I purchased two of the black 0.5 from Tokyo Pen Shop. This is now my favorite black gel pen. It is the deepest, darkest black of any pen I own - darker than the Pilot Juice and even the Sarasa Dry. On standard copy paper, it does not bleed through the paper, and exhibits less ghosting than other pens.
The one feature I like is that the push button stays down while the refill tip is extended, something I prefer in a retractable pen. The white rubber grip is what stops me from making a purchase. I bought several Zebra Blen pens with white bodies, and yes, the rubbery grip section becomes discolored with time. I would have liked to see the grip section the same color as the ink. I prefer the One's wire clip to that of the Jetstream Edge which doesn't clip onto paper without causing creasing/tearing. Doesn't look like that would be the case with the One. Looking forward to Uni-ball's next pen release. Thanks for the video!
I just bought a black body .38mm from Mitsuwa Marketplace for $5.95! But it quite a nice pen that is very smooth. The body is almost too smooth to get a good grip on it.
It's the first time I hear of pigmented gel pens. Gotta give it a try and see how well they work for sketching and with watercolors. I'll go for the set as well, I think...
i have lots of this pen. and there is a big flaw for me for this pen which i had experience with. im from the Philippines and recently we experience el-Niño here and the temp is around 38-45c. and i take this pen with me on a small body bag. and i dont know it suddenly stops writing, and got home get a brand new refill, tested it and it writes again perfectly., and a few days outside on a scorching hot weather, got to sign a paper and it stops writing again. it doesn't like hot weather. got a sharpie pen on my stash take it with me on a hot weather and it was fine my pilot's too are fine. too bad pilot doesn't have 1.0 they have .7 but writes like .5
I think you can overlay these inks and create new shades. For example, you can cross-hatch a cyan and a pink to get purple. For this reason you need lighter, as you say under-saturated, hues, because otherwise every attempt to mix will end up being super dark, almost black.
Does any of the ink bleed tru the paper ? I'm a little shell shock from any ink gel pens because I bought a pen from the office depot once under a manufacturer that they don't sell anymore and it bled tru paper no matter what kind I used from the cheap China paper from a dollar store to Rhodia pocket pads. Thanks for your review and be safe. 😷
Just bought a 4 pack at Walmart 2 black 1 blue 1 red for like around $6.50 I think they're .07 but I wanted Bold 1.0 because I like to stand out. They should make more bold pens. I haven't tried them yet.
I really love the color of the ink these pens give us. However, I used them for my daily Journaling and I noticed they will intermittently wright on paper. Im not sure if its just the package of pens i got or if anyone else is having this issue? I really love the clip and the unique white grippy that blends in with the pen itself.
Hey do you have a PO Box? I have this interesting pen that I cannot identify and since you have given me a lot of entertainment over the years I think it’s fair I give you something in return, I’m positive you don’t have one of these. Also I have the wrong refill in it :P
Update. They are terrible worst than Sharpie S and Pilot G2, these uniball one gel definitely ain't waterproof either. The ink looks transparent like water colors instead of " Supremely smooth and Ultra Vivid " SCAM FALSE ADVERTISING BIG-TIME. I'm returning them immediately.

Yes! The black is rather nice!
Even darker than staples Tru Red gel pens?

Hey bro, from the philippines too, does this issue still persist? Did you switch to another refill?
Wow new vídeo!! Thank you very much.

That makes a lot of sense. I’ll give it a shot
I just bought mine however the ink won't keep consistent during writing at all :(
These have had a lot of problems with reliability!
how big is the sticker on the uni ball one pen? just a random question 🌝
I think the colour blue just font give that ink out of the pen?(I am using the .38 and .5 as well)

I had the same problem with MAJOR skipping on journal paper too ( Leuchtturm 1917 and another similar off brand)
Man you are so passionate this hobby pens you make Mont Blanc look average!
Thanks!
I appreciate the video. Thanks!
Sweet pick up. I can't get mine because Japan doesn't send or receive mail (eBay). They remind me of the Pilot Juice Up.
Wow man those are some pretty sexy looking pens, definitely gonna buy these!
Got mine after watching. Paid less than you mentioned. I got mine in .38mm.
Where did you buy it from?
@@moppiebop..... Amazon Japan.
Wow love this video i am addicted to pens
Shouldn't pigmented inks not fade and be waterproof?
Yes
Are they waterproof? Thanks

When are you going to do a face reveal?
They look pretty cool.
Not as good as the packaging indicates. The whole "vivid" and "smooth" thing is a scam.
first
Signo 307 much better ink colors
