My mother passed away on February she suffered an aneurysm and was on a coma state for 3 days, the scene were brightbill starts talking to his mom while she is unconscious and telling her "I love you, mom" did hit me hard, I've been on the same situation for those 3 days hoping I could get a response that never came, so glad it went different in this movie. Got into the theater waiting just another kids movie and left having one of the best feelings and smile on my face after this piece of art.
The fact that Chris Sanders wrote and directed this movie excites me the most. He has been in the animation industry for decades and it truly upsets me how a lot of people still don't know his name. From Lilo & Stitch to How To Train Your Dragon to The Croods and now this movie, Sanders is easily one of the greatest artists working in the animation industry. I really hope this could be a bigger hit for him. He's such a gem in animation industry, i adore him so much
@@jonathandiazlapham2252 Do you not know how hard it is to adapt a book for the big screen AND have it succeed? Harry Potter is the biggest success in this regards, but countless fans of various book series would tell you that it's much more likely that the movie would either not be faithful to the source material at all (How To Train Your Dragon), be terrible or both (Eragon).

kit connor who voices brightbill did an unbelievable job in this, his voice conveyed every emotion so beautifully - he also played young elton john in rocketman and stars alongside joe locke (who plays teen in agatha) in netflix’s heartstopper which is an amazing tv series!
I came here to say exactly this. They’ve now encountered the two leads from Heartstopper and they are both amazing. It would be so awesome if they watched it. We demand more crying!!!!
It makes me so happy how much both Joe and Kit are killing it these days - they deserve it so much 🥰 Can we also talk about how, between Wild Robot, Heartstopper, and Romeo + Juliet on Broadway Kit is really out here making people cry across three different mediums!? (I mean I haven't actually seen Romeo + Juliet yet, but it's Romeo and Juliet, so, you know, I figure it's a safe assumption lol) And Joe is just dominating October television and having a kick ass intro in the MCU, which we love to see ☺
I recently lost my dad and Fink's line "what if I need to tell you something and you're not here" hit me so hard. It's such a true thing that you have to deal with everyday with loss. And for a film like that to adress that in that way is so special
I BAWLED during most of the movie, I hadn’t even scene the trailer, I went in absolutely blind. At the end, when Fink finally speaks about his fears of losing Roz? That broke me. I almost lost my mom to an aneurysm - stroke combo, many of my friends have left to live abroad. I went with two of my best friends, one of them her whole family live in a different country, and my other best friend lost her dad suddenly earlier this year. We ALL felt this movie deeply.
This is honestly one of the best DreamWorks title in years. The emotional depth and story is fantastic the migration scene and the ending got me crying hahah Great reaction guys! :)
I have a six year old and I’ve watched hundreds of parent child relationships movies but this one broke me. Who thought a robot and some animals could be so powerful
The Wild Robot, in my opinion, is the best work of Dreamworks studio today. Here is a wall of text about why I think so: In advance-sorry for my English, it is not my first language.I don't know why l'm writing this, because it will drown in other comments anyway, but I thought I should express these thoughts. I saw some discussions on the topic of who thinks which Dreamworks movie is the best and why is that so. And I wondered - where exactly would I put The Wild Robot in my personal tier list? And I came to the conclusion, that I would put it in the first place - together with the Prince of Egypt. Now I will explain why I decided so. All good, high-quality animated works are diverse in their content and are never about just one thing: they contain elements of comedy, and some kind of action, and sometimes drama, and so on. Nevertheless, there is always ONE basic feature at their core, which usually defines the genre of a particular work, For example, the main feature, the core of the whole Shrek story is (in my opinion) comedy. Yes, there is enough adventure, yes, there are dramatic moments (especially in part 4). But still, the very idea of turning the stories of fairy-tale characters upside down, the whole rethinking classic Disney narratives thing (it's no secret that Dreamworks and Disney have been... "connected" since the founding of the DW) is still comedic, entertaining, rather than anything else. And glorious entertainment it is! In How to Train Your Dragon, the key genre is adventure and action. Yes, there is a lot of good humor, and deep messages, and there was even a place for romance, but it is still a memorable ADVENTURE story due to the extraordinary world of people and dragons built by the author. It was the thrill of seeing these epic creatures that guided the feelings of most viewers who