anyone who knows how to turn the rabbit character to its original link form after the defeat of the guy in the castle e escaped and leaving me into a rabbit form halp. please alp
It looks like you missed the Moon Pearl, use the Magic Mirror to return to the Light World, Link should change back to he's normal form, return to the Tower of Hera, the third dungeon in the Light World, you will find the Moon Pearl there, it stops Link changing into the rabbit, then return to Hyrule Castle, when you pass under the gates you will be automatically warped into the Dark World, Link should be Link there now.

Yeah the Moon Pearl is easy to miss because its one of the few dungeon treasures that you don't need to complete the dungeon you find it in. Its hard to explain how to get the Moon Pearl, you need to activate the right switches then jump down the right hole to reach the chest, I'll do better than instructions, this link will bring you to a walkthrough of that dungeon, I get the Moon Pearl around 8-10 minutes in, pay close attention to what star switches Link activates and the direction he falls down the hole :D

When i was a little kid. i remember the flute dude giving me the shovel. and i shear to god i shoveled the entire hyrule map. only to find out that the flute was in the same area he gives me the shovel...
Ahh the good ole days of no internet lol. A similar thing happened with me and the Heart Pieces, there was always one I could never find, I tried everything including what you just said, digging up every single on the map (because that worked in Link's Awakening). Funnily enough the final heart piece was the one you get from the Dark World digging game.
This game keeps surprising me in how big and vast it really is.... How much of a foundation it is for Ocarina of time and any other great game.... Link to the past may be one of the greatest games ever thought out.

Antonio Martinez ahh the dreaded Skull Woods Dungeon, I always hated that one, when I was young I didnt know how to open up that final part of it, the place that opens with the Fire Rod, it took me over a year to figure it out so it was the final of the 7 dark world dungeons I completed. Well I plan to 100 great games, on my channel, in real life every Zelda game Ive played has been great so its likly that I will play the games you mentioned sometime. I dont know when it will happen but I definetly will play OOT (Original version plus Master Quest) and MM after that :)
In real life I will be playing WW for the first time this summer, for years Ive been avoiding spoilers for it, Im really looking forward to finally playing it :). I liked reading this "Got my Wii U yesterday, haven't slept since lol" I know that feeling lol, I think your going to love my next 3 playthrough for two main reasons, they are part of a trilogy designed to be a sequel to ALTTP, also they are FREE PC games so you can play along too :) That playthrough will be starting this month :) thank you for the comments, a friend in real life told me this channel is a waste of time because noyone would still be playing these games, so I am thrilled that you have proven them wrong ! Long time ago I was playing a link to te past. I get stuck in the dark world 'cause I didn't have he moon pearl, I left the game and I forgot of it, this year with the swich online I played the game aain and I completed it at 100 %, I think my past self would be pround
It was something similar for me. I couldn’t get past the swamp dungeon because the game never tells you that you need to have the Zora Flippers!
Patrick and T ray: First to keep Link in his human form after beating the castle boss, get the Moon Pearl from the tower that holds the Pendent of Power on top of Death Mountain in the big chest. To get the glove that lets Link pick up dark rocks (called the Titans Mitt by the way), it's in the big chest of the 4th Crystal's dungeon in the Dark worlds version of Kakariko Village. Hope that helps, also Patrick as you asked about bunny Link, until you get the Moon Pearl you can't use ANY of your weapons, your more vulnerable to enemy attacks so you can die faster, and the only item's you can use are the Magic Mirror to go back to the Light world and maybe bottles but not sure. Also if you don't have the Moon Pearl after beating the castle boss the elder who gives you the Pegasus boots tells you to get it to (as he puts it) “Keep your heroic form” in the Dark world. Also in some dungeon's there is a golden star shaped spinning thing that if it touches you it briefly turns Link back to bunny Link even with the Moon Pearl. To stop it either let it hit a wall to destroy it or use the Either Medallion to freeze all enemies in the room, the freeze blast destroys it instantly. It also has a homing effect on Link so it will follow him, getting hit by an enemy also changes Link back to his human self. (Just remember though, he's more vulnerable to enemy attacks in bunny form so make sure you have full health or close to full health should you try that). It can also be found under pots so watch out, and only appears in Dark World dungeon's. Again hope that helps. PS: Link will be vulnerable to enemy attacks in bunny form even if you have the red mail armor, as Link always wears his green tunic in bunny form.

