dude was clocked at actually 4.12 but it was an unofficial time and wasn’t electronically timed. he ran straight through the guy with the stopwatch and kept running to track practice after he ran the 4.12.

No better a defensive back with his kind of closing speed and hands.. so many from across the field plays.. Talented in all sports a pure athlete.. and one heck of a man now and role model.
He's the only player to hit a home run in MLB and score a TD in NFL in the SAME WEEK🤦🏼♂️😂. He also scored a punt return his first time touching the ball in the NFL as a rookie for Falcons!
The best cornerback ever. Funny, I was thinking yesterday about when you guys would get to the NFL. Since you're looking at the best of the best, I suggest you impress and entertain yourselves with Barry Sanders, Walter Peyton, Eric Dickerson, Marshall Faulk, and Tony Dorsett NFL career highlight reels. Those are the VERY best running backs that I've seen do it (5 of my top 10 ever). Btw, Deion arrived at the NFL combine (in a limo) and ran a 4.2, wearing his warmups, got back in the vehicle and left.
I have seen interviews where the coaches said that they told their QB'S try to throw to a receiver not covered by Deion Sanders. That's why Pime is one of the greatest. 😁. Check out Barry Sanders next.
I love Deion, and it's great to watch you young cats watch some older highlights. I truly enjoy your reactions. I think you should check out Reggie Bush USC highlights.
There's an NFL story about D Sanders at the combine. He ran something like a 4.2 or 4.1 in a gold chain ,jeans ,and sweatshirt. I believe it was coach bill parcels and Sean Payton who were checking to see if there stop watch was broken.
I watched Dion and a lot of other great football players what made Dion so special and distinct and unique, defensively speaking he took away a whole side of a football field .if you threw it his way he was probably going to pick it off chances were very high. In other words he changed the way you had to play your game against him not a lot of players do that. Especially ones that play cornerback. And to say he had elite speed is to say the least that man had makeup speed .I've seen him stumble fall down get back up and still pick the ball off. It's incredible the speed he has it's blindingly fast. You know how some guys run around bases and they're fast . It's like the Marlins when they won their year they were blindingly fast and that's how Dion was.
Here in Fort Myers Deion was legend in youth sports and high school. I knew his HS baseball coach who told me Deion always had a green light on steals and was usually standing on third within two or three pitches. Coach told me that it was unreal looking at him coming towards him at third from second he was so fast. He played QB on his high school team and was a man among boys. I met a guy that played Little League with him and he said he would steal home on a regular basis and was a cocky, cocky kid. One of the greatest athletes of the last century for sure.
I think Deion was only a couple years younger than Bo Jackson, they even played against each other in college. So, they were timed with the same technology. I think I remember reading that Deion ran a 4.21 forty when he was at FSU. He and Bo were both incredible, and they were great team players. I think when he was playing for the Cincinnati Reds, Deion once got on first, stole second, stole third, and then stole home.
I hear y’all talking about my Auburn boy A. Swartz. He will get it together, just be patient. And Bo Jackson did play football, baseball, and run track at Auburn
@@a.d.9872 damn man, he was a freaking machine. 😂 Fr that's why I love these old videos man because as fans I feel like it's important to go back and look at some of the guys who had huge impacts on all our sports
He was so much fun to watch, in real time. He never took his eye off the ball, I think that's why he was so good at snatching it, I feel he ran that way so he could move eft to right instantly depending on where the opposition was. He could avoid the tackles, like a dance. Amazing.
He played in an Atlanta Falcons game at 1:00 eastern time then when that was over hopped in a private jet and flew to wherever the Braves were playing their playoff game that night he actually played in an NFL game and a major league game in the same day I believe he's also the only player ever to play in a World Series and a Super Bowl or maybe it was baseball playoffs in a Super Bowl something like that
He played in the World Series in '92 for the Braves, but he never won one. He was a member of the '91 Braves who made the World Series, but he didn't play because of his obligation to the NFL Falcons. He had his contract reworked to allow him to play the baseball postseason after that.
The Falcons had two Major League Baseball players on the roster at the same time back then. Deion Sanders and Brian Jordan, who played for the Cardinals. Pretty sure Brian Jordan is in this video making an interception and then tossing the ball to Deion. Getting the ball to Deion after a turnover was a common occurrence on the Falcons (Tim McKyer does it twice in this video as well).
