    Love how you cut the fillets into sections at the beginning! I've been doing this for years. Makes the Y bones easy to remove because the knife is bigger than the piece making it easier to control. It's also easier to remove the ribs cleanly too

    Hey thanks for sharing Doug. I generally toss pike back because i don't feel like fighting with bones. Going to have to give it a try again!!

    Love to eat Pike. I have ran into many people that throw back Pike because they don't know how to fillet them. I point them to RUclips to help de mystify and show them it isn't as hard as they think. Having all these different methods in one video is excellent and people can choose one they fell comfortable with. I also concur that the larger the Pike the easier it is.

    I somehow caught a bloodworm on a Rapala.
    Hook went right into it.
    This looks just like it minus the v tail.

    Eat these wonderful tasting fish folks.....there many lakes that need to get rid of them.....learn these methods and it will be well worth it.