got acquainted with the first film years ago, and this feeling did not go anywhere throughout the history of Hiccup and Toothless. The adventure called the audience to the screen, not the expectation of new jokes (even though they were great too). Kung Fu Panda is a kind of a crossbreed between Shrek and HTTYD. Comedy plays a fundamental part in every film in this series, but still - these are kung fu films, not stand-up compilation. And yet, the change of locations did not attract viewers as much as the story of the formation of the Dragon Warrior named Po. Rather, it's not about a practical adventure, but a spiritual adventure ⁃ Po's transformation from the humble beginning of the first film into a Dragon Warrior and a kung fu teacher was a story of inner growth in the first place. So it's an adventure, but of a completely different kind. And now about the Prince of Egypt and The Wild Robot. The key genre of these animations cannot be precisely defined. There is a good humor (although there is not a lot of that in the Prince of Egypt), there is drama, there is adventure, and action. But still the movies are not really about that. These films are about human connection with the fundamental and absolute concepts of our world. The Prince of Egypt tells the reader one of the most famous stories among all mankind, which plays a key role in the three existing Abrahamic religions. This is a serious and truly Divine topic, as well-known as it is sometimes incomprehen sible to people due to the sublimity of the chosen narratives and the plot as a whole. And Dreamworks did the incredible thing ⁃ they took this story about truly Divine matters and taught it to US at level accessible to most, preserving the connection of this story with the word of God. This is not just a work of art - it is a real feat of conveying certain Divine truths to people in such a way that the story sounds human, without losing its Divinity. Something beyond our experience and understanding has been brought down to us in all its otherworldly beauty. And what about the Wild Robot? The Wild Robot does the same thing, but in a different way - it does not bring down to our level stories, which are greater than ourselves, but digs up in us what has always been a part of us, but was buried deep inside. If the truths of the Prince of Egypt are truly Divine, then the truths of the Wild Robot are truly Human. The nature of motherhood (and parenthood in general), the sense of belonging, nature vs nurture, the essence and content of humanity, the essence of love - all these topics are as fundamental as possible for humanity as a whole. None of this is alien to us, nothing is strange, but everything is relevant - and that's why this piece of art touches the hearts of the audience. Because it's about every person in general. About humans and what it really means to be one. That's why the value of this cartoon is SO high in my eyes - because it goes beyond simple entertainment and pastime, even beyond art in general. This work is an outpouring, an emanation of the human spirit and human nature, first on the pages of the book, and then on the screens. Such things do not happen very often in this world. That's why I rate the story of Roz so highly - at the very first place. At least in my heart. Thank you for your patience ❤️
Imagine watching this at the movie theater and at the end all the parents and crying lol including myself ... This movie hands down is one of the greatest animation movie ever
This masterpiece is based on the first in a trilogy of books. The second book is titled, The wild robot escapes and the final book is titled the wild robot protects. I hope they complete a film trilogy
Sequels are great when they have a great story to tell. That was Pixar’s philosophy for sequels in their older days before being acquired by Disney. Dreamwork’s How to Train Your Dragon followed a similar effect in that each sequel had a great story to tell, compiling into an amazing trilogy following a pair coming full circle from children to leadership to adulting and having kids.
@brianahanson6449 Chris Sanders and Dean DeBlois were both writer/directors on the How to Train Your Dragon series. DeBlois was the executive producer and Sanders was the writer/director of this movie. They definitely can make beautiful movies.
A sequel for this movie would definitely work not only because there's obviously more material (books) to adapt, but also the end of this movie was purposely written to be opened for more. We can be reassured that the sequel would be something planned and not to milk content (kfp4 anyone?)
Typical film would have ended with Bright Bill flying away and I love that this film goes past that, it was such a great choice and is one of the reasons this film stands out.
The word "robot" was invented by Karel Čapek in 1920, based on the Czech word for "slave". It was first used in his play ... (wait for it) ... "_Rossum_'s Universal Robots"
I read the book last year to my son and I still wasn't ready for how emotional the movie is. I've never seen a depiction of motherhood this affecting and accurate. My son and I were bawling and hugging each other for most of the movie.