Gents, great stuff, always look forward to viewing your content, as it NEVER disappoints. In respects to the Hospitality State, there are multiple regions/areas which have little to no similarities with the other areas. The roughest area of the state is the Delta, as I grew up on the coast, and those two areas could not be any more opposite of one another. Simply stated, there is a reason "The Blues" originated in the Delta. Jackson is in a category of its own, as I have nothing positive to share about that place, as the legislation of the state is here, and enough said about that area. There are the surrounding areas of both Meridian and Tupelo which have some families which go back to several generations. The Gulf Coast has a large DoD presence [Ingalls shipbuilding shipyard (Pascagoula), Keesler AFB (Biloxi) & Navy SeeBees complex (Gulfport)], as the Gambling industry is three decades old as of the first of August last year [2022]. The areas in & around Hattiesburg, Oxford & Starkville have a large college population. The best people, or the ones which fortify the title "Hospitality State" are from the Brookhaven / McComb area, as these are some of the best people you will ever encounter, as they literally will give their shirt off their back to help out someone in need. Mississippi has some great people, but the economic gap between economic classes are too extreme, as the legislators have had three decades to decrease the divide throughout the state, and they had failed epically. Many thanks for sharing! 🍻🙏🏻🍻
You guys need to react to Bo Jackson.......he was the most amazing college/pro football player, and a damn amazing baseball player. He was just from another planet. If he had not gotten hurt, I think he may have been considered the best athlete to ever play football or baseball.
Dave Winfield, who played for the Padres and Yankees in MLB was drafted by 4 professional sports leagues.....was drafted by the San Diego Padres (4th overall), was drafted by the Atlanta Hawks in the NBA, the Utah Jazz in the ABA and the Minnesota Vikings in the NFL. In college, he won a Big Ten basketball championship and was the college world series MVP as a pitcher.and has the distinction of being the only player in the HOF to have never played in minor leagues in baseball. From High School straight to the Majors.
Deion ALSO played basketball lol Man is the GOAT. He was later known as a mercenary as he didn't look to sign these long contracts he was short term for a high pay that year. He only played out his rookie contract with Falcons who drafted him so 5yrs then signed for only 1yr with 49ers after having 20 plus INT and 10 total touchdowns you know he could've signed long-term anywhere, but he won with SanFran and dipped to Dallas and won back 2 back 1 of only about 7 players to win back 2 back superbowls with different teams(sure it sas less at the time). He's 1 of only 2 players to score 6 different ways: Int ret, punt ret, kick return, fum ret, recieving, and rushing and he'd probably would've been able to add Passing had the run more fake pass/runs to him then he throws a pass but regardless dude was a monster. Also only player to have a reception and interception in the same superbowl game.
If you can find a clip, I remember seeing a play where Deion was sent in on a blitz on Jim Kelly of the Bills. He got there and was on the ground around the Bills' 10 yard line. Kelly got the ball off to a receiver named Don Beebe. Beebe catches it in stride at the 30 and has clear sailing with a blocking escort. Out of nowhere, you see these feet on the tv - it's Deion. He caught up to Beebe and knocked him out of bounds at the 5 yard line. Think of that. Beebe had a 20 yard start in motion wile Deion was on his back 20 yards behind - and caught up to him within another 60 yards. Dude was super-human at times.
So the story goes, coach Martin, the fsu baseball coach, said one day at practice, they were all messing around and players were challenging each other to see who could run the bases fastest. All these players went and they were sprinting from home plate. Deions turn comes and they said he started jogging from home plate to first base and when he hit first, he switched to full gear and took off and he still beat every players time. The man was a machine. One of the only players to have his jersey retired at FSU.
I got a pair of Deions for my bday in '94 & you couldn't tell me I wasn't high steppin! Let's not forget, he was a rapper too! Singing: Must be the monaaay!
He was named the NFL's Defensive Player of the Year. Sanders won two Super Bowls during his career. He started at right cornerback for the 49ers in their 49-26 victory over the San Diego Chargers in Super Bowl XXIX and at left cornerback in the Cowboys 27-17 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers in Super Bowl XXX.
