I have friend who tell me that sleep Paralysis ain't real. Let me tell you from my experience that is the most absolute terrifying thing to go through. I feel his pain, the only way I came out of it was when my mom came in to check on me and saw that I looked "weird" so when she started shaking me to wake up, I guess my body took that as a sign to snap out of it's trance. And I was freed from my sleep paralysis. Then I proceeded to cry like a baby in her arms.
I remember my first ever sleep paralysis which I think I was 6-7?? I was sleeping with my mom that night and I felt a hand around my ankles slowly pulling me off the bed. It felt transparent couldn't see it and couldn't move. I was so scared, yelling, screaming nothing. I SOMEHOW managed to touch my mom's hand just from the tip of my finger....Then it stopped I could move again.
I probably had it the first time as a young adult, and it was pretty spooky, ngl. When it happened a second time I said enough's enough and then went to look up some corrective measures. Now I just do the thing where you focus on wiggling ur toes and it works like a charm. Even if it takes a while to work, the focus of doing it distracts me from manifesting any potential demons.

This reminded me of whenever I have dreams, because half the time I know it's a dream, but by nature I always imagine dreams as nightmares, so it could be a really happy dream, but then I realise that it's a dream and then start thinking myself about a bunch if scary things that ate supposed to happen and then they appear in the dream. So I might be lucid dreaming but in a bad way. This is why I don't want control of my dreams, because I always make them scarier.
do you do psychedelics? it helps accepting things you can't control at least.. bad trip can be like sleep paralysis in sense that you can't stop it. usually you're still controlling the body but that won't help since there's nothing to fight and no place to run. until you accept that it's just an altered mind state and one needs to only exist while it shows what it wants to show
So I actually had sleep paralysis a couple nights ago but I’ve been getting it a lot recently so I was surprised, then I was like “I never see any demons or monsters in my sleep paralysis idk why? I should try to imagine them so I can see how it feels” and I tried to think of a demon staring at me but it didn’t work tbh I was kinda disappointed cause I wanted to see one but I’m glad I didn’t because me not being able to move in itself is scary
I feel like the reason you were able to see the entire room even tho you had your eyes closed and had no eyes on the back of your head was just your brain recreating the room from memory
IF you have a great memory since I can't recreate my whole room out of memory my brain still sucks.... Wait... What will happend if our brain can't recreate the whole room out of memory will we just be floating in empty space?
Sorry but is that not really obvious?Like unless you think that during sleep paralysis he gained 360° vision via magic of course his brain is recreating the image of his room. That's what dreams are in general. Not trying to be rude just checking to see if I'm not getting something.
I swear I have a sleep paralysis demon who has been haunting me since I was 13. Idk sometimes I wake up and there's a hand pressing down on my neck or tapping my ribcage but I'm completely paralysed.
I had sleep paralysis once, it was a very similar experience of a shadowy figure in the corner. Unfortunately, I didn't have the benefit of knowing about sleep paralysis, so I thought someone had actually broken into my apartment. It was maximum paranoia!.... As soon as I was able to move again I frantically checked all the locks on my door and windows. It wasn't until I looked it up online and realized it must've been sleep paralysis that I was able to calm down a bit.
In high school I got really into lucid dreaming and I wanted to try. Online, I found that one of the steps was to induce sleep paralysis. So I tried. TL:DR I had sleep paralysis into lucid dream which was interrupted by my pets. So, when I sleep, I sleep with the blanket covering my head, leaving only my nose out. But when I woke up, I was sleeping arms and legs spread wide with one leg under the blanket and a leg dangling over the bed. I had one eye half open and could see the roof, but in my mind's eye, I could see the entire room. It was extremely strange to be able to see and not see at the same time... I don't know how to describe it. It was as if my eyes were open and looking at something that I knew was there (The roof) but my brain was processing something completely different (The entire room). I just thought, "Wow this is weird." and then realized, I couldn't fucking move. Me, starting to freak out, realizes that there is a fucking shadow arm thing poking out from under the bed reaching up towards my leg that is dangling. I start internally screaming. This shadow thing slowly crawls out from under the bed, and I see a hand, arm, shoulder, other hand, arm, head. Except.... It was doing the crawling thing where the stomach was pointing up and it's head was looking