@@curtisclayton8023 That's how I feel about Barry. Even when he would dice us up you could not help but love his skill and the fact Barry is so cool off the field made him one of my favorite backs to this day.
I still can't believe how good he was in that era at that size. Athletic, intelligent and tenacious! Aaron Donald is undersized but just as strong as larger tackles.
As a Packers lifer, of all the absolute legends that wore the Purple - All Day, CC, Moss etc etc.. John Randall was my favourite to watch (this interview made him even more awesome in my eyes) What a Legendary character!!!
John Randle is my favorite player of all time. As a kid in MN, he was also the reason I started playing football. For a kid looking for a superhero, John was that guy.
John always had the most energy on the field. I can see he’s still got it. What an entertaining dude. Love that he still lives in MN. A lot of guys come and never leave. Skol!
Im wearing my Randle jersey watching this. Hes my fave Viking of all time. You know he's a converted Minnesotan by how proud he is of all things Minnesota. Its a very Minnesota thing to brag about Lifetime Fitness starting here or any other Minnesota thing being bragged about is a very Minnesota thing. We are proud of our shit here.
Lots of big corporations are from Minnesota like Target Best Buy 3M General Mills Mayo Clinic etc. Minnesota is truly blessed and if it wasn’t so cold in the winter it would’ve been top 5 in the US
I’m from California but I went to Minn st Mankato to play football in 07. It was the first time I saw and had Buffalo Wild Wings. First time I ever saw or had chipotle. And first time seeing Jimmy John’s. Minnesota was cool.
This is the best thing I've seen all year! My favorite Viking, just being awesomely honest, as a Vikings tattooed fan, and a Marine Corps Vet, I got nothing but love for all 3 of you gentlemen!❤❤❤
Grew up in North Dakota Vikings football was my home team. Randle was HIM and if you’ve never seen him chase a chicken wearing a Favre jersey, it is must see content.
I came to the comments before starting this and thought comments like this meant “I really enjoyed it and want to show them love.” Only took about 10-15 min for me to understand. F*** personal feelings about it or having love the show - this legitimately is the best football talk I’ve ever seen because I can’t even think of another example that went bell to bell like this. 😅
oh my god...this one might be my favorite so far...John Randle was all anyone could talk about when he was playing. Legend. His eye black he drew down his face too...loved it.
The way y’all breakdown the emotional/mental parts of the game, in a way that isn’t forced, makes this podcast enjoyable for ppl like me who don’t watch sports.
Great show mad LOVE for Randle in MN he is a great guy! Thanks for all the great years Johnny 93 six footers for life! These shows definitely need to be uncensored
I moved from Chicago to Cheney, WA and was blessed with Seahawks training camp at EWU. Getting John Randle's and Ricky Waters' autograph at 9, made me a lifetime Seahawks fan.
When we were kids my dad had season tickets for Notre Dame games, I remember being stoked getting Ricky Watters autograph after the Blue and Gold game.
Man this dude was a ANIMAL on the football field, John Randle 6'1 260-265 Defensive Tackle, Quarterback's hated seeing him in their face, he hyped himself up and talked trash to all the offensive lineman, 130+ sacks in his career at DT!
This has to be the GREATEST podcast segment of all time! Watched it several times and laughed hard every single time. Thanks and keep it going with great guest like this.
man thanks for this! seeing these larger than life athletes off the field and how much they enjoyed the journey is such a pleasure on top of their careers. most folks dont get the chance to ever sit down with these guys and just listen to how they carry themselves during different eras of the game. this generation is blessed to have so many yall educate us on the history and personalities we might not ever have gotten to see!
Bruh I haven't laughed this hard in a minute!! This was one of the best episodes I have ever watched. This podcast is so underrated and I promise you by the end of the year it will be up near the top. Big shout out to Mike Rob and BeastMode 💯.
Wow! That was good! Real Good! OK is it just me or could John Randle do stand up up?!?! I'm imagining him describing a trip to the produce section at the grocery store. Or a Nick Walker barber when he still had hair. Come on, John, you are talented!
It's hard to beat the dirty handshake, but The Time He Got Got by Larry Centers was the perfect ending. Excellent episode with the King of Junkyard DAWGS.
For those that don’t know, John Randle was the first dominate undersized D-Lineman. He was 5’11 playing at DE before the moved him to D-Tackle. Bruh had a MOTOR like no one else. I studied this man’s game tape when I was in HS/College and I always wanted my game to be just like Mr. Randle’s. #LEGENDARY
OMG! Best damn interview ever. Again love the chemistry and show. I'm a big ass fan! Love the hands down the pants and not taking a shower. Keep - keep'n real.
