It was so good Laface asked them to updated it and remove the Christmas elements
Outkasts "ATLiens" album is considered damned near perfect. No skips, all bangers, theme, everything. One of my favorite, easily a top 3 in all of Hip Hop.

Yeah Players Ball was definitely their coming out party they just got signed to LA Face records and LA Reid wanted them to record a Christmas 🎄 song for the Christmas album LA Face records was gonna release and OutKast didn’t want to do a Christmas song so they came up with Players Ball making a hood Christmas song and they did it in a way where you wouldn’t really know it was a Christmas song unless you paid close attention to the lyrics and I agree with your take on Big Boi 3 Stacks gets all the mentions but nobody really talks enough about Big Boi’s contribution anyway dope reaction as always

There's a version where the chorus is different and mentions Christmas. Hojo is prolly Howard Johnson, they say "all the playaz came on CHRISTMAS DAY" Play CHONKYFIRE on Aquemini🔥🔥 Andre been a goat mad versatile!!

Being from the UK we were so used to listening to East Coast and west Coast rap when OutKast and goodie Mob came out you have to try and figure out what they were saying being that there were from a different demographic with that country slang was firee to us 🔥🔥🔥

And his mom's crib they will record songs in the basement but that's why all the homeboys all the weed smoking all the girls you know was at.... And they call his mom basement the dungeon which in turn became the name of the group so it's a double meaning.... lost Boyz Renee 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥... This is a true life storytelling song... If you want to treat yourself and treat everybody else Lost boyz is another classic group... Mr cheeks was a dope MC.
