the incredibleness of this concert can not be overstated. From the orders of the band to the production team to keep it as real and raw as possible, enforcing their belief(which I agree with) that the imperfections are what makes the show different from the last and the next, they are the character and color that paints the memories in people's minds for years to come, and no one paid for a ticket to hear a computer play. These guys got on stage and showed all the rockers of the world what it means to put on a show, that even in their 60's they are deserving of the 'gods' title that people bestow on them, and that no matter the newcomers since their departure from the stage, they are still the kings of Rock and Roll.
Although they do not have their original drummer with them, this is actually the first time that "Led Zeppelin" ever played this song completely thru, live. This entire concert is fantastic.
20 million people applied for 2 tickets each out of the 20.000 available, the tickets were set at £250 each and all the proceeds went to charity, it was randomly selected who applied by text would be told by text if they were selected to buy tickets. Some people sold their tickets for over £5K to £8K each, i never would of sold a ticket if I got one.
Fantastic as always!! As old as they were here...in their 60s! Still the greatest! The son of the original drummer is here as John Bonham passed away in 1980.
Consider starting a journey with Led Zeppelin from the first LP to the last LP. There will be quite a few commenters that will suggest different songs by Led Zeppelin. By doing this it will bounce both of you around to different years and you will miss out on how they start and how they grew musically. You may even find songs the both of you like that has not been recommended by anyone in the comment sections. Enjoy the rabbit hole of Led Zeppelin. Thank You!🙂
As others have mentioned - any track from this concert is most excellent, dude and dudess 😊. It would be a "gas" (dayum, am I showing my age, or what?) to watch the original of "Black Dog" when they were youngsters, and then watch the song performed at this concert some 40+ years later.
I'm glad you touched on the pacing, how the music changes pace repeatedly; that's what guitarist Jimmy Page called "light and shade". Zeppelin's music enjoyed exploring the dichotomies of fast/slow, hard/soft, etc. and you will find it throughout their catalogue. I'm so glad you've discovered their music and it will be a joy to share your journey.
Please listen to the original album versions of these Led Zepplin songs. I'm glad you're wearing headphones, Whole lotta love goes from one side to the other, its awesome.
Love your channel you discuss with eachother as much as tell us what you think, and as a life long Led Zeppelin fan of sixty one yeary of age i like to watch your reactions to their music , to see your joy at hearing them now reminds me of my reaction to them in the 70’s and yes they were a fantastic live band , if ever i was going to meet two lovely people for tea and biscuits it would be you two lovely people,👍🙂
Please listen to the studio version of this song. Although I love live Zeppelin, this does not do this magnificant song justice. The studio version is absolutely sublime.
Love this concert - I have the DD as this was the one and only reunion of the band since John Bonham died in 1980. They did this as they had John's son Jason Bonham on the drums doing a magnificent work. They were all in their 60's at this concert except Jason. Robert Plant born 1948 was 59 years at this concert, Jimmy Page born 1944 was 63, John Paul Jones born 1946 was 61 and Jason Bonham born 1966 was 41 years old at this concert.
Another great reaction you guys. You should react to each of the songs on led zeppelin's first 2 albums. You won't believe it. They were a great group right away.
I got to see Page and Plant in 1997 (ten years before this) in Albany NY. at the Pepsi arena. WOW. The best show I will ever see. I saw Neil Young, Beck, John Mellancamp, John Fogerty, Bruce Springsteen, Jackson Browne, Cheap Trick, and many more and none came close the majesty or Godlike quality as the Plant and Page tour for Walking into Clarksdale. (They did 2 songs from the album, then 2 hours of Zeppelin classics. )
Hello to you both! I love your channel and your genuine reactions, showing your love of music. Can I make a suggestion for another great band to check out? They're called Faith No More and I would suggest the songs "The Real Thing" and "Zombie Eaters" as two great introductory songs by them. I'll keep watching for all the great content, regardless. Cheers to you both!
I believe people should hear studio versions before live versions. While this is a nice enough live performance, it just doesn’t compare to the studio version. That’s typically the case for these guys. Their studio recordings are masterpieces.
I beg to differ. Led Zepplin live performances have so much more soul. Studio music is too sterile. Live music at this level is pure magic. Some other bands/artists...not so much.
The drummer is Jason Bonham the son of the original drummer John Bonham. He's also playing his dad's drum kit. Fun little fact the co-founder of Microsoft Paul Allen offered anyone who got tickets through the lottery drawing he'd pay them 1 million dollars for their tickets.
I went to this - tickets were £125 and you got the chance to buy 2 within a 24 hour window via e-mail invite - amazingly I couldn't find anyone who could commit in time and ended up going on my own - they (quite rightly) made it very difficult to sell on the tickets as you had to prove who you were at the box office and were fitted with a wristband as you collected the ticket. It was an amazing night - I saw them at Knebworth in 1979 and, if anything, they were better in 2007! Jason Bonham was outstanding throughout the set - check out Kashmir from this same gig as example of just how brilliant he was.
You think this was good same concert watch them do Kashmir absolutely incredible just amazed me like it's 1970 again but better I think this is one of their best performances.
Album version is much better, but the greatness of this song pulls this performance through. Ramble On is now one of my favorite Led Zeppelin songs. It has grown on me over the decades. Something unique about it, but not the fact that it flat-out rocks.
@@MerchantOfAlba Oh thank you for telling me my friend in Romania had to escape when Russia invaded and is now went to from Romania Now went to Warsaw Poland hopefully will get back here to the states soon United States that is They came from Ohio to Kiev for a job And got stuck there when Russia invaded….
I would recommend the album version. It goes from acoustic guitar to electric, and a tapping rhythm to full drums. It’s really unusual.
Definitely recommend headphones for much of Zep's music -there's so many acoustic fun and games when Jimmy produced those original albums.