Man, I love Greg reacting to heartwarming movies like this, he made comments about John being more empathetic than him but I feel Greg is oversimplifying himself, movies and shows like this is where we get to see the empathetic side of him and it's great to see. He's a great role model of positive masculinity, not afraid to show emotion and talk about the hard topics with a caring viewpoint. Would honestly love to see him and John sit down and react to Bluey, children shows and movies adults can still learn from. love y'all's channel keep up the good work.
I know that a lot of people are expecting Inside Out 2 to win Best Animated Feature next year but it would be nice for once that DreamWorks Animation movie won Best Animated Feature thanks to The Wild Robot. It's been far too long since the last time DreamWorks won an Oscar, not even a single How To Train Your Dragon movie won one 🤷
Honestly, while animation this year has its share of mid/okay films. We still got great movies like Inside Out 2, Ultraman: Rising, Transformers One, and now The Wild Robot. However I'd gladly give the academy award to The Wild Robot ✨🖤
Everything "emotional" about this movie is DEEP emotions, finding where you belong, overcoming challenges, learning to be kind for the benifit of others, childhood, motherhood, The list goes on and on! Just so much to take in that it will be watched for years ane have different lessons for everyone!
our 7 yr old son turns to us after the goodbye scene and says "daddy this movie makes me want to cry" , both my wife and I were already bawling, here him say that just wrecked us.
I've watched it thrice and I'm hoping to watch it again tomorrow before it goes out of screening in my country. Maybe my favorite animated movie of all time at this point.
As a single parent (after Covid), this film hits on so many levels. Even my kid found lessons to aspire to. And if this film doesnt bring you to tears, maybe you are the robot! 🤖
I have only ever been in the theater and had that happen once in my 65 years. It was when Disney's Tarzan came out. It was unexpected and amazing to experience.
I've watched this movie two times at cinema. I cried with one tear during migration scene. Friend of mine cried during Fink's goodbye with Roz. Yeah, men can also cry, and I'm not ashamed because of that.
Thjs movie gave off serious Walle vibes, it was great. This has been a great year for animated movies. The Wild Robot, inside out 2, and transformers 1 have all been stellar
Greg's reaction (silence for a few seconds followed with a 'damn') was very much in line with mine. Went with my wife and 8 year old son; at the end I just stared at the screen trying not to lose my sh*t and then just looked at my wife and said 'WOW' ... as i proceeded to lose my sh*t. Definitely makes you cherish being a parent, and appreciating what yours have done for you.
I cried three times watching this! It was so gorgeous! What a beautiful movie! The music, the characters, the acting, the animation! Everything was perfect! I loved it so much! 10-10!
I saw this at a drive in theater. Such a fun experience! This movie just proves that AI doesn’t belong in art. The music, visuals, talent, direction it went in this was great and was all made from a team who loves animations. It’s a coming of age story that focuses on both the parents and child’s perspective and I think that’s what makes the story feel so unique yet familiar!
Brightbill's migration moment was a hard punch, but I handled. The knockout came with the bear saying "you can count on me". When brightbill showed up in the end was an unfair punch while i was already on the floor
It is such an amazing movie. It was wonderful seeing it in the cinema. In a time with so many conflicts and development, it shows so much emotion and empathy and new aspects. The plot, the Animation and the soundtrack; everything fit together perfectly. It's just a masterpiece
Beautiful story this is the second time this year a movie with Lupita Nyong'o has made me sob!!! A Quiet Place day one and this movie destroyed me. Give Lupita all the awards!
She didn't just become a mother to Brightbill, she became the mother figure for the entire island. She brought everyone together and they all became a huge family. Such an incredible and beautiful story.
One of the most beautiful things about this movie is how it shows that Bright Bill's " disadvantages " were actually always his most greatest advantage. This movie broke me in ways that i didn't think were possible but that's how you know the story was good.
