You are so good at the wet on wet watercolor technique. I have followed along with a few of your videos but am wondering what type/brand of paper you use for wet on wet? I do my best to use “just enough” water but a lot of times when I’m making a color gradient it feels like the paint is being scraped back and forth and lines appear. Do you think it might be due to the paper or could it be a technique issue?

Galaxy Floral This is late but if you want the best results, you might need to invest a bit more in better watercolours. Not saying it has to be like $100. It could be like $10 and you would get much better results than buying a $5 one.

Wow! Such a great technique! 🎨 ❤️ I’ll try this for sure! May I ask what paper you used? Cause a lot of papers don’t do well with water retainment, they curl up easily :/

Hi! I enjoyed watching you do this technique. It is a fun technique. It kind of feels like you are carving out the objects in the picture because as you paint around them they pop right off the paper! I like how you added shadows and details. I think I've been too much of a purist, and now I feel inspired to add a lot more dimension thanks to you!

I've had this video in my watch later files for a while. I really loved this idea. I'm new to water color and I've been intimidated about trying. But i really think that this technique may help me learn to build up values efficiently and let the paint express more than like work. Tysvm for sharing this in gonna have to try this.
