I wish I had a crew, my boat has taken a year so far to build but it will be done in a month or so before the ice thaws, thanks for posting this video, can not wait to see the rest! I have learned so much from TBNation and could have not done my build without you guys, THANKS
Freaking epic, Gentlemen! It is insane to see this happen so fast! Hope this gent appreciates this gesture as much as I do. Be the change you want to see. You all are exemplary.
Good job man. Haven't even watched this yet but just the fact that you are trying to help your long time supporter is what counts... Going to go watch now.
Only thing I would have suggested is adding a plastic liner for the foam, after a while the foam will eat into the aluminum and cause problems, but overall fantastic build! Great job!
You guys are a inspirational guide to happiness because I love fishing. Just talked my pops into giving me his old 14 footer boat we fished out when I was a kid, and with your guys awesome vids I am going to turn it into a fishing machine..thanks guys for your sharing of knowledge.. #bigbassenergy
hi im currently drawing a boat supposed to be in aluminium and I wondered what was the thickness of your plates / stiffeners ? please Regards Great job !
Shits fire man! Been looking forward to you posting the videos of this build! What’s the schedule? One per week? Already can’t wait to watch the next one
some of your countersinks look hella deep, ever considered a microstop attachment? We use them in Aviation all day. Drigging the battery op rivet puller.
That's awesome teamwork from you guys! One question about the sub floor. There was no drain tubes trough the pour foam to mid channel? Won't the water from the sides of the boat pool up to the foam?
A couple of questions if you don't mind me asking. How long does that pour foam take on a good day to expand? Is it instant or over 30minutes or so? Also one more question. What's the thickness of the aluminum sheeting you're using?
Every time I watch your videos I wanna strip my Alumacraft 1442NCS down to nothing and build a kick butt boat, but I have no skills, no tools, and no help. So here I sit, drooling and wishing...
Nobody is born running. Start with small thing and learn some mistakes, then take it on, or dive right in to the build. You will amaze yourself perhaps.
Just fyi u guys should start your own TV show.. when I was a kid there was one called pimp my ride.. Pimp My Boat would be a TV show a manly man would watch.. Theres tons of home building and restoration TV shows.. I personally including the rest of our fishing world/people who love restoration vids would watch you....

I'm sure I am in a minority here. I've been watching your channel for a long time and been a loyal subscriber, but...your builds have just gotten so complex and complicated that I can't relate anymore. This is probably what most of your viewers want to see, but I would love to see some more simple builds sometimes. Something "we" could actually accomplish. Thanks for the content. 👍
I understand the concern, but I was there and I think if I had the tools/time I could use a video like this to replicate what was done. Don’t be disheartened, you can make it work. It was crazy epic how fast they all came together to build this, but use it as an instructional.
Using stainless hardware to fasten aluminum is a no no. Everyone in the marine industry knows not to do this. These 2 metals touching causes a catalyst of severe corrosion to both metals. Seeing this in your videos makes me lose all faith in your builds. I hope people dont get hurt or even killed due to your negligence.
The Mad Electritcian ... .great work guys ... extreamly Awesome turn around build ... WoW !!!
Wow, wow, WOW!! That's amazing how well you all work as a well oiled machine to get THAT much done in one day. Can't wait to see the next step.
I can’t thank this crew enough. Spending time and watching them build the boat was incredible.
It was a fun build!
wont there be standing water trapped in the outside edges of the foam pour?
Still can't believe you guys pulled this off. What a ground breaking collaboration a build.
It was fun for sure
Great video I'm building my boat right now it will never look like that hats off to you guys man shoutout tiny boat Nation

This is what has me stuck. Want to do the build, but don't want my garage in pieces for a year
That was intense... Its alot to take in, plenty of tips and tricks in there... thx guys👍
Excellent job fellas!
Nice vid guys. Lots of ideas now on floor and frame that I want to build for my sons boat for the HS fishing team.
Thanks Mike... TINCAN CREW IN THE ELEMENT... 👍🏼🔥
Nailed it. Can't wait to see the rest
I am doing the same size boat. Yous are inspiring me so much.
Freaking epic, Gentlemen! It is insane to see this happen so fast! Hope this gent appreciates this gesture as much as I do. Be the change you want to see. You all are exemplary.
ive followed this from facebook!! nice to see its a video now.
This channel needs to blow up. Everything is just so good.
Ever tried hvac crimpers instead of slotting the side rails?thats how the framers do radius walls on commercial projects
Good job man. Haven't even watched this yet but just the fact that you are trying to help your long time supporter is what counts... Going to go watch now.
Amazing work in a short time guys well done. can’t wait for the next video.

