    I've been watching your builds and other's for a couple years. I've always thought the pour foam being sealed off from the bilge and sides was a good idea but nobody seemed to be doing it. This is the best build yet. You've come a long way since the pool noodles.

    Someone needs to get this guy the funding, the facility, and the team he needs to just become a full on boat manufacturer.
    Production models of boats this quality could turn the small fishing boat industry on its head, depending on their retail price

      Regardless of the price it will turn the industry on its head as there is nothing quite like this out there. He could be designing a fold out clamshell unit that drops from a helecopter for Navy Seals to use. The space savings and attention to detail continually blow my mind. I went to Industrial Design School, and alot of my projects ended up like this: a perfect blend of art and engineering. Great stuff.

    Built my 12' JB with inspiration from you (3 years ago). Would have added an additional few hatches if I could have afforded it but I love it. Get positive reviews almost every time I go out.

    Can you do a short video on electronics and there requirement as far as voltages, batteries, on board chargers, switches, fuses, ect. I love the videos I want you to geek out on electronics why someone would choose the things and why the put it together like that. Maybe use this boat as an example.

    @45:41( exactly, it is very fleeting) there are two scratches on a hatch lid. I know it doesnt matter as it will be covered in foam, but in case i wanted to leave an exposed hatch surface, are these painted or powdercoated?

    Where are you out of? The spot you work out of looks like the residential lots in Phoenix (due to all the gravel I see in the landscaping) where my brother lives, but I was out to lunch with a metals rep from Haggerty Steel in the Quad Cities (where hwy 80 crosses the mississippi) the other day and he said he supplies your stuff? Are you in Illinois?

    Seeing the terminal ends crimped with channel locks and not get heated hurt the wiring part of my soul so bad! But the boat still turned out great

      Those are all Marine grade nylon connectors. I wouldn’t recommend them for saltwater, but there are no problems with freshwater applications. You can use either nylon or heat connectors in these cases

    You mentioned paying for a rig like this would be an obscene amount of money... Can you quantify that in a rough estimate dollar amount? Thanks bro, new subscriber here. I knew what I wanted to do, since I am getting away from traditional boats, and spending more time fishing... With a lot of smaller lakes in my area... they do not allow gas motors... So I have been researching building a small aluminum boat and outfitting it with what I need. while I want a small outboard, I want something that can just troll also... I love the aluminum deck with compartments but kind of like the traditional steering wheel set up... It looks like I will need to stray away from that and utilize the space available and enjoy a more utilitarian type of boat with some trick looks, storage, and goodies. I found a very cheap donor boat, and I would love to chat about kits, styles, and costs... Is it best to reach out to your business directly or through the website?

      It would be somewhere around 50K for a boat like this with the outboard and all the add-ons.

    I have a grizzly tracker 1654 im putting a 50hp suzuki on. The setup of your boat is very similar to how i want mine

      My grizzly tracker is a 2007 model that ive had all the floor ribs rewelded and had stiffners added. When i bought it, it had a 25hp etec tiller on it

      16ft is the perfect tiny boat platform. Anything larger than that it starts to become cumbersome and hard to store anywhere.