up. The hands like folded behind it and moving it. It was so fucking freaky. When the entire thing came out and stood up, it's head did a 360 and stared right at my sleeping face and I ended up like "passing out" like my brain gave up. Then, my brain was back and I was in my room again. Except, I realized that the monster thing was gone. I still couldn't move, but even though I was freaking out a little the monster didn't come. So I slowly started to calm down and just tried to "fall back asleep" kind of thing. I listen to ASMR to sleep, like Japanese ear cleaning stuff, so I was imagining me using a cute girl's lap as a pillow and she was brushing my hair. Then, I start tripping the fuck out. I see bright lights, but it wasn't bright. I don't know how to describe it. It's like you see white, but it doesn't glow? And then I start dreaming. I was flying above a city and I realized I could move around. I fly to the ground and look at the people I had imagined They were all frozen, and I saw a girl (Short hair bob cut, short and cute. I don't know why I was able to imagine the figure of the girl so vividly but not the face) who I can't remember the face off but for some reason I felt it looked familiar. I got closer to the girl to get a look, then all of a sudden the surroundings disappeared and the girl started moving. The face is still blurry and her voice was also mumbled and incomprehensible, but I was moving against my will kind of. She sat down and I laid on her lap and she started brushing my hair. This goes on for what felt like years in my dream. During it she would touch my face and tickle my ears which I could feel but not feel. I don't know how to describe it. Because it was all my imagination, so I'm guessing it didn't feel right because I never had this experience so my brain was trying to imagine and fill in the gaps. I think what I felt was what I thought it would feel like. Slowly, the bland white background starts turning into a shade of pink, then red. During this, the girl is still in my vision, and I can see horns growing out of her head. Her skin turns into a shade of purple, and her face which was still blurry, I could tell that her lips were turning black, even though I couldn't make out anything else. My brain suddenly registers what the hell I am looking at, a succubus, right when I see the heart shaped tail come into view from her other side. Her face, still blurry, shows a smile that I can't even see but my brain is somehow able to comprehend. I felt something poke my head as she brushes my hair and I realize she has long fucking nails. (Mind you, I'm imagining all these feelings, I pretty much imagined the edge of a knife touching my head.) All of a sudden, she stands up, and carries my unmovable body. She walks for what felt like years. For some reason, it was just as long as when she was normal and giving me a nice relaxing head message. As she was walking, the sky starts tripping the fuck out. It goes from red to green to yellow to blue to purple to black to white to orange. Not rainbow, but it felt random. Then, she carries me to a bed where she lays me down on. She starts touching my legs then sits on me. She grabs a pillow then starts suffocating me. Then, as I pass out in my dream, I wake up. I woke up to my dog on my face and my cat on my stomach.
The demon woke you up in your spirit and when you passed out and than woke up again and went back to sleep it took a different approach and went into your dream to mess with you
I have sleep paralysis every few days but once I woke up saying "may the power of Christ compel you" and I was sleeping next to my boyfriend so he was like tf
how to turn sleep paralysis into a lucid dream step 1: relax, remember everything is in your head. step 2: imagine somewhere you want the lucid dream to happen. step 3: imagine yourself standing in the place you imagined before. now you will slowly teleport to the lucid dream. (i think)
I saw a Pinterest post of brothers. One was on the top bunk sayin “AHHHHH MoM there is a monster under my bed!!! To which the brother on the bottom bunk replied “Why do you hate me brother?” Just wanted to point out the similarities.
I know how to escape sleep paralysis. Try to notice when you inhale and exhale. Once you get that, focus on exhaling more. Next once you exhale try humming. If it works, you wake up. If not, the ritual will start and you will be sacrificed... Bye
My sleep paralysis "demon" or whatever was just a guy reading a script for a movie except the script perfectly predicted and explained his entire life, and then he realized he didn't actually ever exist and that his entire life was created by me dreaming, and then I "woke up". I'm not even sure if that counts as sleep paralysis but it was meta as hell
Daidus personally in my experience with sleep paralysis i couldnt see my monster but i could feel it, also seeing with your eyes closed feels so uncomfortable
As long as you stay calm and think happy thoughts you should be good close your eyes if possible and imagine somewhere you want to be if you keep doing this you'll eventually have the best dream of your entire life
