Even if he was on Coke, he still had some solid answers for Joan, was very positive guy and could make people laugh. He truly lived the dream most of us have in our minds as the "rock star".

Jim Dandy was the lead singer of a southern rock group called Black Oak Arkansas. You can see lotsa their stuff on RUclips. The "California Jam" footage of them (1974) is a good example of him looking like Roth. Well, he was at least a few years before Roth, lol. :D

He did an interview with Joe Rogan not too long ago (2 hrs. 40 min!) where he is totally calm and you can see his level of being well read at the very least. He has a level of intellectualism and comedy that is missed by the copiers. Rock bands never smiled until Van Halen showed up and showed how it could be fun.

i remember when David used to sub as a radio personality for the Howard stern show in the 1990's. I thought he was entertaining and very intelligent. I find him to be very interesting, the quintensential extrovert.
