What snow blade are you using ?

    • @gwiefterluchs5243

Hi, sry for the late respons but i will link you some pictures as comparison.
I used the original Snow Blade you can get from Husqvarna and modified it with plastic cuts in the right size i ordered online.
The thin one is Polytetrafluorethylen (PTFE) and the thicker green one is Polyethylene 1000 (PE-UHMW)
      ibb.co/album/DHdwY1
      In a nutshell
the main reason i picked these two:
High level of abrasion and wear resistance
Low coefficient of friction and therefore very good sliding properties
High impact strength - even at low temperatures
      High resistance to corrosion
      Excellent chemical resistance
      Good electrical insulation
      Excellent dimensional stability
      Self-lubricating effect
      Virtually no moisture absorption
      Excellent dynamic load capacity
      Good noise attenuation
      Physiologically harmless

Given the size and the amount of snow I don't think it failed. It's obviously a bit out if it's comfort zone.

it is not an awd? You need that for his amount of snow.

No the Husqvarena Rider 214 TC is not awd. You are right for that amount of snow i really need awd but the 216T was way to expensive and i got a pretty good deal on the 214 TC and the engine is more powerfull + 94cm (37 inch) compared to 103cm (40.5 inch) cutting width gave me more headroom on mulching higher grass, thats why i bought this one and to be honest i would say on 364.5 days of the year he is performing amazing and i would
definitely make this decission again to buy the 214 TC over the 216T.

@@gwiefterluchs5243 I had a husky awd earlier, but I found the changing from mowing deck to snow plow too troublesome. You had to demount the entire front part almost, so I sold it and bought a Stiga park royal, with honda engine. It is a good machine, but even with a snow broom, the snow is really taking its toll after a few years. I had a full service on it this summer, and they changed quite a bit, and the prices were steep. However, yesterday the machine completely stalled. I despaired, and tried to jump start the battery with my car, but no luck. After a while i found that the cap to the plug was loose, and after tightening it, the machine started again. I am happy i didn't order service on it.

Der Rider macht seinen Job, aber für mich ist der zu spielig. Ich besitze einen alten 22 PS Kubota Diesel 3 Zylinder. Der ist tausendmal robuster und stärker und Ersatzteile kosten kaum was.
