Gotta chime in on what Erik said about the blade at the beginning of the film: stone blades aren’t necessarily duller, but don’t hold a sharp edge as well. Stone blades/flakes are brittle, and easier to chip and break, but if one is a skilled flintknapper, they can be shaped to cut well. Functionality of the edge also held true with the evolution of metal blades. Some were too soft to hold an edge, others too brittle, and would fracture, etc. When tempered steel was finally made, when done well, the edge had the best of both worlds. The advantage to stone tools is that if it breaks, you look for another good stone for such a tool, and start knapping (slowly heat treating certain kinds of stones can improve them as well.). Metal blades are much more involved, overall. There are others who are much, much more knowledgeable than I am on the evolution of cutting tools, blades, etc. if you want to know more.
Celestials can probably change their size to interact with the world around them. Like when you see Arishem holding Sersi for the first time he's pretty damn big (they were also trying to keep her in shot), but when he pays Earth a visit he dwarfs the planet completely. I'd say Eson the Searcher from the first GOTG movie is around the same height as Tiamut from the comics.
19:35 well, grasping at straws here, but maybe Thor didn't connect with the Eternals because as far as he knew, or even the eternals knew, they were to leave the planet after the deviants were all killed, which was about 500 years ago, so thor would've just thought that eternals are gone. If not that then in Infinity War, Thor was ambushed by Thanos on his way to Earth, after which he went straight to Nidavellir to get Stormbreaker, and the fight ended in Wakanda so there was no reason for him to contact the Eternals now(that is if he knew they were still in the planet) and in Endgame the goal was never to fight Thanos anyway, the goal was to simply go back in time and borrow the stones, so why would he try to find the Eternals. Although there are many loose ends in the second theory too, I think the first one is more plausible, that Thor and others just believed that the Eternals had left the planet.
Yes jaby. Celestials are different sizes in MCU. In GOTG, celestial Eson was shown standing on a planet. We saw Jemiah creating a whole fricking galaxy inside hands. Tiamut is roughly the size of the Earth, whereas Arishem is bigger than the Earth. Also considering the planets across the universe are different sizes too.
The Celestial's hand was bigger than a city in the vision we saw, or am i missing something? I doubt that a tiny skyscraper man emerges from the earth.
Ppl don’t realise the entire Thanos thing, from Thor even being aware of Thanos’ plan in AoU to Thanos’ snap in Wakanda, was in a short period of time. During which, Odin died, Hella was in Hell and then died, Loki was pretending to be Odin and then died, and Thor was a little busy. Not too big of a stretch to think Thor didn’t really think of calling them, even if he knew where to find them.
Jaby should use the scale of the head of Nowhere. That place is huge and that just what's left of the head after years of salvaging its resources...and how does Ego fit in, was he a different type of celestial?
it just doesn't make sense to me that people are asking about why this or that character didn't help fight Thanos......when Thanos came to Wakanda......it was so brief......he just walked few meters took the stone had a blow from Thor then snapped and got away.......in endgame their whole mission was about going back in time they didn't knew Thanos will catch up.....to them he was dead

Regarding Jaby's concern about the "slavery thing," I guess the reason why they didn't touch on it, it's because I think another Marvel movie had done a great job in pointing it out which is Black Panther especially when it comes to Kilmonger.
A new possible Easter egg/theory I'd seen watching these videos is that Phastos may have a created Shang-Chi's ten rings, like when his using his powers, multiple cosmic rings appear on his hands in the scene where he extracts the cosmic orb from Sersi's chest, and that Shang-Chi is in the Marvel comic intro, and how Wong shows the beacon to him in the end credits of his movie, could be signaling that Phastos is in danger when Arishem takes him and the other eternals from Earth and the ten rings could lead straight to where he could be now.
