- Here are five possible reasons why JET Programme Philippines applicants fail to advance to the next stage of the screening process.
CLARIFICATION on DOCUMENT REQUIREMENTS: The Statement of a Physician is optional ONLY forthose applicants who do not have any medical condition to declare in their Self-assessment of Medical Condition. However, it is highly encouraged to submit one.

VERY INTERESTING VIDEO!! i almost failed my JET interview because they were asking me impossible questions to see if i would crack under the pressure. i almost did but thankfully kept my composure. I THINK THIS WAS A TEST to see if i could handle the cultural pressures of change in Japan 🇯🇵
Agreed! I believe the screening committee wants to see how the applicants respond to different kinds of pressure when they become assistant language teachers in Japan.

Thank you so much for this sir Joey. However, kinakabahan po ako sa SOP ko kasi nagconfirm ang embassy ng specified format during their FB live (w/c was different from the website) although indicated ng one of the staff na follow the website's guidelines. Whew. Bahala na po si Lord talaga. Hehe.
They did mention about the 2021 guidelines but corrected themselves in the latter part of the live session. So i believe you should be good.

Equal lang din po ang chance nyo like the other applicants. Galingan mo na lang sa SOP mo para laban na laban.

A copy of your PRC license should be good.
Hello po, sensei! Yung original TOR ko po ay naka print sa long sized bond paper po. So kung ipapa-photocopy ko po siya, dapat po ba sa A4 or long paper na din po? Maraming salamat po! Sobrang helpful ng mga videos niyo. In fact, naka playlist ang mga videos niyo po sa akin. 😊
Ok lang po na naka-long yung photocopy kung mahirap iresize.

Hi Sir! Thank you so much for this video. I just want to ask lang po, is it okay po kaya to submit certificates sent online? Like, I finished a MOOC course po ng TESOL Methodology pero ang provider po ay ang US Embassy in the Philippines so QR code po ang binigay nila for authenticity checking and another thing po I finished N5 Japanese course po from a school but it was taken online so e-cert din po ang sinend nila. Do I need to provide a CTC of that or a photocopy will do? Thank you so much po
For the TESOL, you can submit a printout, just make sure the qr coded is with it. For the N5 course cert, no need to submit. Just write your N5 studies in the designated item box.

If nag study po ng Japanese language sa isang institution, isasama po ba yung certificate of completion sa documents na ipapasa? kasi sa application form, may part na i indicate if nagstudy ng Japanese language, name of institution, etc. pero yung nakalagay naman sa website nila is JLPT certificate ang ipapasa. ibig sabihin hindi na isasali yung certificate of completion ng Japanese language course?
No need to submit yung certs from your Japanese studies. Just the JLPT cert of passing.

Hello, Teacher. Medyo confused po ako regarding sa "Certification of Graduation". You've mentioned sa other video niyo na iba ang diploma sa COG, but you said here na pwede na ang diploma basta certified in the absence of COG. Kindly enlighten me po. Maraming salamat. 🫶
The certification of graduation can be requested from your university. If they don't release such document, you can have your diploma photocopied and have it certified as true copy. That can be submitted in lieu of the COG.
Sensei! I have a question regarding sa abbreviation. Ung JLPT po kasi na full name ay hindi na po kasya. Should I just abbreviate it sa application form ung sa bandang Japanese proficiency certificate?
Should I just write JLPT N4? doon po sa type na Japanese certification
Baka pwede na yun kasi mentioned naman yung JLPT sa ibang parts ng application form.

As long as alam mo ang rules ng English grammar, may good standard pronunciation, knowledge about the common usage and style of English, at ma-meet mo ang eligibility criteria, pwedeng pwedeng mag-apply.

I didn't kasi during my application, we didn't have plans of bringing them here yet. I don't think it's a factor in getting accepted to the program.

Hello! Unfortunately, once the embassy posts that they are done sending emails for interview and demo, yun na yun. Tapos na sila sa first stage ng screening. And only those who receive invitation emails will advance to the next stage. Those who didn't receive any are encouraged to try again for next batch (2023).

I sent my application from TH to the JET PROGRAMME last Nov9 using EMS. I was told then that it would only take 2 weeks to reach PH. Unfortunately,PHLPOST EMS took exactly a month to deliver my application to the Japanese Embassy PH. They processed and delivered it on Dec9.😭😭 So even if my dox reached the JET PROGRAMME,didiretso lang xa sa basurahan po?? 😓😔
Oh no! EMS shouldn't take that long. Hopefully the screening committee gave your case some consideration since the date of sending the docs is stamped on the parcel.

No need for certified copy of license. Just the normal photocopy will do.

A letter of reference is a letter of recommendation po. Your two referees should know na po how to write one.
Hello po Sir! Does that mean automatically disqualified na po kapag abbreviated yung Incorporated? Admittedly, I think I did this. Also one of the companies I worked for just used three letters as its name but no one really knows what it means. Would these factors mean automatic disqualification? Thank you po.

Sa application lang po? Depende po kung saan po manggagaling ang mga document requirements nyo kung magpapasa. Kung within ncr lang naman or neighboring regions, di naman siguro aabot ng 3k.

Di ba po kumuha ka ng certified true copy ng document na ipapasa mo sa school mo? Yun na bale ang original. Ipa-photocopy mo yung ng 2copies. Yun na ang photocopies. So meron ka nang 1orig and 2photocopies

The latest info/instruction is to clip each set of documents then place them all (3sets) in one envelope.

If those are like certificates of participation to trainings, I think it's okay if you didn't include them.

Required po ba ng reference letter if fresh grad?
Yes po. Lahat po ng applicants, regradless kung newly grad or matagal nang working. For newly grad applicants, they can ask their college profs or officials siguro for the letters of reference.

Hi sir Joey, sa company ko, my LTD na abbreviation ang name sa dulo, at yun naka sulat sa contract at COE ko sknla, hnd ko alam anong full word ng LTD sa company nila kc wala naman yun dun sa contract nakalagay. Kaya LTD nalang nilagay ko, dadalawang isip kc ako kung Limited din ba meaning nun sa business nila or anu kaya di ko na binuo . Minessage ko sila hnd nag rereply. Panu po yun kaya?
Kung officially or commonly known name ng company ay LTD ang ginamit, okay lang po yun.
