I've liked your videos ever since I discovered your channel, but so far I think this is my favorite one. It was like opening a door for me, and perfectly timed because I'm gearing up for a compositing + color grading gig (going through the conform now) where I think this could be extremely useful :) Thank you for sharing!

thanks for this tutorial can you tell us which steps to begging with and which to finish with because all that I find on youtube is separate steps without logic to link them seconde thing is that I find shot matching very painful and almost impossible and even don t know if I put it on a single node or build it on separate nodes during primery corrections and thank you again
you are using high end video clips, go out on your own and use your own camera settings and them come come back and show us how to Color Grading....almost all you guys that do Color Grading tutorial are using the same clips from cameras like RED CINEMA Color gamut.....a $49,995.00 camera.
high end camera clips helps her to explain! I use sony a7iv and this was still helpful! If you don't know what to do with the knowledge it is definitely not the cameras fault
Did you even watch the video? The first clip was shot with a BM pocket cine, a $2500 camera. The secon footage was Sony log (if i heard it correctly) footage, so probably a typical hybrid prosumer for around 1-2k. The only high end footage was the last one from ARRI. That's a good range of prices covered for a relatively short video.
Girl, your introduction was more useful then 95% of the content out there put together

This is madness in a humble way of explaining and techniques of the curves. THANK YOU FROM PHILLIPPINES.
Thanks! Especially for how to make the main curve unaffected by adding another point, because I was previously depressed for messing up the curves
A good tip, right? 😊 I hope you’ll enroll my course as well: colorgradinginsights.thinkific.com/courses/masteringcolorgrading

Thanks keisha. Is split toning applied (mostly) in filmic look? While commercial look doesnt use split tone cause you want natural colour?
Hey! Thanks for the comment, it all depends on the creative outcome you want to achieve, every project is different!

this is very useful. What is the difference between using the curves and the log wheels?
I would say it’s all about personal preferences! In DaVinci Resolve there’s always a few different ways of achieving the same result!

Much better to use high end footage than low end
is a 5000 dollar camera low end???? no one on you tube is filming with a 50 thousand dollars camera @@m1nt9reen
