I found an odd burner thing in my mother's emergency supplies. As far as I can tell it is a fondue burner but it doesn't come apart. The only marking it has is Japan. How does it come apart? Can it be cleaned? Is it even still usable? Thank you.
Same question! I bought a vintage fondue set and the burner definitely shows signs of age and use but it won't come apart. Going to try and pry it with pliers or something.
@@xxQuirkyCozyxx unfortunately I still haven't figured out how to take it apart. I'll just keep it as an antique. You may not want to use pliers as it may devalue the set you have. I highly doubt mine is a collectable item. You may want to look for any special markings before forcibly taking it apart.
@@happybrokefatuglymama4 my intention is to use it as a sort of cauldron for magical/spell working, so I'm just going to look for a replacement or alternative to heat it. My burner looks pretty rusty, so i imagine it wasn't well maintained and is stick shut. Thank you for the reply.
dont take it apart just fill it with burning spirit. i wish i could still find those old burners who don't come apart. if someone knows where to get those let me know
