@@alessiogreco8598 you car must be the older model? As my egr valve is electric and doesn’t need a control solenoid. If it is the older version it is most likely down the front of the engine on the air intake side of the timing belt 🤞🤞
Yes Ken, it is on a tablet and wasn’t too expensive, around €2000 . It is quite fast at what it does & easily used. We have it 2 years now and it is becoming the most popular scan tool in the garage 🙏👍👍
Great video. I had this same issue some time back on the same car. The Gears in the EGR are nylon, and they break teeth. I got a guy i know to make a new Nylon gear wheel for pittance, and cleaned up EGR and replaced the gear. Spot on since and no issue (Any thoughts??)
Great job again Peter, I too always go for the head torch no matter what the job is🤣 I,m 54 so yeah could be an age thing but I make less mistakes when I can see what I’m doing😉thanks for sharing 👍

Great work from your friend 💪💪
They are making components to fail now after 5 years or so 🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️
The modern plastic car 😂😂😂
One of those 12v wires a bias voltage maybe? Bias voltage will read on your test meter but wont light up a bulb (load). Just a thought

That is exactly it John, it just feels that little bit better when I can see a bit more detail in what I am doing. Thanks J 😉👍