The only time the world saw 49ers coach George Seifert crack a smile was when he decided to let Deion Sanders play WR at the end of a game that San Francisco was winning. Deion ran a fly and just barely missed catching a TD pass. The next season, Deion was signed by Dallas, and played both CB and WR.
He won a Super Bowl with the 9ers then again the very next year with the Cowboys. He was also a beast in the basketball court in high school...two state championships.
He use bait the QBs letting them think WR was open then jump the routes. Legend has it Deion ran one time at the combine ran so fast kept going and didn’t picked his stuff left and didn’t say anything to anybody then left the building into a limo
When people say Prime was a top 5 player, this is why: he literally shut down _his entire side of the field_ every play he was in the game. Like, it got to the point where QBs straight up didn't throw his way. He was also super skilled at baiting the QB into making a throw by _faking_ a misread which he would then immediately "recover" from... he was so fast he'd still beat the receiver to the ball.
deion won the superbowl with the 49ers after they grabbed him, beating out the cowboys in the conference championship. Jerry jones said they wouldve won with deion, so he traded to get him on the cowboys. the cowboys WON THE SUPERBOWL THAT NEXT YEAR as soon as they grabbed him. bakc to back with 2 teams being a STUD. dudes a legend
Deion got back to back Super Bowls. One with the 49ers then the next year with the cowboys. And yeah he played offense, defense, kick return and punt return in the games. On top of the he played in the mlb as well. Played in a braves games in the series took a chopper across town and played in a falcons game right after.
The greatest never be another like ever in this lifetime.... Amazing grew up with him Jordan Barry Sanders Bo Jackson just so many. 80s n 90z was beyond nutts
The greatest pick--6 threat of any DB in NFL history. Offenses literally did not throw his way some games...he got bored and that's when they began to use him on offense.
He came to Cincinnati when I was in the 10th grade. He was across the street in Swifton Commons inside the radio station, rapping. He had song called "Must Be The Money" lol
After he built his reputation they wouldnt throw it to his side of the field ever or his numbers would be even more insane. He was also in a dunk contest one time.
Neion Deion Sanders singled handedly won the 49ers a superbowl and then went to Dallas and won them a superbowl the next year..he was the difference...
Deion Sanders was so good. That in the Super Bowl, they refused to throw his side. So they had to throw to the other side. That other corner got Super Bowl MVP! Let that sink in.
Only player to get a home run in the MLB and a touchdown in the NFL in the same week!

Also the only player to play in a Super Bowl and a World Series.
The era I would watch the entire football game. Football was exciting.
When they get into RBs they gotta do Earl Campbell, Adrian Peterson and LaDainian Tomlinson too.
@@MegiddoTheImmaculate Can't argue that. Hall of Famers never fail to entertain.
Gayle Sayers
I have seen interviews where the coaches said that they told their QB'S try to throw to a receiver not covered by Deion Sanders. That's why Pime is one of the greatest. 😁. Check out Barry Sanders next.
I love Deion, and it's great to watch you young cats watch some older highlights. I truly enjoy your reactions. I think you should check out Reggie Bush USC highlights.
We haven't seen anybody else like him yet. The 🐐
There's an NFL story about D Sanders at the combine. He ran something like a 4.2 or 4.1 in a gold chain ,jeans ,and sweatshirt. I believe it was coach bill parcels and Sean Payton who were checking to see if there stop watch was broken.
Guys!!! I love your channel and was going to share to my Ms. and La. friends, We love our state!
BARRY SANDERS!!!!!!!!! Amazing highlight film!!!
He was highly recruited for basketball as well, averaged almost 30 point a game with a 38 inch vertical leap
The only guy to score a TD in the NFL and hit a home run in the MLB all in the same day.
You're right the best highlight film I've seen.
Love Deion! Go Noles!!! Check out his story about the NFL Combine.
As a returner he was amazing... and once he got in the open field forget about it
Deion is my idol. He would have gotten world series MVP if braves would have won. He hit 500. In the world series
No chance he would have. John Smoltz or Glavine was winning it had they won the WS. Glavine was basically spotless that series.
