPS?

    • @OneAddictionAU
      @OneAddictionAU  3 года назад

      You can shorten the tps opening time % to see if that helps. But normally the quickshifter is rough around 5 to 20% tps and under 5000rpm

    • @OneAddictionAU
      @OneAddictionAU  3 года назад

      I'd try 5500rpm to start with and work your way up 1000rpm at a time till it smooths itself out

    • @tomvanpoele4802
      @tomvanpoele4802 3 года назад

      @@OneAddictionAU yeah its weird to me because when I am cruising and quickshift with only 10-20% throttle it goes smooth. but when I am giving it full throttle it is very rough. it difficult because the quickshifter is very inconsistent. Not sure what to do. The guy who is tuning it already contacted Woolich.. hopefully it will be smooth again like my OEM quickshifter.
      just a small thing I noticed: with the OEM quickshifter it was shooting flames while shifting gears. with Woolich there are no flames anymore. seems like it is cutting all fuel or something.. ideas?

    problem with the WRT pitlane and launch control on a fly by wire bike, is they are tied to the engine coolant temp.
    Once the coolant temp passes the woolich warmup temp threshold the LC and Pitlane speedlimit don't work either.
    More gimmick than pro level feature unfortunately

    • @OneAddictionAU
      @OneAddictionAU  3 года назад

      That is absolutely not the case. Every single pitlane and launch control set-up we have done works at operating temperature without problems. I'm unsure of what has happened with your bikes setup if this is the case.

    • @RCFourFive
      @RCFourFive 3 года назад

      @@OneAddictionAU i could post a video showing the glaring bug.
      The pitlane/LC will only work in the SAME ignition cycle once coolant temp exceeds warm up temp,
      Once warmup temp is exceeded the pitlane and LC will NOT work on any subsequent ignition cycle until coolant temp returns to BELOW warmup max temp.
      You think I would make a claim like this without a lot of testing?
      It’s a bug easily duplicated on the SC77.