Love how confidently jaby started speaking about the size of the celestials.... all the while being as wrong as he could be lol The celestials are literally larger than planets, and they can scale themselves further. You literally saw celestials creating galaxies in the movie. Plus the ending shot of the movie where he's floating in space before turning into a black hole and vanishing is happening with the planet earth in the shot for scale. Heck, the black hol he collapsed into was as large, if not larger than the planet earth, and that black hole was only about 1/3rd arishem's size. The only scale that doesn't make sense is what Achara said in regards to tiamut. If all it took was the indian ocean to fit tiamut's body, which seems to be the case given the marbelized body now sitting in the ocean, then the emergence was never really an issue on earth. Tiamut's scale was nowhere near what Arishem showed sersei in the vision sequence where just his hand that was bursting through the planet was the size of a continent. They did indeed mess up with Tiamut's scale in the 3rd act. As always, achara's right, and the ignorant jaby is wrong. What a surprise.
"We're not involved unless there's a Deviant" So there were deviants with the Frost giant's army??? Also, the size of the celestials was supposed to be 300-500 km large, way beyond any building. They're massive, and may be able to shift their size. Just think about Knowhere's head, it's a whole city.
Well, either that or the fact that they did specify in it being human conflicts so they had free reign to do whatever they wanted anywhere else but their base of operations was always Earth. If it's the former then that'd be a really sneaky way to confirm that there are Skrulls amongst the ranks of Asgards since from what I've heard Skrulls are in fact descendants of Deviants. Which would also open up to reveals such as Jaimie Alexander's Sif being a skrull and such.
No they just clearly broke that rule on numerous occasions. And they aren't supposed to get involved in human conflict - not no other conflict. The question about Thanos specifically trails off into "or any of the other conflicts in history". About Thanos, my thoughts are it will obviously be addressed more later, but it's important to remember the path from one to 6 stones was a couple days at most - his crusade obviously was on a longer scale and we don't know the celestials relation to it but as far as infinity war goes - the reason Thor didn't get them is he had absolutely no time from his perspective.
@@k3n12ock Hey there! If I'm not wrong, they did fight on Earth against Odin at some point. Also, what do Frost Giants have to do with Deviants? I get that Eternals' movie has come much later, and we just can't expect everything prior to this point to make sense, same as Capt'n Marvel. They couldn't help because they didn't exist in the MCU before. But the Frost Giants thing was mentioned on the movie, and goes against many of their own rulez. They didn't fight Loki, Ultron, Hydra, the Dark Elves, Thanos, etc. So why mention the giants at all?
We saw celestials making galaxies Lol Perhaps the empire state building is bigger than galaxies Jaby the answer is celestials can be any size they want Thats why the scale was constantly changing in the movie ☺️☺️

On the slavery thing, I honestly would have expected Druig to comment on it before Phastos. Only bc Druig was so outspoken about how much he hated that humans killed and tortured each other (that’s why he would mind control his followers and even commented on it in the movie- to protect them from themselves). I get everyone thinks Phastos bc he’s a black character and would’ve long noticed that humans of his likeness were being unjustly tortured and discriminated against, but Druig was definitely the most outspoken about the unjust shortcomings of humanity. I would love it if they comment on slavery in the sequel, while Arishem looks back in the history of humanity to deem if humans are worthy of saving or not. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if they saved a discussion on it for that exact purpose.
Yeah I mean if they were in Athens, Sumeria, Babylon - there was hella slavery there. Not exactly the same as later racial chattel slavery but absolutely widespread. In surviving materials from early Uruk they are literally discussed just like cattle, and apparently the most commonly found symbol is Female Captive of Foreign Origin.
Arishem is definitely larger than the earth itself...the scale is referred at the last scene I believe, Tiamut isn't hatching out of the earth, he's transforming the earth's mass into his body...as the emergence continues, he may grow bigger absorbing more mass Or, the chief celestials may be bigger than the rest...as Arishem is the prime celestial
@@JBurnz001 yeah, maybe they absorb the inner mass of the planet, it maybe the outer part exploding Cuz such a giant inside the earth should have registered in the geographical data at somepoint If Tiamut was that big already, the Earth would have no core and most of the mantle would be his body alone...