other people's sleep paralysis demon: tall demon with horns my sleep paralysis demon: B E E (actually my sleep paralysis demon is a massive fricking bee, it's alot scarier than it sounds)
I have never related with someone on a personal level like this before. When I was 9 I had a T shaped bunk bed. And I once "woke up" without being able to move, all the while, at the foot of my bed, was a bee half the size of my bed staring me down. I could do nothing but watch as my mind imagined its buzzing wings and giant lifeless eyes staring at me, as its most began to prod my blanket. When I had suddenly got control of my body I threw my blanket over it and watched as my blanket didn't fall flat, but seemed to cover something in the same size of that bee. I rushed and hit the blanket, and saw it finally fell flat on my bed. Freaky shit it honestly is.
How to legitimately get rid of sleep paralysis demons: 1. Don't imagine them. 2. Since your imagination brought it into existence, imagine something to fight it. Or, better yet, since sleep paralysis demons are just manifestations of your mind, tell yourself repeatedly, and BELIEVE it, "I can't feel pain." That should work.
My sleep paralysis story for anyone reading: I was at my grandparents house where me and my brother were sleeping in the spare room in the back. It was a pretty small room with an antique feel, and I was never quite comfortable there in the first place. I was sleeping across from my brother one night when I randomly woke up to look over at his side. With him sleeping there, facing away from me, there sitting on his bed was this... thing... It was a horrible, dead, clammy grey with thin, veiny skin. It’s head was nearly indistinguishable from its body and was bald and smooth. It’s face was made of three holes- two stretched, gaping, black holes where the skin caved in for eyes, and a similar pit for its mouth, held in place by a loose, low-hanging jaw. It had teeth that were long and thin, several inches and still very sharp. In spite of that chilling description, the thing I remember most was what it wore. It was wearing a thin, dirty, and very worn red sweater, and nothing else; the sweater looked like one that Mr. Rogers might wear, and it was caked with filth. That being said, I stared at the thing in pure terror for about 3 seconds, completely unable to move, until I forced a scream out with all my might and suddenly regained control over my body. The thing flew at my face with incredible speed and vanished instantly when I flipped on the lamp. I was about 10 years old then and couldn’t sleep that night. To this day, I’m still somewhat afraid of the dark and can have trouble sleeping.
I had my first sleep paralysis last night about 5am , for the first few seconds of not being able to move i noticed my eyes were closed but i can still see my room, as I was laying on my bed I felt a very strong presence I don't know how to describe it but if you watch the anime bleach, it felt similar to when someone was around a very strong spiritual pressure, anyway after a few seconds of feeling that intense sensation I noticed a creature, almost like the same one as you described in your story, it was balled with a greenish brown color and black eyes and short on 4 legs I noticed it for about a second in my closet then it jumped/lunged at me. I sat up instantly, heart racing, palms hella sweaty. I immediately started thinking about how weird that sensation felt and how scary that thing looked! it just happened last night I remember it all vividly
I had sleep paralysis while taking a nap next to my sleeping dog. She was dreaming and kicked me in the chest over and over, I could not move so I just took the pain. Every kick I thought she was gonna kill me.
I had a sleep paralysis there was a bloody bunny with a bloody bat standing right next to me and after that I had a nightmare when the bunny is hunting me down in the woods idk where These came from I think there was a Easter egg in a game where a pink bunny plushie looks at you has blood in mouth and kills you

Big brain
i can recreate the entire hall outside my room from memory
I can recreate my entire house from memory

The description of the noise he made when he woke up was SO RELATABLE YOU DONT EVEN KNOW

(Mind you, I'm imagining all these feelings, I pretty much imagined the edge of a knife touching my head.)
All of a sudden, she stands up, and carries my unmovable body.
I woke up to my dog on my face and my cat on my stomach.
the ending took me OUT
The demon woke you up in your spirit and when you passed out and than woke up again and went back to sleep it took a different approach and went into your dream to mess with you

how to turn sleep paralysis into a lucid dream
step 1: relax, remember everything is in your head.
step 2: imagine somewhere you want the lucid dream to happen.
step 3: imagine yourself standing in the place you imagined before.

My sleep paralysis story for anyone reading:
I was at my grandparents house where me and my brother were sleeping in the spare room in the back.
To this day, I’m still somewhat afraid of the dark and can have trouble sleeping.
that just felt like reading a story, nice