I am 71, and I am still a HUGE FAN, of Led Zeppelin! They are the GOATS! Their music will never die! 😎🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥😂

Every time I hear Led Zeppelin from that concert, I get goosebumps. They set the bar so high. Amazing.
Saw them during the Walking into Clarksdale tour in Boston and they played this song. It blew the roof off 🤘
A deep dive into their catalog is one you need to take! To hear and see them in their prime is not to be missed!❤
I saw them in 1970, at Birmingham Town Hall, it cost me about 10 shillings. They are the best band ever, Rob.
I needed that this morning. Even in the midst of difficulty, I can go on my way and sing my song, ramble on. Thank you 😊
Fantastic as always!! As old as they were here...in their 60s! Still the greatest! The son of the original drummer is here as John Bonham passed away in 1980.
Very cool side note, the original drummer John Bonham passed in 1980, so his son Jason is here in his place. ❤️🤘🎸🎻🇦🇺

I highly recommend Kashmir from the same concert
I completely agree, although I found the lyrics were difficult to understand - must have been due to the "mixing" of the sound? 😃

Watch Led Zeppelin live performance of ‘Since I’ve Been Loving You’ it’s early on in their career

You really need to watch them play live Since I have been Loving you live at MSC
Fantastic Song Isn't It. Great Musical Dynamic, Whisper and the Thunder!!! 🦊
Please listen to the studio version of this song. Although I love live Zeppelin, this does not do this magnificant song justice. The studio version is absolutely sublime.
You two are fun to watch reactions!! Me being a young teen at the time when zep came out with this album, I too, had the same reaction 😅great job guys
Love it! Song from their 2nd album. This is a great performance. Shows the talent was still there. ❤❤
Dive into the catalog. You won’t be disappointed…
Enjoyed that, all their songs have a great meaning, cheers to you thanks
You’re in luck bc the whole concert is on DVD & on yt (& my playlist-I’m sure there are many people who have it) now A MUST is Kashmir!
You two are great! Can't wait to see you experience more Zep!❤ Robert's hair has always been beautiful, even today at 74 yrs old.
We want live version of Stairway to Heaven

I've never heard this version, but I'm glad you guys reacted to it it's so good
This song is so good. The only thing thats missing, is playing Heartbreaker and Living Loving Maid, just before you play this song.
Another great reaction you guys. You should react to each of the songs on led zeppelin's first 2 albums. You won't believe it. They were a great group right away.
The late great John Henry "Bonzo" Bonham would've been very proud of his son Jason.
Have a review of Since i've been loving you, live from Madison Square gardens,it's fantastic.
yay, back for some more Led Zeppelin.

agree - Album 1st - then u can hear the difference of how great Zep's improvised LIVE versions were/are.
Check out the live unplugged version of "Take On ME" by a-ha, from a few years ago.
🤘🤘
Check the version of for your life from this concert 🤯🤯🤯
I saw Robert Plant in November 2022, it cost me £42. His co star on the tour was an amazing young lady called Suzy Dian. Stupendous voices, both.
the FORCE is strong with these ones
The GOATS!

Want a like : studio only
Ramble. To travel. Do Kasmir from this same show. You might not survive it. Otherworldly.
This not their best live version. There a couple of much better ones when they were younger, and of course, the studio version is killer as well.
Dont like this version at all.
Led zeppelin was such a sloppy band playing live. They sound good in the studio but in the real world playing for people, very very sloppy playing