Y'all should watch another video NR did talking about whether or not the Earth should have survived Tiamut's semi-emergence. They go into detail about the exact scale of the Celestials and Tiamut in particular
MCU's Arisham's head is can be bigger/larger/longer than an Skyscraper Empire State building/Burg Khalifa you can see the size in the Movie clip in this video by comparing to Prime Eternals Ajak/Sersi
David Kaye voiced Optimus Prime only in Transformers Animated. He's more famous for voicing Megatron in Beast Wars and Transformers Unicron Trilogy. Surprising that Voss doesn't know it.
I'm sure there are not many people who are familiar with Transformers properties other than the films and thus he mentioned the most noteworthy voice work of the guy.
I just noticed! If you see Sprite's lips, it says, "now that Captain America and Iron Man are both gone." Captain America! Means that the insight New Rockstars is pointing out here is something the makers/producers considered much later during post-production. Stuff like this clearly indicates how the pandemic messed up Marvel's filmmaking and release schedule, just like for so many others.
He didn't play apart in slavery but he did play a part in the bombing of hiroshima because he helped humans evolve their technology's which then led to the making of nuclear bombs that's why he was upset.
The team behind Eternals worked hard to show you the scale of the celestials and you're saying that they're as tall as a skyscraper? C'mon Jaby, the last scene perfectly destroys this argument
I feel Icarus is at the far end cause he’s the strongest. I mean Thena is right next to him. Meanwhile from the other end the strength seems to increase
I assume some are different sizes and also have enough power to change it anyway? Like in guardians 1, we see one destroy like the surface of a planet with a power stone but then maybe arisham makes the others smaller so that he is more powerful. planets are different sizes too so that could also account for different sized celestials
According to vfx supervisor of Eternals. They confirmed that Tiamut hight is 500km long from head to toe. Whereas mount Everest is only 8.8 km and empire state is 443m😂
I also don't understand the size shifts or size difference of celestial in this movie..some are the size of earth some are the size of sun and some have galaxies in there hands..
Celestials are planet sized being according to Marvel movie franchise. For example, Starlord's (Guardians of the Galaxy 2) dad is a Celestial who is physically a planet. Arguably different planet has different sizes, pointing to another example when the collector (Guardians of the Galaxy 1) shows the use of power stone in which another celestial is using it to wipe out the planet he is standing on showing that, that planet is bigger than the average sized planet, in this case Jaby's argument is valid on this specific planet.
For the phastos part he is the one who helped create the bomb and for his own creation to destroy an entire city and take thousands of lives is what really got to him
Celestial could surely change is size to fit on a planet , but there is a video explain that some Celestial's eyes could be as big as the Moon. So i'm not surprised that we saw only the head of this Celestial sa perspective of a human. Galactus is also super tall.
In the guardian of the galaxy 2 they'd shown celestial size of skyscraper and ego was celestial too but in human form 😅 so celestial size can be anything
Note on the slavery thing. It's been around since the first societies, still exists, and also not inherently a racial issue (especially in the historic sense). Not sure how the movie would even attempt to address it in a clean or meaningful way given how thin the story was already stretched. The Asgardian thing is interesting but not a huge plot hole. No surprise Odin wouldn't say anything, and Thor was probably just a young child when they interacted. Good video though, the tangents were particularly fun this time.
They’re definitely bigger then a skyscraper, we saw them making Suns and galaxies is their hands. they might be able to change their size

I liked Eternals more after watching it a 2nd time.

How to roast a Jaby effortlessly

And how to roast Achara back
😂😂
Eternals project themselves in any way they wish. As we saw in Guardians they have walked on planets.
You meant celestials
Not eternals
Celestials not eternals
@@joshbrosh6626 You are correct.
The movie, shows the Celestials in comparison to the planet
Jabby: It's the size of a skyscraper
The movie: .-.
Jeremiah created an entire galaxy with his hands, they're BIG Jaby. 😂😂 Arishem is probably like 100 earths combined.
You two are perfect thanks
"If I walked pasted a skeleton of a Child MOLESTOR.......
