    Tourists from the "west" are always pleasantly surprised and impressed with Malaysia. People in the Asian continent however, generally speaking they are not that surprised. One thing first time tourists from other asian countries always get surprised on is its diversity (moreso than the modern infrastructure etc). Very few asian countries is as culturally diversed as Malaysia

    Wouldn't be surprised if Google Maps DID take you up that to that highway. KL is amazing city, but it's really not the most pedestrian friendly outside of downtown. Google Maps used to take us to all sorts of crazy places. 😂
    We lived in KL for about 8 months, before we started RUclips. It's such an underrated city. One of of favorites in Asia. Can't wait to go back and film there!
    If you like 400m coffee, you should try in a plane. 😂
    We actually love durian! Between Vietnam, Thailand and KL, we've had it multiple times and in multiple forms. Candies, durian flavored snacks, ice creams..even a durian Blizzard from Dairy Queen. Good stuff.

      Hahahaha still looking back the fact that we were going up a straight up on ramp should’ve been a giveaway lololol. 😂
      That’s so cool you lived in KL for 8 months!! What were you doing there for so long?! And yeah definitely such an underrated city for sure. We absolutely loved it.
      Airplane is next for coffee tasting. Then maybe the space station? 🤨
      They have a durian flavored blizzard at DAIRY QUEEN?!?!? That is absolutely awesome (but also terrible- this is wyatt here lol)
      Where are you guys in the world now?!

      @@WyattandReyka We moved to Asia blindly, just to travel around. Ended up staying for two years. Did some online teaching and stuff! Lived in Vietnam for a year, then Malaysia, South Korea and then Turkey. Traveled to surrounding Asian countries along the way. I wish he had decided to start a RUclips back then. 😕
      We are based out of Budapest these days!
      And yes! Durian blizzard! It was a temporary thing in Vietnam. Best durian thing we tried, for sure. 😜

    Greetings from Kuala Lumpur. Everyone is aware that the Twin Tower is Kuala Lumpur's version of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. It is the structure that best represents Malaysia. I'm glad you two were able to go there. The Musang King variety of durian is the priciest one offered in Malaysia. As you may have seen, in addition to the city's profusion of greenery, KL also has a mix of contemporary and colonial-era historic buildings. The majority of Malaysians choose to shop inside malls since we find them to be much cooler than outside due to our scorching climate. That explains why the city is filled with multiple large malls. When you have more time to explore, we hope you will both enjoy your time in our country.

    Malaysia is between Singapore and Thailand. Less expensive to stay than in Singapore. Better overall communication in English compared to Thailand. The most unique is it is the melting pot and fusion of Asia culture where Malay, Chinese, Indians, Iban, Kadazan and others call here home. You can see traces of British, Portuguese, Holland rule in the right places. Places of interest in Malaysia may not be on par with the other parts of the world (smaller in scale, less grand) so it's ok if you missed them.
    I also see being as a backpacker and navigate and explore these foreign places on your own is a good way to learn to solve problems and experience something new. Sometimes, this can be intimadating, and hiring a guide can be useful and time saving.

    • @WyattandReyka

    the similarity of the flag is just by accident .. our flag inspired from british india east company which is inspired by Grand Union Flag that inspired american flag.( basically appearance just the same only different era and different name as the US indepence so early while Malaysia only after world war 2).. US took the grand union flag and change to 13 original colonies star at the beginning later change to 50 states star while Malaysia took the E.I.C just added star and crescent because of islam and monarch symbol after all british colony - federation of malaya , Sabah , Sarawak and singapore join together for independence and form Malaysia . and also White and red stripe was already establish and popular flag or ensign in the region even before the E.I.C during Srivijaya Empire in 11a.d and after that Majapahit Empire 13 A.d . that is why Indonesia Flag is also red and white.

    how to go to usa?

    • @WyattandReyka
      @WyattandReyka  Год назад +1

      It’s a good question! For literal transportation, flying is probably your best option. It’s the fastest definitely.
      In terms of visas, it depends on which passport you hold, but Wikipedia has a great page for the visa requirements for every other country just do a Google search for “visa requirements for X Passport” where X = your country.
      Let us know if you have any other questions 😊🥰

    How are you wearing a long sleeve shirt there? 😅I’m going to cool off in the KLCC water park when my kids go in. How is it only for kids? 😂

    • @WyattandReyka
      @WyattandReyka  Год назад +1

      Yeah the long sleeve was unfortunate because they were the only clothes I had after we had luggage issues on our flight 😅 I made it through though and it was worth it! 🤗🥰 thanks for watching!!
