- Let's compare Hennessy & Courvoisier and see which drink we can switch to, if all else fails. We are still in the midst of this pandemic and Hennessy's prices are rising. But let's try to relax, have a little fun and pray all will be well again. Ms. Sunshine and I will compare the two drinks, both neat and on the rocks. These two Brandys are made from the same types of grapes, in the same town in France (Cognac) distilled the same way. In order to distinguish between the two you need to bring an expert especially one who can tell about taste, spice and aroma. Picking a girl in bar who disgrace the drink by suggesting to add orange juice just doesn't cut it. You guys need to stick with ripple and thunderbird.

Courvoisier is garbage compared to Hennessy Hennessy is number one courvoisier is more like Christian Brothers
The difference is really not that much. Hennessey is a bit smoother than Courvoisier but I would not compare the brand to Christian brothers. Be fair.
agreed .. i am collector for over 20 years . Hennessey is far better. but on the higher level they are some Courvoisier that beats Hennessey
