  • This is why i love HOME FREE so much, they have the ability to take older songs, put new spins on them and then add their own little acapella sprinkle to it and it just kills. It's been a while since i've done a home free video and im sorry for that but in my defense there has been soo much good music dropping its hard to get everything done that i'd like to. If you enjoyed my reaction please tap that LIKE and SUBSCRIBE. Thanks for watching, love you guys and gals. See you in the next one.

Tim and Chance did a beautiful job on this song. The harmonies is beautiful. When Tim hit the high note i loved it. Tim hit the low bass. I like your reactions on Home Free YOUR MAN. 😊❤❤❤❤❤❤

Firstly, their video for Mayday starts with Tim taking the tenor lead and Chance going the low bass. On February 14, 2024 a video dropped titled Home Free - Your Man (Live). This was the first time they done this song and until this one here it had the mildest reaction from the guys on Tim's high note. There are several times where Rob and Austin would get in Tim's face about going up in "their territory" during shows -- see #SingOffTour and Crazy Life Tour for great examples. But the best one IMO is from the 27 minute 'Home Free Concert Morrison, IL 8/19/15'. For a reaction start about 6:50 for a bit of Tim's talking with a audience member and posing for a picture before they start Your Man. This one has a consequence that is second only to their video (taken from another live show) titles Home Free Falls and right up there with Guilty Pleasures Derailed.

Tim was just showing off some of his 5 octave range for ya. Chance can’t go as low as Tim but almost. Love the looks from the boys when Tim went high! When they do this live Tim goes really low and has fun with the audience. 🥰😄

That was such a great remake of this song! Nice to hear Chance singing some of the lines. Always loved Tim's crazy low notes along with his fabulous highs. Also love Adam's cool percussion sounds in this version too.
There are some older live versions of this song that are very funny.

Tim has a 5+ octave range
You got most names right Tim, Chance , Adam, Rob and Austin
They are releasing 2 more videos that will have Austin in them.
Austin has left the group a lot earlier than expected and Adam Bastien Aka Bastien ( Bass teen ) has taken his place.
Bastien used to sub for one of the tenors when Home Free first started and also was a member of Chris Rupp's group 7th Ave
Bastien did his first concert with Home Free at the Country Rumble Fest in Lima,Ohio June 21 and The Grand Ol Opry June 22 and he did amazing
They now have 3 Adam’s in the group so they opted to be called by last names less confusing that way.
They filmed a video in Nashville with Bastien now we wait for it to be released.
Home also released a welcome video it on RUclips now called Adam Bastien’s First Weekend.

I like this version better than the first version of Home Free, although I loved that one too! But Chance brings so much more value to this for me. The combination of Tim and Chance is simply amazing! Oh and of course the background vocals and beatboxing are what really complete it

Great reaction, man. While both Tim and Chance are bass, they are both so different. Tim has more of a classic country bass, while Chance's is something smoky out of the bayou. Tim's bass will blow your pants off. Chance's bass will drop your panties. Also, the faces Chance, Austin and Adam made after Tim's insane run... priceless.

Your face at Tim's high notes fit right into Austin's, Chance's and Rupp's 🤣. Love both his highs and lows. And Chance can go quite low, too, though Tim can technically go lower, his lowest notes are practically never used that there is not much difference in the end. They are both amazing bass singers.
And the names will get more confusing, soon, as only Tim and Rob will have unique to the group first names. Austin has left the group by now (but there will be at least one more video with him in it) and the new guy's name is Adam as well. All three go by their last name, now (Rupp, Chance and Bastien).

Y'all gotta check out Tim's mashup of Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow/Stay. Nothing else like it. He really does have a 5-octave range.

