@@2bituser569 right. I didn't mention that bit. Thanks. They probably had various preprogrammed orders for various purposes. I don't know much about it.
You can basically make a longer version of it by watching it back to back with the end of the 2003 clone ways series, and by inserting scenes from season 7 of the clone wars as well as all the deleted scenes (that were actually finished)
I think that was Luminara Unduli. We know that she fought on Kashyyk even in the theatrical release as we see her on the beach. Bariss was in prison if not executed by this stage.
Actually that's really Bariss, since she was Luminara's padawan, and at that point she was fighting besides her master in Kashyyyk. The plot where she's responsible for the bombing didn't exist yet. Btw Luminara is at the beach and in the last scene we can see Yoda watching when the clones turn on her (even if the new canon says that she survived that first encounter)
Man, I wish they kept these scenes as well as an extended attack on the Jedi Temple. I know someone who feels ROTS should have been two movies with the first part ending after Obi-Wan leaves for Utapau. I like that idea. Originally, Lucas intended Episode 1 to be a prologue, then Episodes 2-4 would have been a Clone Wars Trilogy, then Episode 5 would have been an Epilogue/Prologue to the Clone Wars/Original Trilogy respectively with the Original Trilogy being Episodes 6-8. I sooo wish Lucas had stuck to that plan. It would have given plot points in AOTC and ROTS more room to breathe.
@necrom002 I know back when the original movie where being made it was originally starwars, then when five was made, it became episodes 4 5 6. The counter to that is Lucus had so so much written, wouldn't be surprised if he was talked into cutting it down.
This is interesting, I wish in the movie they cut to sidious's face while the Jedi are being killed, like they did when they were showing yoda sensing it and feeling sad. but show palatine smiling. I think little detail like that would've made it a little more dark
I like the idea that the clones didn’t need the inhibitor chips, the whole idea takes the choice away for them and we all know they were brainwashed and conditioned to follow the Republic and Chancellor’s orders
The only reason why they made the chip thing is to make more tragic the whole event and forcing the clones that made a strong bond with their commanders kill them so they dont make a plot hole with the surviving jedi
While interesting, it raises more questions than answers. The ordinary clone might turn on the Jedi, but many are depicted as respectful and compassionate The Clone Wars. Unlikely their soldiers would turn on them, and I wouldn't trade that for the Legends explanation.
@@godofthecripples1237I think that's why they introduced it in the clone wars. Before that though, the only way the clones were shown to us from the movies was just as nothing more than obedient soldiers. If you watch it without the clone wars, it makes the scene kinda terrifying, by thinking that these guys that fought alongside jedis for so long were aware of what their goal ultimately was and wouldn't even hesitate to do it just to obey their master.
