  • I am not including this version in the 4.5 Hour Revenge of the Sith Cut, HOWEVER... I decided to attempt to make my own version of an Extended Order 66 sequence using parts of each of the live action sequences from Revenge of the Sith, Kenobi, The Clone Wars, The Bad Batch, and The Mandalorian Season 3 Chapter 20, using bits of all scenes released so far. Unlike other cuts, my goal is to use all John Williams Themes and motifs only here, keeping as much of the original score intact as possible.
Unfortunately, what you quickly realize is to edit this in a professional manner, several scenes from each sequence must be dropped, or else they interfere with the storytelling and atmosphere of the entire event. This is why I do not intend to use this version in the actual cut, because it removes the focus from the main cast of characters only to add some extras and cameos in that don't add to the story in much of a unique way.
Also, because of content ID, I cut a few bits out so the upload would be allowed, namely part of the battle of Utupau and Padme's crying shot and part of Bail landing at the Temple. On tiktok and Instagram, I have uncut versions sitting there.
Still, as an experiment to see what a cut like this would be like, enjoy. I do like how it came out, none-the-less.
The Following Footage is included in this Fan Edit:
    - All of Revenge of the Sith film, save a very small number of shots.
    - A Brand new Rewritten Opening Crawl for the Supercut
    - 21 Minutes of the 2k3 Clone Wars Battle of Coruscant, recut to fit within the timeline and enhanced in with a new 4K HDR transfer.
    - All 4 Episodes of the Siege of Mandalore Clone Wars Season 7 finale arc, recut seamlessly into the events of Revenge of the Sith in roughly chronological order.
    - 5 Restored Deleted Scenes (and one new partially restored scene) - Newly AI Upscaled and Improved over the previous releases, just like the Episode I and II Extended Cuts
    - The Restored 20th Century Fox Opening, matching the versions used in my other cuts.
The Total Runtime for the Cut is 4 Hours, 19 Minutes and 10 seconds.
Transitions have been tweaked and updated, both audio and video. At this point there are not any more refinements/tweaks I wish to do. I want this to remain the final version for the forseeable future unless a better quality (8K, for example) source for ROTS/Clone Wars is ever made available, or unless some element of the Kenobi/Ahsoka series truly belongs in this cut, but I find that to be unlikely. Frankly, I want this to be the best damned Star Wars film you've seen.
I will not be doing a version without the 2K3 series, or a version of ROTS Extended with only Deleted Scenes. There are other editors who have tackled those projects over the years. I have good reasons to include the footage I have chosen, as has been described in the previous ROTS release videos.
Footage from Bad Batch and Jedi Fallen Order are not included in the main film edit. I stand by my statements that they work much better in their respective original titles, especially since the Bad Batch Order 66 events are meant to be seen from their rather unique POV. I have also decided to keep the TCW final scene in its current placement. No Post Credits Scene in a Skywalker Saga film.

On tiktok and Instagram, I have uncut versions sitting there. Game Content is also deliberately not included in this cut because of their interactive nature, including both old EU scenes and new canon game scenes. They just don't work the same way and lose major emotional weight when you cut them down. Please be respectful about this choice.

@@chopper39405 Jedi committed treason. Is that enough to justify a genocide against every Jedi? Including Jedi who weren’t even at the temple or even knew about palpatine being a sith? Yes the Jedi did attempt the genocide against the sith but sith are equally as bad if not worse. The sith use slavery, hostages, and attack civilians without any real reason. The Jedi and republic did have their fair share of war crimes and faults, but they are no more than what the sith have done for thousands of years. The Jedi had compassion for their citizens and their soldiers. Order 66 wasn’t a back up plan in case the Jedi tried to overthrow palpatine, it was an order of genocide by a Sith Lord who started the clone wars and all the tragic events after it. While the Jedi certainly aren’t perfect representatives of peace, they are definitely better people of good moral values than the sith.

@@thedetectove That is, in your opinion, the second in command of the Jedi, who essentially controls the Jedi Order, accompanied by 3 strong masters, attack the office of the Chancellor of the Republic and this cannot be considered as an attempt to overthrow the power of the Republic by the highest leadership of the Jedi, this is not a reason to believe that the Jedi Order has gone against the interests of the republic?
During the times of the empire, when the Sith ruled, that is, Darth Sidious and Darth Vader, life was better in the empire than under the republic, new and old. In the empire, slavery, piracy and many other problems were eradicated, in the empire the government tried to create a stable state, life was better in the empire. Yes, this rule was at the expense of military power, yes, the Empire committed genocide to many races that destabilized the situation in the empire and disrupted its order, but at the same time, the planets were even allowed to have an independent policy, have an army, planetary shields and even a fleet, as well as much more.
But then the time came and the Jedi rebelled again, and the situation in the galaxy again became destabilized, after which more races that openly supported the rebels were subjected to genocide. As a result, after the victory of the Jedi, complete chaos ensued in the galaxy, and after that another war.
If it weren't for the Jedi, the empire's structure could have lasted for centuries and developed life in the galaxy, the empire could have become the best state that has ever existed. Yes, this was achieved by various “wrong” methods, intimidation and genocide of unwanted races, but this ultimately led the empire to prosperity, to the prosperity of life in it.
What happened to the Republic before the Clone War, or after? Constant conflicts, piracy, slavery, corruption, intrigue in the Senate, enormous poverty, and much more.

