- India wrote aviation history on January 22, 2024: Air India's new Airbus A350 had its first passenger flight, and what a spectacular aircraft we saw!
The Air India A350 has nothing to do with the not-so-great reputation of the past decades - the cabins are not just new, but top worldclass level. We're flying in the fantastic A350 Business Suites. I think it's maybe the best business-class seat in the world, for sure it's on par with Qatar's QSuite and ANA's The Room - but all cabin classes are modern and up-to-date.

It's absolutely worth trying. This is one of the best business-class cabins in the world. Quite the maximal turnaround for the airline. Would be amazing if they continue at this speed now

Amazing review, was fun meeting you all in the flight. Tata have already revealed the new Air India product. That would be seen in the new a350s (non Aeroflot planes) and mostly later would be retrofitted in the 6 ex-Aeroflot a350s.

No, that's a future plan, I guess. But this A350 is already extremely. Just like ANA The Room and QSuite are better or not worse than a first-class product like the one at BA

I actually wanted to go there from Mumbai. But there were no free seats on the time I wanted to go. Therefore I went to South Goa instead.
But that means I still have to visit Kerala as a new destination 😊

Certainly a very beautiful cabin. However, as per me, if I am in one of those business class cabins, I might freak out. The problem is with me 😅. I feel claustrophobic in such closed spaces. Fortunately I am not wealthy enough to afford a business class seat, so that solves my problem. Nevertheless, AirIndia is on a rise under TATA and even the sky is not a limit. Way to go TATA!
I understand the claustrophobia issue. Quite a lot of people told me about that. When it's already tight enough to be on a plane.......