I remember seeing him live in the ATL. You could see him setting he quarterbacks up. he's so much faster than anyone I've ever seen in person
Y’all need to do “It’s Always sunny in Philadelphia”
them sunny days down here in PHILLY are gone
Funniest show there is. Maybe Curb Your Enthusiasm is tied with it.
Deion was the man fellas, just a superstar ATHLETE 🏈⚾️
Deion Sanders played in the NHL too. Played in 3 different professional leagues, 3 different sports
Wait really? WTF how did he even have his body conditioned to play all these sports at the same time damn
@@djoseph5130 I have no idea man. I remember being a kid and thinking he was the coolest man in the world
@@a.d.9872 damn man, he was a freaking machine. 😂 Fr that's why I love these old videos man because as fans I feel like it's important to go back and look at some of the guys who had huge impacts on all our sports
You are joking, right?
Do Barry Sanders ...the GOAT 🐐 running back
Nah Jim Brown is the GOAT
One of my favorite teams was the Falcons during the late-80s & early-90s. Deion & Andre Rison were a ton of fun to watch. That offense was sick.
You guys need to react to Bo Jackson.......he was the most amazing college/pro football player, and a damn amazing baseball player. He was just from another planet. If he had not gotten hurt, I think he may have been considered the best athlete to ever play football or baseball.
Deon is one of the best. He's my favorite player when I was a kid
Love to see you do a reaction from the NBA called The Malice At The Palace.
I was thinking this the other day!
After watching Barry there’s no one else to see . Barry was and is still the best running back of all time , the GOAT 🐐 !
Y'all need to watch Barry Sanders career highlights they better than Deion honestly
A rare blend of substance and style.
Deion ALSO played basketball lol
Man is the GOAT.
Those kids are so lucky to have him as there coach
to see hime live was amazing!!
Fred Taylor has some dope highlights. He was a homerun threat every touch fr.
Now yall see why he makes such a great coach, hell his experience covers offense, defense and special teams.
I got a pair of Deions for my bday in '94 & you couldn't tell me I wasn't high steppin! Let's not forget, he was a rapper too! Singing: Must be the monaaay!
In high school. He was like Jordan. Seriously. Mike Irvin and deion were incredible basketball players back in the day.
Niners Baby. Prime Time! Dion Sanders was one of the best football players period!
He is a once in a lifetime type of athlete.
Loved watching Deion
deion won the superbowl with the 49ers after they grabbed him, beating out the cowboys in the conference championship.
I played against him when I played at UM. The guy was an absolute beast.
Tell us more... 🙂I'm listening bro.
Rod Woodson is the best at it.
He came to Cincinnati when I was in the 10th grade. He was across the street in Swifton Commons inside the radio station, rapping. He had song called "Must Be The Money" lol
Super Bowl with the 49ers and was DPOY in 94/95. His whole 49er season was amazing.
Right!!!
Both Bo's and Deion's college highlights were absolutely ridiculous.
After he built his reputation they wouldnt throw it to his side of the field ever or his numbers would be even more insane. He was also in a dunk contest one time.
Enjoyed watching
Neion Deion Sanders singled handedly won the 49ers a superbowl and then went to Dallas and won them a superbowl the next year..he was the difference...
Only guy to play in a Super Bowl and World Series. Dude was nuts.
With all do respect, it good to see y’all changed the poster on the wall. 👍🏼
Did not care what team he played FUN to watch.Complete player
His baseball highlights were dope too.
Only man to play in a World Series and a Super Bowl. And if the Braves win he's probably MVP of said World Series.
Sanders was so good at kick returns, the opposition would not kick to him out of fear of a return for a touchdown.
Deion and Bo. Bo and Deion. Wow, did we get a show at that time. Who of the two was faster? Yes.
deion's recent videos here on youtube filmed by his son as he takes over as HC at Univ of Colorado is some inspiring stuff.
Deon was a beast. In all sports. Including basketball.
Deion Sanders was so good. That in the Super Bowl, they refused to throw his side. So they had to throw to the other side. That other corner got Super Bowl MVP! Let that sink in.
Prime won a Super Bowl with the 49ers and the Cowboys. Also hit a homerun in a world series game after playing an NFL game.