But little did they know that he was too far gone, and being "Master Skywalker" did not matter to him anymore, and they unfortunately would perish despite trusting him and having hope that he would be their savior.

Then Chewie's death in Yuuzhan Vong War happens and Han basically blames his youngest son Anakin Solo for it and never considered to forgive him until he died...... But hey, they named a starship after him so thats forgiveness right?
Then the thing with Lumiya and Jacen Solo becoming Darth Caedus. So much for Anakin bringing the balance in the Force on that front........
And finally, the issue of Darth Krayt destroying everything Luke and his allies built in the future.....all because Obi Wan apparently left him to die........

Not certainly in that way. Anakin was introduced to the rank of knights and had a Padawan, which means he was also a Jedi Master. It can also be attributed to the fact that five-year-old children are unlikely to particularly understand ranks; they know that Skywalker is a famous Jedi general, well, ok, that means a master. Order 66 is one of the most dramatic events of this franchise because of its cold brutality. The "Kenobi" series was just to get favorite characters on screen again in a very awkward and clumsy way. They were afraid of telling a new story even though they created an amazing one with Reva, being one of the very few survivors of the event at a galactic level (and one of the few who know Vader's true identity), and how it traumatized and broke her, from her perspective, driven by contempt and rage to the dark side herself for Skywalker's betrayal of everything he worked for. That series should have been about her, focused on her and her eventual tragedy. They had a killer story and they buried it under the hype for Ewan and Hayden together again because Hollywood just wants to rehash the same characters over and over again, only to show Anakin and Kenobi KEEP MAKING THE SAME CHOICES and THE SAME MISTAKES they already made before.

This is just an absolutely PERFECT montage of Order 66! I just wish Kal’s assault was included on top of the rest. This is SO well done! Everything from how the clips are cut to where the music is placed is perfect Imagine how it would have gone if the Jedi discreetly added in Ahsoka-style training e.g. the training Anakin put her through. Imagine if half the Jedi in the temple survived and all the clone troopers were lost, Anakin captured by the surviving Jedi. Always fun to explore alternative outcomes. Can we talk about how the Jedi knight or Master protecting the younglings was absolutely nasty with it? She did her very best until the end. RIP. IMO it only really hit home when you see Rex turning on Ahsoka. Their relationship was very well established up to the point that the Order 66 scene was shown on TCW. Really well put together with the editing to preserve the score A domino saved Ahsoka. Another one was part of the squad that saved Caleb. The dominos were good soldiers This is why Darth Sidious was the most unique Sith Lord in all the lore. No one in galactic history had ever wiped out the Jedi, some were extremely close but never for this long and not on this scale. Even the few who were stronger than Darth Sidious, never accomplished destroying the Jedi. Yoda sensing order 66 is very important as he’s the only one who senses the entire execution of the Jedi plus it’s a cool scene, but the entire edit is amazing one of the best I’ve seen I think you should revise slightly For those who don’t know, the clone standing next to Commander Gree at 4:43 is Jek from Clone Wars This was so well done. I do wish you still included Yoda dropping his cane and sensing the betrayal galaxy-wide here at 3:34 And Padme and C3P0 as well as the wide shot of the Jedi Temple smoking as Bail arrives. At 5:25 Nonetheless, Bravo! Very well done. Do you also have the link for the 4K ROTS Edit? With how Disney portrays Jedi deflecting blaster fire, no wonder Order 66 was so effective.
I remember watching Clones Wars finale order 66 high af and it felt so dramatic & riveting. The music, after Ahsoka escaped & Rex was giving orders around the table to find her & was so suspenseful. What a moment!!! This is awesome, and also heartbreaking. Ashoka was insane I can't believe she managed to survive that. You did an amazing job! It had me in tears, so sad. The saddest part was when Rex turned against Ahsoka A lot of moments in SW get me but.... in Bad Batch when they show Order 66 and the Clones are repeating "Good soldiers follow orders" actually makes me sad. Right after this ended I immediately subscribed. I seriously am in awe of this. This movie, franchise has been such an important part of my childhood, my life. I had all of the Toys as a kid in the 70's. Then they were given away, and I started over again. After the Return of the Jedi I began buying the books. I now have over 100+ paperbacks, and 15-20 hardcovers. As well as well over 300+ figures. Probably closer to 500. There are so many interesting and fascinating parts that took place in between the prequel movies, as well as during Revenge of the Sith as well. This did a phenomenal job of bridging some of the gaps. Again thank you for sharing this with us. Ahsoka's part has never been "seen" and this did again a phenomenal job of it. Basically I could sit through 5-10 hours of content like this showing us things that we weren't able to see. Out of 5 stars you get ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ TEN!
