Enjoy watching the videos, you are good at what you do. On that Audi you covered the number plate but the VIN was clearly visible on the screen of your scanner.
Hi, I had the same fault code P200200. I purchased two bottles of Launch DPF cleaner. Do you recommend I put both pure fluid bottles into the DPF through the additive injector, or will it be better if I make up 4 liters mixed 50/50 with water? My car was off the road for over a month, and I never had any problems with the DPF. I always looked after any regeneration as I monitored [its] completion 100% successfully each time. When I cleared the error code via VCDS after the last regeneration, the error code didn't come back. I just want to use your method to clean up some soot, that's all. Also, do I should do DPaf regeneration after this process and change oil for fresh one Castrol ofcourse? Thanks for learning videos as Pro
Where do you buy that tree shaped attachment that goes on the end of your dpf gun please? Cant seem to find one for sale anywhere. Great video by the way!
Hi I have a 2016 a6 ultra on 66k Would adblue anti crystallisation additive made by wynns help prevent the build up in the cooler happening during regeneration? I presume not leaving the car complete it's standard regeneration process during normal driving conditions doesn't help either? I use millers ecomax diesel additive every fill up always leave the car complete it's regeneration as the M4 is 2 miles from my house so take it for a blast. I've started putting wynns adblue anti crystallisation fluid in with ablue tank too. I'm trying my best to help prevent the cooler blocking as much as possible. Its got a full dealership history too.
I have cleaned my DPF filter using this method before, but I only dared to pour the cleaner in when the DPF filter had cooled down to at least 50°C. I was also afraid to inject the cleaner onto the hot filter with the engine running. I would try it, but I'm scared. Could the ceramic of the filter crack due to the large temperature difference?
Hi, Where about you base mate? I have audi a6 c7 .I had this fault just after collected car from garage. I manage to clear code with vcds and I done dpf regeneration while driving.Everything look good by now but good idea to get cleaned DPF and maybe same with EGR,Catalic Manifold. Would you get back asap. Thanks
@ORileysAutos That far away? When you add DPF cleaner via AdBlue, did you put the air box, hose, and valve back before you turned on the car for 2500 revs? Thanks
I have the same issue , tried contacting you with no luck been to dpf specialist and diagnosed a partially blocked egr cooler . Quoted £2700 to replace cooler Your cleans seem to work on egr coolers , could you recommend anyone around the west midlands that does what you do ?
Yes, I did ! Took the car to Jimmy and got the cooler unblocked for me I had the car for 2 months after that without any issue before selling it, so I can't comment past that . To remove the dpf on these, you basically have to take the front end of the car apart !! Hence, the £2000 price for a replacement . Jimmy has done loads of these cars
Brilliant, thanks Jimmy, got sorted with Ken. Quick question, how come in your latest video on an Audi ultra you go in via the DPF temperature sensor first and then through the DPF pressure sensor, but on most other videos with the same engine/EGR/DPF layout you first flood the DPF via the AdBlue injector and then go in through the DPF pressure sensor? Is your latest, best method on these layouts to just use the pressure gun via the temperature and then pressure sensors and not do the liquid flooding via the AdBlue Injector any more? I’m just about to get the cleaning done on my 2018 Audi A4 ultra sport and not sure now which of the 2 methods is preferred. Thanks in advance!
Yep people buying the wrong cars for the miles they do i have a rule if you do less than 10k miles a year just stick to a petrol yes it may cost a bit more at the pump but it will save you in the long run, diesels dont like short runs injecotrs egr's dpf's turbos etc... on diesels are not cheap and just negate any saving you will make on fuel
My Passat BiTDI 240 bhp puts up that bank 1 efficiency below threshold for a longtime now. It’s there every time i connect the diagnostics up to the car. Always returns after i clear it. Car has done 177,000 miles. It’s never driven slow or short journeys. It doesn’t put on the engine light either. The car runs perfectly too no loss of power etc.
@@davidyz426fHi. Do you have the same model? Just got one today and Im starting to panick a bit. One owner, 111k miles , 2016 model. Do I need to EGR delete and DPF delete as well? How do I notice a possible failure with those ? Thank you.

Any risk of those bottles of fluid finding their way into the intake via the egr valve?
Good question. The low pressure EGR should send the gas back into the intake with the exhaust flap is closed.

Did you put back in place adblue injector after pulouring 4 bottles of fluid? The open hole was closed by injector before you started the engine?
Yes
Why mix the DPF cleaning fluid with water… what is the advantage and is this recomended by manufacturer..? Are there are possible bad consequences

Can you come to Denmark to fix my Punto 1.3mjt ?
The shops say the filter is gone, i don't believe it....
Surprised that after only 10k the system needed a clean 😮
To much around town slow driving
Do you get more blocked dpfs in winter or summer or does outside temp make no difference?
Why don't you like doing a forced regeneration? Is it not how the car naturally cleans the dpf?

Hi Jimmy, is there an alternative to the Launch DPF Cleaner that you can recommend that’s available in Ireland?
For Launch Ireland contact Ken O'brien +353872575707

verry profesional!
Thanks
you need vcds to reset most vag dpf stuff at least that is what ive found
How long (miles) does a cleaning last before you have to do it again?
depends on how they drive. if they just carry on driving the same way, a few thousand miles
Depends on a lot stuff
this is A6 C7
Annoying door open niose on an audi just press the left adjustable wheel on the Multi function steering wheel
I'm having same issue with my audi a6
waaau 🙂
Audi a6 not a4

No. Caused by modern emissions systems recirculating dirty exhaust gas. Very little to do with driving too slow or short journeys

@@danlovelock778 Correct recirculating dirty exhaust gas wiil f..k your engine, thats why i blocked off my egr so it dosnt go back into the intake .
