Paint If you have the opportunity, it's okay to start out with an okay paint, pretty good brush, and the best paper you have access to. Artist paints on flimsy paper will just make you cry

Also using tape to create swatches is genius and I'm mad I haven't thought of it. Also the anime laaovan is adorable and I'd love to see a whole series of this. I'd pay good money for that art tutorial series. You're a natural teacher!

I really like how you addressed the limitations of those Do's and Don'ts discussions. With that said, this is a very informative video. I prefer watercolour over Acrylic painting, but during school I learned very quickly how difficult to work with it can become.
