I loved the wagon, the planters, the vase everything really. They ALL turned out amazing. Thank you so much for sharing your ideas with us. Have a great weekend.
I have so thrifted lanterns, they are black but they had to be repainted recently and then i did the ring at the top and the vent and handles in rose gold it looks really sharp. I love Ikea they are reasonably priced and most of their stuff is good quality and very comparable to places like Michael's, Winners, Home Sense and even Bed Bath and Beyond. You always have such great ideas Patti. I hope you are doing well, i love all the content of your videos Patti. i look forward to the next video. Take care Stay safe and God Bless you my friend.
I really wanted a black lantern, but it would have been way to much work to make this one black since the glass would not come out. They do have great prices and they have things noone else does have. Have a wonderful weekend my friend.
You did a great job on these projects, Patti. But i can’t quite get my head round why so many Americn UTubers seem to use plastic plants and foliage. I know you’ll have reasons like cost and inability to keep real greenery alive but plastic is so bad for our planet …
hi. i use fake plants , don’t need to water them, just dust them. some people just want some colour without the fuss. it is bad for the planet, I agree. also, I use them with real plants to make the pots seem a bit fuller. 🥰
I have Cognitive Issues, & cannot remember to take medication, let alone water plants... For me, fake greenery gives me color w/o wasting resources. I think that's actually better for the planet 🤔 It's not like we're buying these fake plants every day & tossing them as fast as real ones get tossed. You buy once & bam, done! Your decorating is finished & you only think about them when it's time to dust. Maybe you change a couple out with the seasons, but you pack the others away & rotate, bc nobody wastes the $ Just saying...
@beebenton7820 - Seriously?! You're going to call this creator out for a handful of plastic plants - which she will likely keep for years, rather than the billions of items put into plastic packaging which will go directly in the trash after unwrapping, literally trillions of plastic utensils thrown away after eating, plastic/ziploc bags, trash bags, plastic bottles, plastic wrap...the list is absolutely endless of plastic that is made for almost instant disposal. But you choose to comment on this creator's PLANTS?!? This is how the "Karen" nickname came about.
@@HopeForUs5 what makes you think i only call out plastic plants? They are just another plastic item which could be resisted in favour of natural, living, growing things. But each to their own … it’s just a suggestion😂
No I haven't used resin before but I'm getting ready to do a top of a glass coffee table and do it in swirls of aqua and white and gold and Pearl and I'm hoping that it turns out well and put geos in it
Enjoyed today's video! You're not nuts! I can't tell you when it was the last time I bought something for our house and l[ved the idea of it but I just had to either paint it, add something, for example, kohl's had 40% off day yesterday so I ordered 2 of the mirrored windows, but I ordered em in black wood cuz I already know I'll be painting them n distressing em lol, oh it's just the "curse of craftiness"! Lol have a great weekend and I'll see ya in the next! Oh by the way.....I love my printer I won from you! Thank you so much! Still the most amazing crafter on RUclips! Thanks again Patti for some great ideas. I expcially love the little wooden cart/wagon. Will be trying that one! All the best to you!
As always Patti, another great video! I just ordered my second resin order. It is the odorless type and I’m horrible about all the safety precautions. I started with a large tray pour. It didn’t harden all the way. I had to pour another thin layer over it and it turned out gorgeous! I look forward to learning more about it in your upcoming videos!
Thank you. I did all the safety precautions because I saw so many videos on the things that could happen if you did'nt. Honestly I think some of the precautions people used were a little over the top.
Love all the craft items but your wagon was so cute ❤ And I also enjoyed your IKEA shopping trip, I will be looking for some of the items you mentioned. Thank you!
Use Resin ALL the time. I will put a teeny tiny whimsical item in depending on who it is for as well as a drop of opalescent tint or a slight slight blue tint to the “water”. I used a low shallow bowl that I placed plastic succulents in and I put the resin in and some dried moss and then pushed the succulents down with a few rocks. The “bowl/vase” was from the dollar store and cost $4. I held about 6 2” succulents with a few pebbles and some loose moss. It looks so REAL and as much as I am not a “plastic” plant person, there are some things that I can NOT grow and succulents are one of them. I have tried for years. THOSE and Orchids don’t love me. I a HUGE Vase I placed Orchids and in the “water” I put a tiny lily pad with a wee frog on top. They are SO small you don’t see it unless you look closely. If anyone knows what N Gauge Train is, these were what would go on the landscape of a N Gauge Train set. I had a VERY EXPENSIVE TALL PLANTER fall during a wind storm…it is also made from a resin type material but much thicker than anything I would pour. Anyway, it shattered into about 30 pieces. It is almost 4 1/2’ tall. So, I cleaned it REALLY well, let it dry in the sun. Took into the garage as you can NOT pour resin in the sun or it will harden faster than you would like….and I “glued” the planter back together with resin. I used the LED RESIN which hardens with a LED light like gel nails do and I painted the cracks together with the resin and I added a black and gold and white to different resin pots as I painted it. It took a LONG time to finish but considering the pot was about $200 5 years ago and I spent less than $20 fixing it, it now looks GORGEOUS and it looks like marble. I could not believe how well it turned out. I have the matching one and have considered having it “fall” erhem…..as one on each side of the fire place with Pussy Willows or Cats Tails (I think that is what they are called) or those curly branches, would look fabulous. Time will tell…….as this one is far too nice to place outside now LOL! Anyway, great ideas Patti and thanks as those are IKEA things I stepped right by and never thought twice about. I would much prefer to use Idea to “craft” than the dollar tree or the dollar store as we have here 🇨🇦. It just LOOKS like it is from the DOLLARTREE……the ikea stuff looks like it is an actual handmade CRAFT. Thanks for sharing your vision as you have just given me new glasses to see through!!!!❤❤❤
Thank you so much. I will have to look for those teeny items for crafts. That is so funny that they did not see them for a long time. That was genius to repair your planter with resin. I would not of thought of that. Great idea. I do like the crafts using Ikea too. I agree, some of the Dollar Tree crafts do still look like Dollar Tree when finished. Thanks for sharing your story with me, I really enjoyed reading it. Have a wonderful week.
I used resin a couple times I love the look I added glitter. It just was hard putting it even all over my plaque , it’s not hard to tell where it’s no even but I know.

