- Here's my first close up view of the cyber truck. Apologies for not getting a better view, but it's difficult to video in a crowded venue! People sure are curious about the truck!

We have seen a few Cyber Trucks around the Salt Lake Valley… Outside of being the strangest looking vehicle. Somewhere in looks to Back to the Future Dolarean and a dumpster, I am just not that impressed! They do get attention though. But so does the circus when it rolls into town! If I were in the market for an electric truck, I would choose Fords F 150 Lightning Pro, or the Rivian. Where I come from, a truck is a work vehicle. It’s meant to haul things and pull trailers. The Cyber Trucks windshield has to be the biggest determinant… The size and slope…. Whatever you do, DON’T sneeze while driving this truck! You’ll never be able to clean it…. Unless there is an interior wiper to match the one on the outside! As the electric cars become more popular, and some are very attractive, I won’t be buying one any time soon. It’s not political… I am just old-school enough that I do enjoy a nice rumble coming from the vehicles exhaust system! Maybe someday, they will develop an app for that! LOL! Silence is not golden when it comes to EVs! Thanks, Jack!! :D :D
Hey, Karyn! This truck seems to me much more an attention getter than a fulfiller of the purpose of a truck. People will buy it and test it in their own application. I don't intend to buy any vehicle other than the ones I have now. If I decided to venture into electrified vehicles, it would be a hybrid, which automatically does away with range anxiety. Infrastructure is certainly problematic and it's energy intensive making huge batteries besides the reduced tire wear because of the huge weights involved. How many cyber trucks sell will be the ultimate test. Thanks! :) Jack
Can't say I'd buy one. I think they were rushed to market without forethought. Cost unknown and more problems. Anyway, thanks for the video.

I was wondering when you make a video of these...really awkward trucks. One thing I have to say is the body is all metal, which we have never seen happened again since the 1980s. But that construction is cheap.
And also the edges are reportedly prone to making cuts on the fingers of the unwary who run their fingers down those edges! Makes you admire padded vinyl all the more! :D Thanks! :D Jack

It sure looks to be very poorly designed for a truck. More like a weird car with a big trunk.
Agreed! I think there was "shock value" deliberately designed into it. The goal seemed to make it look different from any other truck. Such a goal neglects the fact that current trucks had a design that has evolved over the decades and is eminently useful. Cyber truck can only hope to have such usefulness! Thanks! :) Jack

Aieeee! My eyes! Seen many reviews. Not a fan. Silly idea, silly shape, silly making it out of kitchen sink metal, silly not having the wheels mechanically fastened to the steering wheel, and... its a fad. It's not a tough resilient go anywhere truck. It's today's news but tomorrow's has-been.