This movie was such an animated masterpiece. I saw it in theaters the night it came out and I was so engrossed the whole time. The emotions it pulls out of you is truly amazing. Hands down a new favorite animated film.
I appreciated Tara opening up about her personal connection to the movie, it rlly hit home for me as well. Greg is right, we do appreciate your emotions Tara! sending lots of love 💖
I adore this movie and cried through it 3 times. I took my mom and then my friend and nephew. I did notice and appreciate it more. I'm so sad it didn't do better because it was the best movie of the year and one of my favorite animated films ever. It's based on 3 books and they are supposed to make a sequel. I can't wait. Thank you for reacting to it and your insightful comments. I hope more people see it
I just watched this yesterday. And woke up today looking to see who already reacted to it. And you have no idea how excited I got when I came to check your latest video!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Lost my mom at the end of September of 2022… this movie came out on little girls 8th birthday… we went to see it and I wept … I was in the theatre looking at her saying “ you will never know my love for you” my sweet husband was like are you ok ? lol a mothers love is so wonderful ❤ thank you for your reaction.
I started to cry, and my son turned to me and asked if I was ok and I just hugged him and told him I loved him so much! 🥹❤ he hugged me back, and he knew I needed it.
I read the book in my middle school. Even though I knew what would happen in the book, it still blew my expectations. The animation really helped to bring so much emotions out of every scene. Yes parenthood is a main theme, but there is also themes about community, being a outsider, and how anyone can be part of a family. I almost cried once, and Roz is my favorite fictional robot. She has a character arc throughout the movie that I haven't seen in other fictional robots. ❤❤❤
My wife and I were in tears when we saw this as we both looked at our 3 year old enjoying the movie. I hope they pursue the other books even though we may not be able to keep it together again lol
I was fighting back tears the entire movie. When roz was asking how to complete a task that requires love i was like dang, how is this movie getting me ALREADY it just started
I remember crying when I first saw this in theaters...and watching it again (through your guy's reaction), brought those emotions back. Lupita N'Yongo (who voices Roz) deserves an Oscar for her performance in this film and I'm seriously hyped for the sequel. Also, fun fact: This movie was adapted from a book series (there's two other books and I believe Dreamworks is hopefully adapting the second book for the upcoming sequel).
Apenas tuvo publicidad, lamentablemente las buenas películas en la actualidad no les dan buena publicidad por pensar que no tendrán éxito. Como también pasa con en "Conde de Montecristo" (les recomiendo esta película es muy buena)
So, this movie didn't hit me as much when I went to watch it in cinemas by myself, but it absolutely CRUSHED me watching this on react channels like this with you guys and I think it's a lot due to circumstance. The movie is a lot about chosen family and i'm currently in a point in my life where I'm thrown deep into work, I'm seperated from my blood family by long distance and the people I've gotten close to over the years have also moved away to different countries and cities. At the moment, I just feel very alone. If you do decide to watch this movie, the optimum viewing experience is to watch it with loved ones ~
The trailers killed me, I’m so excited to cry with you guys 😂 I’m spoiling it for myself because I know if I see it in it’s entirety first I’m going to bawl my eyes out 😂
This movie made me a puddle!!! I was pre excited because the director also did two of my most favorite animated movies (Stitch and How to Train your Dragon) but then I felt so seen because am adopted and was a fairly sick kid most of my young life and I ran in and gave my mom the biggest hug and told her the plot of the movie and she’s like am the robot and your the goose ❤😭
This movie has NO BUSINESS being this good. I discovered it yesterday, I hadn't seen or heard anything about it prior, but holy shit. This came out of nowhere and absolutely smashed it. There arent many animated films to get nominated for best picture. And i dont think this will be, but it damn well deserves to be.
I saw this movie in IMAX last Friday and my God was I surprised as to how great and magical this movie was. Everything was on its A game, and the voice cast is probably the best of any DreamWorks movie.