Jaby needs some serious help
The Celestial's hand was bigger than a city in the vision we saw, or am i missing something? I doubt that a tiny skyscraper man emerges from the earth.
Celestials are able to change there body mass that why they can create planet’s
You guys should review new Rockstar video about the size of the celestials

Ppl don’t realise the entire Thanos thing, from Thor even being aware of Thanos’ plan in AoU to Thanos’ snap in Wakanda, was in a short period of time. During which, Odin died, Hella was in Hell and then died, Loki was pretending to be Odin and then died, and Thor was a little busy. Not too big of a stretch to think Thor didn’t really think of calling them, even if he knew where to find them.
Cloe zhao showing arishem next to earth and just as big as earth
Jaby: i think he is the size of Empire State building
Jaby should use the scale of the head of Nowhere. That place is huge and that just what's left of the head after years of salvaging its resources...and how does Ego fit in, was he a different type of celestial?
the name is *Jaby ..i mean its literally in the channel name..
it just doesn't make sense to me that people are asking about why this or that character didn't help fight Thanos......when Thanos came to Wakanda......it was so brief......he just walked few meters took the stone had a blow from Thor then snapped and got away.......in endgame their whole mission was about going back in time they didn't knew Thanos will catch up.....to them he was dead
@@JBurnz001 OK.....tell me how someone like Ajak or Ikaris would have known that Thanos came in one of the hidden city of the planet for a few minutes let alone he is a deviant or not
Btw my point was no 1 other than the Avengers would have known......not just the eternals......whatever character they introduce in the future.....if they weren't in contact with an Avenger or in Wakanda there is no way they would have known what's coming......just think about it, I'm not here to defend anything......the whole journey of Thanos of acquiring the stones was so low key and quick that a very few people knew about it throughout earth or even throughout the universe
Aside from Cap coming back at the end of endgame.........there is no pothole in the mcu.....I would challenge anyone on that......I'm a big fan and watched these movies quite a few times, I realize these movies can get a bit confusing for general audiences in aspects of intricate plot details
@@JBurnz001 1 more thing.....and here I need to defend the movie......the movie never showed them interfering in human activity.....other than Phastos advancing the technology which he stopped doing after Hiroshima......oh yeah Druig took over a town for centuries
@@JBurnz001 you forgot what Sersi said......they were not allowed to interfere in human "conflicts"...... it wasn't like don't even interact with humans and stay hidden.......they were there to evolve humans.......but interfering in every conflict would have hindered their evolution........this movie was a lot more complex than you realize.......its not just this is right and that is wrong
@@JBurnz001 first point out those 2 conflicts please and 2nd here we go again......how would have them or even Arishem would have known about Thanos? Btw interacting or helping Odin in a passive way is not interfering......its not like they were fighting along side them......that is the complex thing I'm talking about......their are astrics......but its all about the goal of evolving humanity but not baby sitting them otherwise they won't grow.....
1 more thing if Arishem really cared that much he would have been super pissed and wouldn't have given earth a chance in the end........he is busy making galaxies and like in comics Celestials doesn't care about infinity stones and mortals
@@JBurnz001 okay......If you remember Fury said to the council in Avengers 1 that as long as I believe my team can contain the threat......I will not order a nuclear strike.......I imagine if the Avengers wouldn't have decided to fight or things would have gone out of hand(heck the whole battle of new york was limited to a few streets) he would have called Captain Marvel.......now compare this situation to infinity war, Ironman gone missing, 10 times signature of aliens as compared to new york and people started disappearing infront of his eyes
Here is another example "Nick Fury" he even Knew the Avengers.....still he didn't knew what came and hit them......Thanos was so quick
It's just an excuse that you have to be face to face.......people just doesn't wanna hear another perspective
You can see his (Arisham's) only head cover the whole sky, is that enough?!
Love how confidently jaby started speaking about the size of the celestials.... all the while being as wrong as he could be lol
The celestials are literally larger than planets, and they can scale themselves further.
I think the destructive force of the emergence comes from how deep in the earth tiamut was as well.