I just love this game! Link to the Past is the first appearance of what would later become a major brand of Zelda games: the existence of two parallel worlds between which the player can travel. The first, called World of Light (Light World), is the real Hyrule, where Link grew up with his uncle.
The second is what was once the Sacred Realm, but it has become the Dark World, a corrupted version of Hyrule; water is an unpleasant dark color, grasses are dead, skulls have replaced rocks and vases, and trees have faces. People change shapes in the World of Darkness based on their nature; without an item to avoid (in this case, the Moon Pearl), Link turns into a pink rabbit.
Each location in the World of Light corresponds to a similar location in the World of Darkness, usually with a similar physical structure, but an opposite nature (for example, a desert in the World of Light corresponds to a swamp in the World of Darkness, a quiet village in the Mundo da Luz corresponds to a city of thieves in ruins in the World of Darkness).
Link can travel from the World of Darkness to the World of Light in almost any location in the outside world using the Magic Mirror, and can travel back to the World of Darkness again from the same location using a temporary portal left behind on the map, at the point where it reappears in the World of Light.
Otherwise, Link must use locations with hidden portals across the World of Light to travel to the World of Darkness. Travel between worlds allows for the puzzle in A Link to the Past that explores the structural differences between the world of light and dark, how Link can travel to inaccessible areas in a world deforming from parallel, yet accessible locations in another world

The free magic potion is something I've never known, and I've played this game since I was 4 years old (I'm 30 now)
When my Dad played it when I was a kid, we knew about the Fairy at Zora's Domain but didn't know she could upgrade your shield, we thought the only way to get it was to buy it from a shop in the Dark World for aound 300 Ruppees I think, only realized you could get the red shield from her after the GBA version was released
Playing this on my retro pie. With my Xbox 360 controller on the big screen. I love my feature of RB and Xbox home button to save the game then I use LB and Xbox home button to load my game slot I can save anytime during game play and with as many save slots I want. It’s a cheap way yeah but saved me so many times in the dungeons

I've got passed the 2nd and I'm at the entrance to the lost woods(in the dark world) with the red stone guarding the entrance and the well to the left of it. I have the power gloves but I cant pick it up to get to the 3rd dungeon

You must be at a different waterfall. I think the dark world pyramid has a pond that you can do the same thing

@@pokebeast1745 they were talking about ways to increase the number of bombs and arrows you can carry and one of the guys answered that you need to go to the island in the middle of the lake(lower part of the map in the regular world) inside the island you will find a pond where you have to throw 100 rupees and in return the fairy will increase your numbers by 5 . Hope it helps

Actually, you need only complete dungeons 5 and 6 to make super bomb show up. Do those first, and then you can have the level four sword for the last five. :)

Allen Warden it is an upgrade it cuts the amount of magic u use in half so u dont run out as fast

you forgot important map itens (they aren't in obvious dungeons): the red shield we see in your video (same place as the red boomerang, and MAINLY-MAINLY: this game is named Link and the 4 swords! where's the last sword??? In the same place where you use the super orange bomb and get the silver arrows! Throw your sword inside there and you´ll get the mighiest sword of the game - you kill Ganon in no time! you forgot also the bat that halves you magic power by 1/2!

Okay so bot to nitpick here...... but some of these are part of the main quest. Which in my opinion. Does not count as "side quest items". The mirror you get from the guy while going to the top of death mountain otherwise you cannot continue the story. As well as the book and the flippers.

The fairy is at Dark world. The Crack in the pyramid leads to a room with the fat fairy.
Where can I get green bombs?
+Alyce Menter Unfortunatly you can't actually carry them, some enemies throw them at you, you can pick them up and throw them back but you can't keep them, I think there is a few trees that drop Green Bombs if you run into them, but again you can't keep them :)

I'm stuck on the 5th place in the dark world. I don't have the thing you place on the switch to get the door open.
You have to drop a block from the room above from the left side
They trick you up a little bit with the numbers of the crystals. Get the red cane from dungeon 6 before doing the ice palace.
I always do the dungeons in this order: 1, 2, 4, 3, 6, 5, 7. And I always get the silver arrows and yellow sword before going to turtle Rock and Ganons tower. Btw, you need the ether medallion to open dungeon 6 and quake to open dungeon 7