I just found your channel. Its so great you all came together to help this guy
Awesome videos! Best in the business right there!
great video mike!
Unreal vid I've built 4 of these now and I'll never compare to you guys awesome start can't wait to see the rest
Room full if talent = EPIC BUILD!
Have you ever considered building/buying/managing a manufacturing facility that will build these boats?
What an awesome build! You guys are good people for helping others out.
This is one for the books that’s for sure!!
This is freaking awesome. Love it. Want to overhaul my 14ft carolina skiff.
Awesome video .. really cool you show us how you do it so we can take what you teach us and apply it to our own builds ..🤘🤘
Only thing I would have suggested is adding a plastic liner for the foam, after a while the foam will eat into the aluminum and cause problems, but overall fantastic build! Great job!
Aluminum + stainless steel rivets, risk for galvanic corrosion?
Hey you never exsplain the center drainge. I mean i see it but is it just going to be tubes to the back

Regards
Great job !
I was waiting on day two to start
Man it'd be awesome if your team offered service like this. Yall would make a bunch of $$$.
Forgot how much you like the snow, Michael, maybe we ice fish?
Maybe!
Random question but on you power pole video what was the length of actuators you used, and can you use gator skin on wood or just metal.
Great video, I'm trying to make my 14' alumacraft into the boat I want since I can't afford to upgrade boats so this one is going to have to work
It will do well!
Awesome! What an Awesome video.
I remember when I told u that Milwaukee made that rivet gun and to see it make boats now is great!
best tool ever
This boat looks similar to mine. I have a 1970 14' MirroCraft. Are there plans available anywhere for doing this kind of conversion?
Won't SSTL HDWR corrode from being dissimilar metals ?
So instead of Rivets can you weld the aluminum to the boats body?
Shits fire man! Been looking forward to you posting the videos of this build! What’s the schedule? One per week? Already can’t wait to watch the next one

What size and thickness are the aluminum sheets for the flooring and where can I buy them? please help me. Thank You
.090 and you can also use .063 but it is weaker. We can sell you sheets or you can go to your local metal shop and see what they are.
Will I loose anything ( structure integrity) by removing a center bench on a 14 48 Jon boat?
Definitely would be a project I would like to do one day.
Hell yeah!
That's awesome teamwork from you guys! One question about the sub floor. There was no drain tubes trough the pour foam to mid channel? Won't the water from the sides of the boat pool up to the foam?
Yes
Sub floor tubing is it 1 1/2" or 1 1/4"
How much for a kit or build?
Nice stuff
A couple of questions if you don't mind me asking. How long does that pour foam take on a good day to expand? Is it instant or over 30minutes or so? Also one more question. What's the thickness of the aluminum sheeting you're using?
I too would like to know the thickness of the aluminum floor... also the maximum spacing between braces/cross members used to support the floor...
How much pour foam did this take?
How much does all of the used aluminum cost?
Do you rivet the frame to the side of the boat? and if so , how do you make it water tight?
Water pump working abit harder😂
What is the size of this boat your customizing?
16.5’

I’m building a similar hull with a Johnson 25 . 1973 14’ mirrocraft deep v and a 1973 Johnson 25
I am out at Parker all the time, but I have yet to see what this boat will be like when a wakeboard boat passes by.
How long and what type of boat was this? Thanks
16’8 crestliner
What kind of boat is this?
1990’s crestliner deep v (16’7)
How thick is that floor sheet ?
Are they aluminum or zink coated metal
How much do these cost