Thank you! 😊 I had a lot of fun with the resin, I was a little scared at first because of all the RUclips videos that warned me of all the problems. Not anymore, just going to be careful.
I am liking this all really! It is so good I am going to subscribe, I like that you do not belabor any one spot you move right along and yet get all the info, in the that we need. Thank you PattiJ. I am an IKEA fan for certain.
Add my vote to the wagon. The runner up is the lantern. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve looked at it and left it in the store because it was too shiny. It never occurred to me to just take some sandpaper to it! Game changer.

❤me some ikea. It's my favorite store to go to for so many different things. All your ideas were great! I've purchased (many times) just about everything you showed.
Loved ALL of your projects, and like you, I'm doing that adorable wagon now AND at Christmas! Since my nearest IKEA is 2 hours away, I've got a running list, so I've added all your items to my list, and again like you, I had the same problem when organizing my craft room drawers and did not buy enough of the little trays to put in the drawers so -- oh, dear -- I guess I'll just have to schedule another trip, huh? Terrible. And I too bought a Holmvi throw blanket and also put it on a display ladder and you're right, it's SO soft; I've threatened all family members who use it, including the dogs, so it'll stay clean. You've done such a fabulous job, as usual, transforming all your finds into marvelous decor pieces, and if I haven't said it before, you're the only "crafter" I follow on RUclips, as I'm too old to waste time on those other goofy amateurs. Thanks again for having the best creative ideas around :)
Wow, thank you so much Vickie. Ikea is about an hour from me, so I don't get to go very often. I am going to do the wagon for Christmas too. I think it would be cute in red with a tree in the back. I did the same with my blanket, I told everyone they could not use it LOL. Thank you so much for watching. I hope that you get to make a trip to Ikea soon.
@@PattiJGood ya it's fun we used to shop there all the time when the kids were younger, we have on about 20 min away. Hopefully going next weekend. Have a great rest of the weekend.
Love all of them. Wagon so cute def could see them being used for Christmas 🎄😊👍 Thank you for all the money saving tips at IKEA Very helpful now days This is probably my third or fourth video. I’ve watched today hooked had to subscribe. Love all your creativeness
Oh, how I love that wagon! I've been looking for an excuse to travel to the Dallas area and you've given me one! LoL I have family up there but they alone don't do it! 😂 Great inspiration!
Love your tips, one comment I have, be careful with the ikea tea lights. They don’t burn well. If you need them for an event make sure to do a few test burns prior to your event. 5 years ago I used them for a wedding assuming they would be fine and it was awful. Hopefully they improved the wax
Patti, the nearest IKEA to me is a 2+ hour drive and I have never been. Would love to visit one after watching several crafters who make great items using IKEA items. Looks like fun. I do realize they ship, but I would just like to see it! I love the little ‘wagon’ and think it would be great for Christmas. Used resin many years ago to do this same thing with some dried roses. Believe it or not, it’s still pretty. Love the tulips. Great video. Thanks.
If you get a chance, you should take a trip to IKEA. Mine is an hour away so I don't go but maybe twice a year. They are always surprising me with new finds. Thanks, Patti
The jars. Oh the jars. I told you that you inspire me. I have a recipe for roasted candied pecans. The jars will be perfect at Christmas for the pecans for gifts. You are in trouble. You have officially stepped over the resin line. That stuff and what you can do with it is amazing. You've only just begun. I am going to use it for the water in my gnome bathtub along with some clear iridescent beads for bubbles and some little duckies I found on Temu and a gnome in the tub of course for the gnome house. I think I am going to use some chip board to make the tub and make it look like a copper tub with dry brushing. Love that technique. I have used it for over 40 years now and back then I didn't know it was a thing. Thought it was something I came up with but duh. I am in trouble because I don't have time to do all the ideas you just inspired me to do. You are the one that really got me hooked on the gnomes. I liked them before, but they are and obsession now. I love watching your videos. Today's video is going to cost me some money. 😊 You made my night after a rough day. Thanks so much Patti.
Thank you Kathy. The jars are great. I bought a bunch for Christmas. Yes, the resin thing is going to the next level now, I have so many ideas. Love your idea about the gnome tub and the copper paint, great idea. Have a wonderful weekend.
Who would have thunk that IKEA would be cheaper than anywhere?! Great work, Patti!🎉❤