My daughters suggested we all go see this movie; i knew nothing about it going in other than its animated. I was blown away; best animated movie ive seen since ratatouille. Very under rated movie. Better imo than inside out.
its remarkable how close this movie's plot is to Leafie: A Hen Into the Wild, which is a Korean animation about a farm chicken getting loose and raising a duck, dealing with motherhood and found family and survival and no one accepts them and its pretty much beat for beat the same movie (but darker if you can imagine it)! its like they took Leafie and smashed Wall-E into it, and i mean this in the best possible way. if you can, check out the uncut version of Leafie because its just as beautiful in my opinion.
The Wild Robot is the greatest family movie I've ever seen. It's made for parents, following Roz on her journey as a mother. So many life lessons along the way. Went to the theater four times with my family and I cried everytime

I came here to say exactly this. They’ve now encountered the two leads from Heartstopper and they are both amazing. It would be so awesome if they watched it. We demand more crying!!!!
@@jamesreid9815 100%!
❤❤❤
It makes me so happy how much both Joe and Kit are killing it these days - they deserve it so much 🥰 Can we also talk about how, between Wild Robot, Heartstopper, and Romeo + Juliet on Broadway Kit is really out here making people cry across three different mediums!? (I mean I haven't actually seen Romeo + Juliet yet, but it's Romeo and Juliet, so, you know, I figure it's a safe assumption lol)
And Joe is just dominating October television and having a kick ass intro in the MCU, which we love to see ☺
Kit's accent for this role left me reeling. It's leagues better than other actors who've been in the film industry for decades.
Roz’s eyes when they turn sad when she’s seeing Brightbill through always gets to me
I have a six year old and I’ve watched hundreds of parent child relationships movies but this one broke me. Who thought a robot and some animals could be so powerful
The Wild Robot, in my opinion, is the best work of Dreamworks studio today. Here is a wall of text about why I think so:
In advance-sorry for my English, it is not my first language.I don't know why l'm writing this, because it will drown in other comments anyway, but I thought I should express these thoughts.
Nevertheless, there is always ONE basic feature at their core, which usually defines the genre of a particular work,
For example, the main feature, the core of the whole Shrek story is (in my opinion) comedy.
Comedy plays a fundamental part in every
film in this series, but still - these are kung fu films, not stand-up compilation. And yet, the change of locations did not attract viewers as much as the story of the formation of the Dragon Warrior named Po. Rather, it's not about a practical adventure, but a spiritual adventure ⁃ Po's transformation from the humble beginning of the first film into a Dragon Warrior and a kung fu teacher
was a story of inner growth in the first place.
This
is a serious and truly Divine topic, as well-known as it is sometimes incomprehen sible to people due to the
sublimity of the chosen narratives and the plot as a whole. And Dreamworks did the incredible thing ⁃ they took this story about truly Divine matters and taught
it to US at level accessible to most, preserving the connection of this story with the word of God. This is not
just a work of art - it is a real feat of conveying certain Divine truths to people in such a way that the story
sounds human, without losing its Divinity. Something beyond our experience and understanding has been
brought down to us in all its otherworldly beauty.
And what about the Wild Robot? The Wild Robot does the same thing, but in a different way - it does not bring down to our level stories, which are greater than
ourselves, but digs up in us what has always been a part of us, but was buried deep inside. If the truths of the Prince of Egypt are truly Divine, then the truths of the Wild Robot are truly Human. The nature of motherhood (and parenthood in general), the sense of belonging,
nature vs nurture, the essence and content of humanity, the essence of love - all these topics are as fundamental
as possible for humanity as a whole. None of this is alien to us, nothing is strange, but everything is relevant
- and that's why this piece of art touches the hearts of the audience. Because it's about every person in general. About humans and what it really means to be
one. That's why the value of this cartoon is SO high in my eyes - because it goes beyond simple entertainment
and pastime, even beyond art in general. This work is an outpouring, an emanation of the human spirit and human nature, first on the pages of the book, and then on the screens. Such things do not happen very often in this
world. That's why I rate the story of Roz so highly - at the very first place. At least in my heart.
Thank you for your patience ❤️
This is by far my favorite movie of the year, moved me to tears in that migration scene. That scene is a masterpiece.
