I came to learn about fondue on the stove because I have one that can be on the stove or use the Fondue Burner Flame as shown here, so I am grateful to have run into this first because I decided to use the stove first since I didn't know how to use the Burner. I appreciate you and I appreciate the time you took to do this.
Thank you for the video. How do I recharge the burner, does the lid come off of the bottom bowl or is that as much as it can be taken apart as seen in your video?
Hi Bob thanks for the video. i have tested these as well and found that if you put a one inch long neck on top of the opening where the flame comes out it causes the stove to draw more air flow and really put out more heat.
Dec 6 2022 I went to a 2nd store ,I saw this eye catching thing .I picked it up don't know how to use it ..I just on you tube ..I'm happy I saw your help full video...... one question .do I pour the bathroom alcohol .in it. Than y ou⁶
Yep I'm curious as to what kind of fuel he used. I have one of those that I got from goodwill for $4 but it had the pot stand and the ceramic fondue bowl. I used 90% alcohol and it burned great and I got boil bubbles within 5-6 minutes. But I had to put it out before I got a rolling boil. Apparently the smell of the alcohol was giving my wife a headache.
Denatured Alcohol is what they recommend but isopropyl alcohol works also. As I'm sure most rubbing alcohol would. Just monitor it and NEVER leave it alone.
From the blue in the flames I'm pretty sure I used methanol. If I had used rubbing alcohol the flames would have been much more yellow. Thanks for watching my video.

Thank you very much for watching my video and thank you for the kind words.
Can someone tag a link to a video that shows how to refill the burner properly?
Thank you for the info, just picked up one of those at Goodwill yesterday and was wondering about the fuel. Be blessed and Prepared 🙏♥️

You can use heet (the fuel treatment) or denatured alcohol. Denatured alcohol is cheap and easily found.
So what kind fuel should I use? Denatured alcohol?
Where can I buy denatured alcohol?
Hardware store. Probably Walmart etc. Yellow bottle Heet is kind of popular also.
What kind of alcohol do you use and how much do you put in container
hello need to see the begining. this runs only with alcohol?
Denatured Alcohol is what they recommend but isopropyl alcohol works also. As I'm sure most rubbing alcohol would. Just monitor it and NEVER leave it alone.
Thanks so much, Hiram! Good vid! Question....is that just regular rubbing alcohol you used or a special type? Thanks!
Got two of those. Never tried them. Now i need to put them in rotation with other stuff.
Thanks, I just found one of those. At least I can use it for an emergency stove.
what kind of alcohol and how much...thanks

I am completely new to this concept. Which alcohol is better? What is methanol? Where do you buy it?
@@offairhead Methyl Hydrate. You can buy it in the paint section of the hardware store.