And...another one falls down the rabbit hole. You are so doomed. We’ll save you a chair.
You’re about to be buried in Home Fries. Brace yourself.
Home Free is the only country a capella group out there, but they can - and do - sing every genre. And they have no lead singer. Every one of these men can take the lead, and they pick the lead for each song by who does it the most justice. During quarantine, they kept all us Home Fries sane by dropping new videos every couple of weeks while they were scattered across the country. God bless ‘em.
All the men can beat box, but Adam is in a league of his own. He’s a world-class vocal percussionist and there’re good reasons he’s called a “Freak of Nature” and “the man who swallowed a drum kit.” For more of Adam’s incredible beat boxing, check out Sea Shanty medley (the man makes castanets, for Pete’s sake), his no-monica solo on Working For A Living and Ain’t Going Down Til The Sun Comes Up (that video is on Facebook), Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer (sleigh bells? seriously?) or his drum solos.
For more of Tim’s seismic basso profundo, listen to Brothers In Arms, Misty Mountains (his collaboration with Peter Hollens), Folsom Prison Blues, or Ring Of Fire (the Sing Off version). This man’s range is incredible. You won’t want to miss his 5-octave run in 5 seconds in “Do You Hear What I Hear?” Tim also has a solo channel which you can view at www.timfoustmusic.com
For Chance’s smooth baritone/bass, check out Skull & Bones, Down to the Honky Tonk, Brothers In Arms, Cover Me Up, I Can’t Outrun You, and Folsom Prison Blues. (Awesome... a basso profundo and a baritone/bass in the same group.) FYI, Chance is singing (throat singing) the jaw harp sounds - without the jaw harp - in Man Of Constant Sorrow. Adam was formerly a member of Street Corner Serenade from 2010 - 2016 before joining Home Free in 2016 after the departure of co-founder Chris Rupp. You can find his solo work and collaborations at www.theadamchance.com
For Rob’s soulful tenor, check out End of the Road, Blue Ain’t Your Color, or Bless The Broken Road. (Blue-eyed soul is in good hands with The Beard.) One Home Fry has described him as the vocal equivalent of a Swiss Army knife because of his versatility. Just wait until you hear him whistle! Rob and his friend Buegs host a podcast called “The Avid Indoorsmen” where they review movies, etc. You’ll find Buegs’ cameo in the Home Free video “The Butts Remix.” He’s wearing overalls. Don’t worry - you can’t miss him. You can check out their podcast at www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-avid-indoorsmen--3265024
For Austin’s soaring tenor, check out Crazy, Moonshine, When A Man Loves a Woman, or Bring Him Home. (But bolt down your chair ‘cause he’ll sing you right out of it.) Austin left HF in June 2024. He’s newly married, and hasn’t been at home for Christmas in ten years due to Home Free’s heavy touring schedule. There are hundreds of videos with him, though, so you’ll still run into his work. You can also check out his solo work at www.austinbrownmusic.com
Adam Bastien stepped into Austin’s tenor spot in June 2024. He’s currently on tour with HF, but we haven’t had a chance to see him in any videos yet. Home Free introduced him right, though. He debuted at the Grand Ole Opry with the Home Free men on June 22, 2024.
So, yeah. Three of the five members of Home Free are named Adam. You’ll hear them referred to as “Chance,” “Bastien,” and “Rupp.” If they’re just using the name Adam, they’re talking about Adam Rupp, vocal percussionist extraordinaire.
For their humor, check out Butts Remix, Working For A Living, Life Is A Highway, Between A Rock And A Heartache, Make You Feel My Love, Brother, and Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget (The older video. Tim wrote the worst country song he could think of, and it remains one of their most requested.) A word about “Brother” - if you want to hear the lyrics, you’re going to have to listen with your eyes closed, ‘cause otherwise you’ll never get past the humor of the video to actually hear what they’re singing.
For their amazing arrangement skills, check out Do You Hear What I Hear. (Adam’s arrangement. Nothing else like it.)
For their tight harmonies, check out Helplessly Hoping, How Great Thou Art, Brothers In Arms, or Auld Lang Syne.
For their mashups, check out Thinking Out Loud/Let’s Get It On, Fishing in the Dark/Boondocks, Country Fried Pop, or Woman, Amen/Female.
The Home Free men are masters of collaborations. They put the spotlight on their collaborator, supporting them with wonderful vocals and amazing harmonies. Check out God Bless the USA with Lee Greenwood, American Pie and Vincent with Don McLean, Elvira with The Oak Ridge Boys, Children Go Where I Send Thee with the late Kenny Rogers, Don’t Laugh At Me with Mark Wills, Christmas In Dixie with Alabama, Delta Dawn with Brooke Eden, or Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For with Peter Hollens.
Get at least five videos under your belt and then listen to Mayday - the official video. After Mayday, you’ll be ready for Tim and Austin doing My Maria or Tim’s mashup of Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow/Stay.
Then, when you come up for air, check out Rob’s and Austin’s “Two Country Singers Try Singing Opera.” You’ll need smelling salts after that one.
Don’t miss their official videos. The Home Free men will often do a straight, gorgeous vocal performance, but they’ll add elements of humor to the video that will leave you chuckling or even laughing out loud. (Folsom Prison Blues, Between A Rock And A Heartache, Make You Feel My Love, Working For A Living, Brother, Life Is A Highway).
And God help you when you get hit with the Home Free Curse. They’ll cover a song you absolutely cannot stand and make you like it against your will. I’d been hit by the curse four times before I gave up and quit counting. I’m not the only victim of the Home Free Curse, either.
Although their covers are amazing, don’t miss their original compositions. They range from the the poignant (So Long Dixie) to the patriotic (Land Of the Free). These include Dive Bar Saints (one of my favorites), Road Sweet Road, Catch Me If You Can, Lonely Girl’s World, The Stargazer Trilogy (Give Me A Sign, Stargazer Lilies, MR), Champagne Taste On A Beer Budget, Love Me Like That, Skull And Bones, and many, many more.
Their synergy is phenomenal. Each is an artist in his own right, but man - when they sing together, magic happens. Wicked talent polished by decades of hard work. (Unchained Melody, Castle On The Hill, Seven Bridges Road, Only In America) To paraphrase another Home Fry, “They don’t just own a cover, they upgrade it.”
You are doomed, Home Fry. Bring ketchup.

I think Chance is a baritone who can sing bass, rather than a bass who can sing baritone. I do not think he can sing as low as Tim can.

His range isn't quite as low, but he is legitimately a bass.