@@itskashkashi exactly.. They didn't mess up the scale. The rest of his body poppin out the earth wuda destroyed the planet.
7:08 well that just took a turn 🤣
21:25 AWHHH Achara"s sweet voice😭😭😭😩i cant~
You can see him (Arisham) in front of Earth mahn, you can guess how bigger he is from that... he's enormous than a planet...
What's frost giants got to do with anything on earth?
We saw celestials making galaxies
Lol
Perhaps the empire state building is bigger than galaxies
Jaby the answer is celestials can be any size they want
Thats why the scale was constantly changing in the movie ☺️☺️
👍for “all the ninja turtle art”. Thanks Jaby and Achara; another great reaction and discussion.
There's actually a New Rockstars video where they discuss the size of the Celestials. Tiamuts head breaks through the ozone layer, which makes his whole body, hundreds of miles long.
Jaby arishem is the size of a planet .
hey buddy love from India.. love your reaction.... yeeeeee I am the first
The only thing that I didn’t like about eternals was the Bollywood dance number.Cause that is not how Bollywood dances are done in India.Chloe zhao has no understanding of Bollywood, clearly and tbf though I don’t blame her but I feel like if you don’t know about something then don’t it but maybe that’s just my opinion. On the other hand,I was really happy to see himbu hatela aka Karun in the film. He’s a legendary actor who still lives upto the legend.I was also really happy that they were talking in Hindi.I literally was about to cry when Karun gave that speech in Hindi. And last but not the least,The dishoom reference was kind of well…..okay.Also I really really liked the ending scene where arishem shows up and epic music in the background,it gave me the chills. The end credit scene was also really cool when they teased the black knight and also blade possibly pointing towards midknight sons. And seeing Harry fucking styles show up in the end was a big wtf moment for me and I was like”okay,Harry fucking styles is in the mcu now.Great.” So yeah this was a good movie.I didn’t enjoy it that much but I don’t hate it that much either.
Eh some of the parts especially the part with the woman dancing was pretty accurate. Kingos dancing and expressions felt like they were making fun of bollywood.
(I am an indian btw)
@@shawnjames3242 Agree with you on the last part. They were making fun of bollywood. Also yeah, the women dancing was accurate but not pretty accurate.I just wanted that they hired an indian actor for the dance like Hrithik Roshan or tiger Shroff or any well known Indian dancer.Cause then,I would've had zero complaints.
@@aaditkhan728 true. a cameo from hrithik or tiger, showing off their dance skills, would have been amazing.
@@shawnjames3242 exactly bro.I feel bad for Kumail nanjiani manzhe did the best he could with the character and Chloe Zhao literally tricked him into doing a bollywood dance number. He wanted to do an action sequence instead.
@@aaditkhan728 I wouldn’t say tricked him. That’s just falsely accusing her of something that you have no evidence of
Thor was the only one who knew about eternals during the infinity saga, and do you really expect thor to seek help from anyone, moreover he was either traumatized, in battle or too hungover throughout the saga....
Or he knew that they were instructed not to interfere with human conflict and so he thought it would be pointless to contact them.
"We were only supposed to interfere if Deviants were involved."
*proceed to interfer in an Asgardian/Frost Giant war in Norway*
**DETROIT BECOME HUMAN!!**
In the comics asgardians were also created by the celestials so it kind of makes sense
They probably asked permission to do so since at the time humans still didn’t have that ability to defend them selves from alien threats
*Human* conflict
@@izzytheartist4710 human conflict does not limit to human wars. if you paid attention to the movie you would know this.

Beauty of the art is that how we interpret it...rather than what is put it into it.
Confirmed by Director, Celestials are 10 times of the Earth.
