LOVE IT ! wtg! one tiny tiny note - since it’s a coffee table, ie might be used often, maybe consider a couple of coats of coats of sealant ?. Either poly or wax, your choice to protect all your hard work 😊

it looks so good but i think the surface should’ve been sanded before primer & that the paint should’ve been mixed together for some areas to create some gradience between the white and the darker color to look less splotchy/muddy/unnatural & then be sealed with varnish
Wow; it looks fabulous! I love that you just decided to build it yourself when you realized you couldn’t get it where you are at. So creative and innovative❤
Definitely didn't expect that. Looks great. Just FYI on cutting mdf. Make sure to wear a mask/respirator. The dust is very bad for your lungs. I'm sure this project didn't create a lot of dust. But for future projects.
It looks perfect but for practicality purposes I would: 1. Prime before painting because it won’t stick long to the cheap ikea material 2. Caulk the wood pieces to the table 3. Maybe even sand the wood pieces down a bit before attaching to the table 4. Use longer L brackets and more screws to stabilize the table top 5. Weigh down the table from the inside of the base so it doesn’t topple easily 6. Protect your paint job with a sealer of some sort I’m not saying she didn’t do these things and I’m not claiming these ideas as original. I’m just adding to her project with what I would do if I were to replicate her project.
You replication was well done, but I wish you might have used some plaster or something to give some natural texture, other than just painted on faux texture.
There are a couple of details with regard to scale, proportion that are screaming ‘ how could you not see this...!!’ I don’t want to be negative or point out faults because then you will forever see them. All in all job well done.
(The moment a toddler leans on one of the end sides she's gonna brake her foot bones when it tips & rams into the floor) But I love your attitude. And your creativity. Please make sure it's safe.
After getting into woodworking I started to hate their furniture ( everyone hears it when you have sex on a shifting particle board bedframe😅 ), I used my old IKEA bedframe to make a giant routing sled for my garage workbench.
i'm impressed with the result ! I would have added some weight at the bottom though cause this table must really feel like an Ikea one... as in if you nudge it it will move
Amazing job, it looks very close to the original. It looks like a type of marble. I don't know if that was what you were going for, but you did an amazing job.
Thank you for sharing, it is so cute! Btw could you make something with you favorite colors and your least favorite colors and sit them together and pick which one you like the most. Thanks!!
Looks good but who has that much 1” x 1” MDF going spare? By the way there was no need to glue the base to your reinforced top. Those brackets are more than enough.
That is so cool. I wish i was crafty like that. I could watch this a billion times, and still not be able to make that. It's so sad. kudos young lady.!!!!!

You really believe that she is using that? That'll be in her garage as we speak
@@rabbit3212010 maybe or she probably sells them on
Your not going to be able to wax crap material from ikea. Ikea doesn’t sell quality timber table tops
@@ellis2792 maybe she could use resin…?
Omgsh, I LOVE the fact that you can say: "I thought I'd just make it on my own." Such a Boss! Your living room looks beautiful! Thank you for sharing.
She can’t. She bought half from IKEA. Not the same.

@@1beachygurl if she wanted to you assume she could. If she could we wouldn’t of watched her video with half from ikea. Now would we.
Only thing I would add is a clear top coat to make it slightly glossy like the stone inspo is!
I think it need a water proof layer, maybe like a water resistant paint or something

Nice job but would recommend adding some weight to bottom so it doesn’t fall over

How do you suggest weighing down the table from the inside? I’m interested in trying this.
@@samarasnurserymaybe you could add some stand to the bottom before closing it
