Still, the game looks quite good. Disappointed i couldn't get a beta key even after applying for one.
I'm really hoping for a Switch port of Jade, even if i don't think it will ever happen, that could be the reason i'm buying the console.

Honestly a small DLC's worth of playing Kassandra fighting Romans is something I've wanted for a while now, at least this scratches the itch a little bit.

I loved Odyssey and I'd love this too. It looks really good for a mobile game. Probably one of the best looking games on mobile.

Unfortunately this game is missed potential.. it could have been a great tripple A title straight after AC Red. Would love to explore Asia in Next Gen graphics etc..
There's still opportunity considering China is not only a massive country, but also has a massive history as well.

@@hey-gv4wo S22 Ultra, it gets hot after a while and eats battery if I'm somewhere in tropical temp.
I assume they'll change a couple of performance settings for the full release, but honestly it plays well.
Hope they have controller support (Haven't tested connecting one yet and no joystick customization in settings so idk)

Game looks pretty good, I wonder how long the story will take to complete and how big the world is going to be?
We currently don't know, the story within the beta is not complete, it's just the first chunk of the main story which is going to be available when the game releases, so probably the same goes with the map - there are three big regions in the beta but there might be more in the final release)

Kassandra survived to the mordern day so was alive throughout all of the events in the other games. It will be awesome if they explore what all she was up to during Ezios life or if she was somehow involved in the shadows.
That's exactly what they are doing here! I hope they won't do this with *every* game though, it might feel repetitive on the long run...

@@AccessAnimus yeah I did notice a lot frame rate issues with the footage but it is only beta so more work is yet to be done to it before final release

The UI is horribly cluttered. This is the same game studio that criticized Elden Ring's UI for being too simplistic and minimalist.
The studio didn't criticize anyone. One dev did along with the Gurellia Games game dev.
I'm pretty sure you can customize the size and location of the buttons like every other modern mobile game

This seems a byproduct of the mobile game and its target audience, I'd hope.
My guess is they used a more stylised aesthetic because of lower specs on mobiles.
Well at least Red will be the last AC game using the Origins-Valhalla system it’s getting a revamp in Hexe going forward

@@WideOldDan the walking slow as a turtle or sprint only controls with no normal walking controls. I love lord of the rings games but i couldn’t play shadow of mordor and shadow of war because it just takes me out of the game trying to explore the world but i love the new assassins creed games all except i wish there was a jump button and more stealth like original games. Also i love re4 but leon walks like he got a turtle in his ass and it’s either walk like that or sprint and i just hate those controls.
@@briankinney3140 in the classic ACs there's walk, run and sprint. From AC2 to Rev, there's fast walk.

Using touch is a learning curve, but it's a learning curve to something horrible.

I mean yeah something I've kinda had an issue with. They essentially ditched the whole gameplay and overall identity for mass appeal.., I have some hope for Mirage but over all these games really aren't for me anymore.
@mott1505 But that's kinda my point, why make and "assassins creed game", without actual assassins. For me it's really just the lack of consistency, tone. What was the point of origins if you're just gonna keep going back in time re-establishing when things started. To be fair though the canon being re-written has being going on since even AC2 but.., my biggest thing is what made the old games was the gameplay, themes, etc. And instead of building on it Ubisoft does this thing to were if they can't essentially copy and past then they just throw everything out. Watch_Dogs has had that same issue. If you don't like the old games then you didn't like assassins creed. And that's fine.. But I don't really see them as the same thing. It has the name and mask but isn't at core. If I didn't like say " Dark Souls because of main themeing and gameplay and wish it were just an open-world, easy, "witcher-3" type game.. Then I wouldn't like Dark souls." That's just kinda what I mean.. Apologies for the essay
@@topdown13 My guy you're playing as one of the first assassin's and his dicple in this game .They both didn't use a hidden blade and they both weren't part of the Creed. Yet they were mohist warriors and their were regard them as predocere from the assassin's.