Arishem is definitely larger than the earth itself...the scale is referred at the last scene
I believe, Tiamut isn't hatching out of the earth, he's transforming the earth's mass into his body...as the emergence continues, he may grow bigger absorbing more mass
Or, the chief celestials may be bigger than the rest...as Arishem is the prime celestial
@@JBurnz001 💯
@@JBurnz001 yeah, maybe they absorb the inner mass of the planet, it maybe the outer part exploding
Cuz such a giant inside the earth should have registered in the geographical data at somepoint
If Tiamut was that big already, the Earth would have no core and most of the mantle would be his body alone...
Y'all should watch another video NR did talking about whether or not the Earth should have survived Tiamut's semi-emergence. They go into detail about the exact scale of the Celestials and Tiamut in particular
They can be any size they want to be. In Thor Ragnarok movie they were the size of Thor. In eternals movie they held a whole galaxy in their hand.
New Rockstars find the things that a Movie/Series not intended to mean that, and that's Great*

I'm laughing at how random was the story of the guy put in a big jar in Thailand. Never change Achara. xD
Not Jaby seeing Arishem basically cover a side of the earth and compare his size to a skyscraper 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Those of us who know enough mythology should have picked up on the Flight of Icarus.
Yep as soon as i saw his name i knew where they are geading with him
David Kaye also voiced beast wars megatron ( totally forgot he was animated prime)
No one talked about LORD SHIVA(in NATARAJ form) in End Credit scene.
MCU's Arisham's head is can be bigger/larger/longer than an Skyscraper Empire State building/Burg Khalifa you can see the size in the Movie clip in this video by comparing to Prime Eternals Ajak/Sersi
Achara is more of a sweet and Naive and then we have Jabby the notorious guy😂
Jaby you should watch the next video about newrock star breakdown of size of celestials
@@WilliamButtlicker Yeah, but people would think he voices the movie version of Optimus Prime.
it makes you appreciate the movie more
I just noticed!
He didn't play apart in slavery but he did play a part in the bombing of hiroshima because he helped humans evolve their technology's which then led to the making of nuclear bombs that's why he was upset.
make a reaction video on "butta bomma" song and this video is amazing
The two pair of three eyes is like that cuz it was cool for Marvel to make it look that way.
New Rockstars does another breakdown of how big Tiamut actually is. His head destroyed the ozone layer...that's how big.
Arishem is 2000 feet tall.
Celestials can also change size to their will.
Jaby wearing a Jam pedals shirt. Wassup!!
bad boys season 2 not going to come ?
hiiiiiiiiii guys sending love

You can see the outline of Earth.
Arishem is bigger than the Earth 🌍
I assume some are different sizes and also have enough power to change it anyway? Like in guardians 1, we see one destroy like the surface of a planet with a power stone but then maybe arisham makes the others smaller so that he is more powerful. planets are different sizes too so that could also account for different sized celestials
Just found it funny when you said ‘Leonardo and Da Vinci’.
Idk what Jaby is eating but Arishem is definitely not the size of tall skyscraper AT ALL. Seriously why he's so confident about it 💀💀
Sometimes it feels like teachers explaining what poet meant 😂
21:26 so cute 🥺🥰🥺🥰
According to vfx supervisor of Eternals. They confirmed that Tiamut hight is 500km long from head to toe. Whereas mount Everest is only 8.8 km and empire state is 443m😂
There is a video from new rockstar on the size of tiamut
Multiverse concept is in hindu religion which is written millions of year ago
For the phastos part he is the one who helped create the bomb and for his own creation to destroy an entire city and take thousands of lives is what really got to him
Do the celestial size comparison of mcu
Celestial could surely change is size to fit on a planet , but there is a video explain that some Celestial's eyes could be as big as the Moon. So i'm not surprised that we saw only the head of this Celestial sa perspective of a human. Galactus is also super tall.
Empires estate building can't even cause earth quake LoL 😂
You guys forgot about a huge city callled knowhere in a celestial head?
Earth is 50 times bigger than the moon 😆 I think if anyone's scale is wonky it's Jaby lmao
In the guardian of the galaxy 2 they'd shown celestial size of skyscraper and ego was celestial too but in human form 😅 so celestial size can be anything
No jaby Arishem is too big for Earth but the thing in Comics were their were normal size