Same❤❤
Imagine watching this at the movie theater and at the end all the parents and crying lol including myself ... This movie hands down is one of the greatest animation movie ever
bawled three times in the theatres over this
me too
Is that it 😂
Lmao same
This masterpiece is based on the first in a trilogy of books. The second book is titled, The wild robot escapes and the final book is titled the wild robot protects. I hope they complete a film trilogy
The sequel is already in development
Same!
The word "robot" was invented by Karel Čapek in 1920, based on the Czech word for "slave". It was first used in his play ... (wait for it) ... "_Rossum_'s Universal Robots"
😮
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS!!!
🔥
Oh yeah!!!! Very cool.
I read the book last year to my son and I still wasn't ready for how emotional the movie is. I've never seen a depiction of motherhood this affecting and accurate. My son and I were bawling and hugging each other for most of the movie.
The music score in this movie is a masterpiece!!! Especially when Brightbill takes off, the music score really invokes a lot of emotional.
I'm already mad knowing it won't get nominated for best score, it's so beautiful :(
💯
And I ALWAYS thought HTTYD should have...especially one of the first two!
Honestly, while animation this year has its share of mid/okay films. We still got great movies like Inside Out 2, Ultraman: Rising, Transformers One, and now The Wild Robot. However I'd gladly give the academy award to The Wild Robot ✨🖤
Ultraman Rising is underrated
Ultraman Rising needs more reactions from other reactors
@RomanticWaltz seriously, I really loved untraman rising..The animation was really good and unique too The animation is which no one talks about
Everything "emotional" about this movie is DEEP emotions, finding where you belong, overcoming challenges, learning to be kind for the benifit of others, childhood, motherhood, The list goes on and on! Just so much to take in that it will be watched for years ane have different lessons for everyone!
Saw this in the theater with my mom for her birthday. I had zero expectations. We were bawling 🤣
Mark Hamill and Pedro Pascal. Can’t go wrong!
I have never cried watching a movie in my entire life. But this, this one brought me to the brink of tears.
our 7 yr old son turns to us after the goodbye scene and says "daddy this movie makes me want to cry" , both my wife and I were already bawling, here him say that just wrecked us.
Great to see the movie hold/rally well @Box Office ($232.3m worldwide) despite Universal stupidly putting it out so early on digital release!
where can I watch it though
I've watched it thrice and I'm hoping to watch it again tomorrow before it goes out of screening in my country. Maybe my favorite animated movie of all time at this point.
I hope it gets a re-release in theatres! Maybe a limited return right before the Oscars next year. It really deserves to have made so much more.
@@Rhapsodic-xt8hq it’s still in theaters. I saw it yesterday. Glad I saw it in theaters too.
I watched this in the theater while it's already out online
As a single parent (after Covid), this film hits on so many levels. Even my kid found lessons to aspire to.
And if this film doesnt bring you to tears, maybe you are the robot!
🤖
I’m def the robot LOL
not a tear it was an ok movie
An ok movie?
U guys don't have emotions ?
@@Lemonman21 it wasnt sad bruh
@@salliejones6002 it doesn't have to be sad to shed tears my guy
The way you know it may be the best animated movie of the year is when your entire theater claps at the end .
I have only ever been in the theater and had that happen once in my 65 years. It was when Disney's Tarzan came out. It was unexpected and amazing to experience.
@ Tarzan definitely deserved the round of applause
0:53 “what if we don’t like the movie?” 1:02:56 “damn.. omg”
Those two timestamps are a story in itself. Love it
I hope this movie wins at the Oscar’s
Brightbill's migration moment was a hard punch, but I handled. The knockout came with the bear saying "you can count on me". When brightbill showed up in the end was an unfair punch while i was already on the floor
It’s nice how this movie is about motherhood but also about people with disabilities and being able to do the same goals as everyone else
It is such an amazing movie. It was wonderful seeing it in the cinema. In a time with so many conflicts and development, it shows so much emotion and empathy and new aspects. The plot, the Animation and the soundtrack; everything fit together perfectly. It's just a masterpiece
The music really elevated this incredible movie
Love the reference of it takes a village to raise a child….. such a good movie… balled my eyes out in theatres all movie
Beautiful story this is the second time this year a movie with Lupita Nyong'o has made me sob!!! A Quiet Place day one and this movie destroyed me. Give Lupita all the awards!
