This camper sits on a 1962 Chevy C20 truck that I did a CUMMINS SWAP on! I documented the entire process on my channel so be sure to check it out, especially this video where I removed the Dodge BODY off the frame of a first gen Cummins to use with the old body of the Chevy: ruclips.net/video/bBitfW20rNc/видео.html
What a terrific camper
Thanks! It's been a lot of fun to use too!
I love the louvered windows on that camper! Looks spectacular on that truck.
Thanks! They're definitely time period correct for the vehicle!
Love the accent colors! Really looking Awesome!
It really turned out great! The green works well with the color of the truck!
Looks awesome!!
So much fun to watch you and Emily with this project. Excellent work you two. It really looks amazing. SO much fun when you get to the part when the appliances are going back in 😀. It’s -8 degrees F here right now so if I can’t work on mine I’m watching you work on yours lol. Fantastic job Jake and Emily!
Thank you so much for the encouragement. -8 does not sound like a fun temperature to work in!
Amazing 😁👍👍
Glad you like it!
Consider mounting and wiring up a solar panel to the roof
I may look into that if I start boondocking some. Right now I still only camp where I have electric and water hookups. Who knows where I may explore to in the future though!
That red square body is in great shape. Looks rust free!.. is it a southern truck?
It's got some rust on the underside and some minor rocker panel rust but it's not too bad. It is a southern truck, bought it near Asheville NC
@@StateFun awesome. great camper build btw. The vintage era is nice to see.
Looks great, where did you get the long flat clamp you used with the tiles
@@elizabethcomstock1699 I got it from Harbor Freight. It's designed to be used as a circular saw guide bar, but it works well for cutting those stick on tiles too!

Measure twice, cut once... I just realized where I've been making my mistakes, I had the proverb backwards. Mrs Emily did a great job with the contact paper. The stuff looks really good when done correctly, but in my experience it's super frustrating. You guys will be ready for a cross country trip in no time.
Cross country trip sounds great!
