Eh give me Mara Jade any day.....the original and only other Sith besides Vader under the Emperor's command. I personally think Disney did a large disservice to the lore by introducing the Inquisitors. The reason why the Sith started only having One Apprentice to One Master is because they realized with many Apprentices they could join forces and attempt to overwhelm the Master in their bid for more Power. With Palpatine/Darth Sidious he couldn't exactly hamper Anakin's/Darth Vader's training as he already had enough knowledge from his time as a Jedi to be a true Threat to Sideous, it was generally the continued flaws Sideous kept building into Vader's suit that kept him manageable. Yes you heard me right, Darth Sideous purposefully built flaws in Vader's prosthetics and suits to try to hamper him, causing him unremitting pain and limiting his abilities and movement. Mara Jade however was different......
Mara Jade was an Imperial Operative that was deeply Force Sensitive, Sideous had found her during her training in the Imperial Academy and recognized her abilities. Sideous was then able to strictly control her training and limit her knowledge giving her only just enough to be a threat to the normal beings, but never a true threat to him. Sideous knew Darth Vader would never share any knowledge with Mara Jade, and thus Sideous could regulate and control her far more easily. Thus you had Darth Vader being the Right hand of the Emperor for when brute force and Shock and Awe tactics were needed to complete tasks, and you had Mara Jade the Left Hand of the Emperor when covert discretion was required.......

@@Ami-vh7sr I think the Inquisitorius is well handled under Disney Canon. You have a branch which serves its duties well and still has a hint of anonymity in the Galaxy - just how Vader desired it to be.
@@AshanBhatoa My issue is that it undercuts the reasoning as to why Emperor Palpatine ordered the death of all the Jedi including the Younglings. Emperor Palpatine like any other Sith fears one thing above all else, losing their power. The Sith believed that if you had multiple Apprentices they would eventually conspire together to kill their Master in order to becomes Masters themselves, which is how Sith work. If this was not the case there would have been no point in killing off the Jedi Younglings, as they would have been very easy to corrupt due to their youth. With the Inquisitorious Disney created basically the VERY thing Emperor Palpatine would have ultimately feared.....

Because inquisitors were meant to look much more complex and shit, at least imo. Darth vader and kylo didn't go all out with red visors and empire logos every where. In pretty sure it was just an intimidation tactic, and so they stand out and aren't mistaken for sith.

Interesting. There wasn't any deception when she told Cal of her former master's betrayal and abandonment. And the expressions on her face, it looked as if she was legitimately concerned the same thing was going to happen to Cal.
And then when he grabbed her lightsaber and told him it had been through hell, it looked like she legitimately did not want him to see the horrors that his psychometry would reveal.
There was still light in Trilla, albeit very subdued and barely a flicker. But it was there. Otherwise she would never have been able to let go of her hate and turn the darkness away before she was killed far too soon by Vader.
I wish she had survived after her redemption.

Her very early conversations with Cal served but one purpose. To give him a chance. That is an indication that she (1) saw enough of his fighting prowess to know he earned it and (2) she truly had just a little bit of light spark left in her.
The problem with the dark side is that sooner or later, even the darkest Sith just says "$%^& it" and rolls with it and ends up whether intentionally or not having actions that play out in the favor of the light side.

Won't lie, when I started Rebels, I thought the concept of Inquisitors seemed forced (given that they were never mentioned before or after inter-war period), but thanks to later seasons and Fallen Order, they've really grown on me.
The best agents are the ones whose agency isn't even known by most
Honestly the only Inquisitors I enjoy are the Grand Inquisitor, Trilla (Second Sister), and the Ninth Sister
And in this game, hearing how the Inquisitors became the emotionless monsters they are is so tragic, especially in Trilla's case.
It worth a mention that the Inquisitors (presumably) all died off by the time of ANH.

Thrawn is one of the rare nonhuman Imperial Officers and the only nonhuman Grand Admiral

@@christophersanchez7731 The Inquisitors didn't exist in the Expanded Universe.....and there's a reason for that. Emperor Palpatine/Darth Sideous wouldn't suffer Multiple Sith/Dark Jedi, because in such a situation they might conspire together to kill their Master. In the Expanded Universe there was only Darth Vader and Mara Jade, Sideous was able to keep Vader in line by continuously building flaws into Vader's Prosthetics and Suit to hamper his ability and with Mara Jade it is because the only training she would get was from him so Sideous could keep Mara Jade from becoming too strong to be a threat.
The Inquisitorious for me was a horrible thing for Disney to push upon the Empire and Star Wars, because in making them Disney made the very thing Sideous would have ultimately feared.

Trilla is probably one of my favorite characters from modern Star Wars. Great design and very well executed all around and I haven't even played the game.

Jordie Ann Basically no Jedi nor Sith were ever seen turning off a lightsaber mid duel to get out of a lightsaber lock.
at least in legends the technique has existed for a long time , it's called Trakata. where one uses the lightsabers ability to turn on and off to slip past their opponent's defenses. It was extremely rare to use however, the Jedi didn't use it because they considered such techniques a form of deception and the Sith were to passionate and arrogant in combat to use such a technique that required tactical and level-headed thinking.

I think she only keeps it off when she is fighting Cal. I think the helmet is made to make her seem intimidating, however it's pretty impractical in a fight.

It’s a force skill that allows the user to detect force echoes in objects and is pretty rare. I forgot what it’s called but it’s mentioned in the game. Quinlan Voss had the skill in Legends, he would use it for tracking and it was noted that if the person was dead or experienced major trauma, it messed with him
