The A350’s a wonderful aircraft. You can literally fly to the other side of the world with it. Congratulations to Air India for choosing such a great aircraft, and I wish they keep the aircraft for a long time.
The way i see that is one guy is sharing is experience and being real no matter the backlash he faces meanwhile the other makes brand friendly content to stay in the good books of every airline so he can get invited/able to access more special experiences for content. They are 2 different ways of going about their content with both pros and cons of each method but personally i prefer the more "real" approach Josh has as its similar to what we as normal customers are likely to experience

I don't know the true story but I am guessing Josh might have upset Sam when he mentioned his name in one of the video saying that unlike Sam, he (Josh) doesn't promote an airline or talk good about them just to get a free trip. This might have created a problem between them.

I like how Sam addressed the differences with Josh. It always bothers me when I see other aviation RUclipsrs that I like giving Sam a hard time for how he chooses to share his own content. Sam has been doing this for a long time and is too well known to ever be able to do fair reviews because they know who he is and treat him accordingly. Guys like Josh, Noel Phillips, Paul Lucas (Three of my favourite commercial aviation RUclipsrs) and others don't really get that they and Sam compliment each other. Sam is the glossy travel magazine that gets access to things because he's well known, but will never get "normal" treatment that's necessary to give a fair review. The others are like a Lonely Planet travel guide that can give you a review that's a bit closer to what the average person experiences. (This is something they will struggle to do as their viewership and notoriety increases.) I enjoy both types of content, and I think I'm smart enough to keep them both in perspective. I see no need to choose one type of video over another. I've never seen Sam say a bad word about anyone, and I wish others would take the high road like him.
Air India is gonna look totally different by the end of 2024, with refurbished B777s and B787s and new aircrafts like A350-900s. No doubt that it returned to the rightful owner. Edit: Thanks for the likes😊
@@vinodkaka5225 According to wikipedia 3 B777-200 LRs are gonna retire by March 2024, I think because previously the remaining A350-900s were gonna deliver in March, but the delivery got delayed to June, so i wonder if the B777-200 LRs are gonna retire in March or not. But B777-300 ERs are not gonna retire soon that's for sure. According to the latest update from Boeing, they are gonna start delivery of B777 X from next year, so until then I don't think so that they will retire any of the B777-300 ERs. Moreover they are leasing more B777-300 ERs till all the new orders will be delivered. Plz note that all this data is from Wikipedia and hence rely on them accordingly.

This is a very important step in the right direction for giving India a great airline they can finally be proud of. I’m glad that Sam and Josh were able to settle their differences like gentlemen. In fact, the first six Air India A350-900s are all cancelled Aeroflot orders and have the same interior as Aeroflot. Essentially an Aeroflot hard product with the rest of the experience being Air India.

I like the simplified elegance the new livery delivers. I especially like the special font they came up with for the name. Last decent Air India experience was 25+ years back, so I wish them well.
WOW ❤️ Im gad and couldn't believe we had now world class planes. I had a memory of ealry 1990s when i flew Indian airlines and as a kid i was gifted with chocolate pack and a mini game. This was the time when airlines hold prestige at that level. And im sure this is coming back.
This is just the beginning for Air India. For Air India to return to the glory days, alot of hard work will have to be put in by everybody at the airline. Paying attention to the smallest of details, will enhance Air India's product. It will take team effort to make Air India what it once was. I've flown on A350s multiple times, probably one of my favorite airlines. The quiet and spacious cabin is great! +the winglets are super cool

I’ve been on Cathy Pacific A350-1000 and the lighting in the A350 was soooooo cool and the seating is so good, I recommend flying the A350-1000

If they can provide a consistent, reliable, good value flight, and the passengers are treated well Air India will rise to former glory.

And it is therefore a COLLECTIVE ACCOUNTABILITY (NOT just a responsibility, remember!!!) of the PEOPLE who represent the BRAND‼️ From the Cleaning Crew to the Cabin Crew to the Pilot(s), to the Exit-Gate @the Destination point...THEY ARE THE BRAND‼️ That's what needs to be Driven for Air India to regain its 1960-70's glory!! It's a SERVICE PROVIDER representing the Country to the World first! That's how our Flagship Carrier must build it's image!! Then & ONLY THEN we shall all create a BRAND EQUITY!!
With all the new investments, if Air India can also manage the "cultural change", I believe they will succeed.

WOW ❤️ Im gad and couldn't believe we had now world class planes. I had a memory of ealry 1990s when i flew Indian airlines and as a kid i was gifted with chocolate pack and a mini game. This was the time when airlines hold prestige at that level. And im sure this is coming back.

This is just the beginning for Air India. For Air India to return to the glory days, alot of hard work will have to be put in by everybody at the airline. Paying attention to the smallest of details, will enhance Air India's product. It will take team effort to make Air India what it once was. And it can be done, now that the airline, is back where it belongs. Being an Air Indian, I wish Air India the very best for the future.