Use Resin ALL the time. I will put a teeny tiny whimsical item in depending on who it is for as well as a drop of opalescent tint or a slight slight blue tint to the “water”. The orchids look real as well and I don’t even dust them as I put a scotchguard layer on them and nothing sticks. Not dust, nada.
In the succulents I placed a teeny tiny Turtle. Sounds cheesy but again, TEENY tiny. No one sees it but me.
I have made several of these “bouquets” for friends that have asked for specific flowers for their winter table and I have always placed a wee “something” that is a reflection of them…..my cousin who is closest to me in age and size (we were ALWAYS smaller than all the kids) I placed a TEENY TINY gnome in hers. That was a year ago and she just found it last week.
I placed a teeny tiny gecko in my mom’s Birds of Paradise and it was in there for about 2 months before she found it.
Resin is a blast once you start to see things that others do not insofar as what can be done.

I hope that you get to make a trip to Ikea soon.
great finds and ideas, I haven't been to IKEA in awhile, I think it's time I went back P.S loved that wagon
Thanks Niki. I love going to IKEA, I just wish it were closer to my house. Its a haul out there.
@@PattiJGood ya it's fun we used to shop there all the time when the kids were younger, we have on about 20 min away. Hopefully going next weekend. Have a great rest of the weekend.

Hi Patti. I have never used resin either, but you made it look so easy with the tulips and vase, I will try this. again, thanks for sharing. 🥰🥰🥰👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks Kathy. I plan to do more resin projects. It was easier than I thought.

Oh, how I miss living near IKEA. I am glad they will ship!
I don't live near one either. It's about an hour drive. I have had things shipped before and the shipping was pretty reasonable.
I love the little wagon and the resin projects!
Thanks so much!
❤️ I used resin for the first time this ast weekend
That's awesome. I had fun with it and now will do more with it.

Thank you for all the money saving tips at IKEA Very helpful now days
This is probably my third or fourth video. I’ve watched today hooked had to subscribe.
Love all your creativeness
Thank you so much Vicki, your the best.
Oh, how I love that wagon! I've been looking for an excuse to travel to the Dallas area and you've given me one! LoL I have family up there but they alone don't do it! 😂 Great inspiration!
Thank you. I love going there. I go to the one near Dallas too.
Love your tips, one comment I have, be careful with the ikea tea lights. They don’t burn well. If you need them for an event make sure to do a few test burns prior to your event. 5 years ago I used them for a wedding assuming they would be fine and it was awful. Hopefully they improved the wax
Thank you so much and thanks for the heads up. I have not lit any of them yet. That is probably why they were so cheap.
Love everything that you did and thanks for the ideas.
Thanks so much! 😊
Definitely more videos like this!!
Will do!! Thank you.
I have never shopped at IKEA. The prices are awesome! Might have to start shopping there! Loved the wagon!!
It's a great store. I wish it was closer to my house though. They get new things in all the time. I try to go at least two times a year. Thanks, Patti
It's beautiful!
Thank you for sharing this! I will definitely check out our IKea! Love the projects! No I don’t think you’re nuts! 😂
Thank you. IKEA is a great store, but it is a day trip because it is so big.
Loved all your projects

Love the wagon!!!
Great idea they look so good
Thanks so much 😊
Thank you for all ur adorable ideas. Iam recently trying to design my mobile home. Found you just in time. God bless
That's awesome. Ikea is a great place to start.
