    Nice documentation of the build. Just enough to give knowledge to the viewers, but not too much that it gets boring. Good job.

    I see that you are also a Fisher of Men 😉.. Love seeing your God is Big Enough bracelet. My 17 year old son and I are about to tackle the same project on “his” 1996 19’ Cajun boat. Your videos have helped to give me the confidence that we can do this. We are in the Dallas, Texas area so if your tired of the cold come on down LOL!!

    You guys should invest in an actual pvc heat box. Can do thicker longer pieces in minutes

    What's to stop water from coming under the lip of the dry hatch lid? was a sealant used between the framing and the lids underside before riveting?

    Hey I bought some property and it has an old boat on it. The trailer is rough and there is no motor. I’m not gonna do anything with it. If you’re interested hit me up.

    Why is it no-one ever modifies the bow plate profile to extend outside the factory frame shape of the nose of the boat, I would think extending out a foot on one side of the bow or the other to have a trolling motor mount would be a sweet idea freeing up space in the bow area.

  • @charlescook94

    Because they had some series skill as the take a inch bubble off a weld

  • @mikel9567
    @mikel9567 3 года назад +1

    No grommets around those holes? You will have electrical issues. Wiring through aluminum in a boat that is bouncing and rolling in the waves. Those sharp edges will slice through that wiring. Every hole should have a grommet. Like you said, you put that much time in the build, why screw it up with poor wiring.

    Is it lighter to do the framing in aluminum tube/ angle and use 1/2" marine plywood? Because I can't afford .090 but I want to save up some bucks and eventually do the floor in aluminum. Any thoughts would really help

    Hello. forgive me, English is not my native language. how to calculate the height of the engine in relation to the bottom of the boat when mounted with hydraulic trim? how much should the engine anti-cavitation plate be higher than the bottom edge of the boat bottom? thank.