IKR?
1:10:32 It's Lupita Nyong'o who plays Roz.
thank you. we never give the voice artist love. smh
And she did it beautifully.
8:47 "she's gonna find a best buddie. It's not gonna be that bear, maybe it's a bird"
❤❤❤
This is how movies used to be. This is how movies should be.
Yup thank spiderverse for changing the animation industry
It's not often that you feel like something new is being added to the corpus of mythology, but I think this film manages that.
Now you need Transformers One!!!
Agreed
Yessss
Yess! Worth watching!
Facts 👌🏾
They have
I appreciated Tara opening up about her personal connection to the movie, it rlly hit home for me as well. Greg is right, we do appreciate your emotions Tara! sending lots of love 💖
There are so many parts that make me cry. But the scenes where Bright Bill is learning to fly to the point he leaves with the flock, I'm a mess.
I think the importance of this film is that it affects people so deeply. You guys exemplified that point clearly.
Fun fact:The person who plays Long Neck (Bill Nighy) is the same person who plays Davy Jones from Pirates of The Caribbean
I've loved the book for such a long time. Teaches kids some hard life lessons in an easy to digest way. Favorite book I read to my kids.
Yesss boy oh boy have I been waiting for this one! In my honest opinion this is a movie of the year contender for sure.
I need to read it and the sequel since the movie is getting a sequel
This is such a beautiful movie with a lot of heart! It should be a shoo-in for the Best Animated Feature Oscar!
Red foxes live 3 to 4 years in the wild, but like any other canines, they can live up to 10-15 years in captivity, lol.
So like...how did i not see ANYTHING about this awesome movie before this video!?
Apenas tuvo publicidad, lamentablemente las buenas películas en la actualidad no les dan buena publicidad por pensar que no tendrán éxito. Como también pasa con en "Conde de Montecristo" (les recomiendo esta película es muy buena)
the whole emotion completely burst out when brightbill finally calls roz his mom😭😭😭😭
This movie has a surprising amount of gallows humor and I'm here for it.
The trailers killed me, I’m so excited to cry with you guys 😂 I’m spoiling it for myself because I know if I see it in it’s entirety first I’m going to bawl my eyes out 😂
Those were the first trailers that ever made me cry
this movie was AMAZING - just watched it this morning! me too, BAWLING! gosh, that was beautiful! thanks for your reaction, you beautiful people! x
"what if I need to tell you something and.. youre not here?" Very relatable 😢
So true..
Such a gorgeous movie. Chris Sanders knocked it out of the park
I don’t think I’ve ever been in a constant state of tears as much as I was in this movie
The timing lmao i just finished the movie ,tears all over the place
I like the fun brutality of this movie, it's not afraid to be REAL, but also those visuals...I mean, wow.
I saw this movie in IMAX last Friday and my God was I surprised as to how great and magical this movie was. Everything was on its A game, and the voice cast is probably the best of any DreamWorks movie.
Honestly really beautiful movie, I loved how her voice changed from robotic to human when she started talking to brightbill at the end 😢
35:53 "only in animation can you do this"
"Exactly"
My daughters suggested we all go see this movie; i knew nothing about it going in other than its animated. I was blown away; best animated movie ive seen since ratatouille. Very under rated movie. Better imo than inside out.
i agree,, inside out 2 was very good.. but for me the wild robot hits harder and I like it more than inside out 2! i hope it gets an award on oscar
its remarkable how close this movie's plot is to Leafie: A Hen Into the Wild, which is a Korean animation about a farm chicken getting loose and raising a duck, dealing with motherhood and found family and survival and no one accepts them and its pretty much beat for beat the same movie (but darker if you can imagine it)! its like they took Leafie and smashed Wall-E into it, and i mean this in the best possible way. if you can, check out the uncut version of Leafie because its just as beautiful in my opinion.
The Wild Robot is the greatest family movie I've ever seen. It's made for parents, following Roz on her journey as a mother. So many life lessons along the way. Went to the theater four times with my family and I cried everytime
