i love how the wife is all upset about being married in a hurricane but the husband is all happy, calling it such a joyous day. Absolutely wholesome. He's just happy to be with her, hurricane be damned.
he said that to make her happy you see he’s trying to cheer her up while singing since she gets annoyed when bruno gets mentioned
Pepa is the wife and the husband is felix 😃
@@PCHER_Roblox thank you :D
They were both upset (Felix first words in the scene were something like "It was a disaster!") but when they actually reminisce about the day they both look at each other knowing that it was a joyous day. The way Pepa said "Married in a Hurricane" while smiling and Felix feeling the same way then adds on "What a Joyous Day, but anyway"
@@jcmaxxio4139 no problem :)
Dolores has the most expressive eyes. Isabella's mouth is expressive. Camilo has the most expressive face also
its Isabela, one L
Dolores is the eyes, Isabella's the mouth, Camilo's the body, mirabella exists, pepa and felix are probably wet, forgot who else exists in this movie
As we Colombians are
@@deeeeniiiiss Isabela* Mirabel*
What about Mirabel
I've said it before, and I'll say it again! The shapeshifter, Camilo, shifts into Bruno and catches Mirabel when she falls. The first interaction Mirabel has with the real Bruno, later in the movie, is when he catches her when she falls! Being there for Mirabel is a massive part of his character, and it's incredibly sweet.
Wow, I've seen the movie like 10 times and I never caught that. It's a nice little bit of foreshadowing. Or maybe looking like Bruno let Camilo make his own unintended prophecy lol
It's a beautiful film; full of magical realism common in Colombian culture. The butterflies are another important symbol in Colombian culture. I promise you will smile, laugh, and cry.
Плакать он вряд ли будет
100%Gabriel García Marquez
Colombia is first in the world in diversity of butterflies
Fun fact: if you zoom in behind Dolores when she sings you can spot Bruno creeping behind them and then again on the second floor. You can even see his glowing eyes if you look closely enough
I actually thinks that’s Camilo. Bruno’s eyes only glow when he is using his gift. And he says later on he wasn’t doing visions anymore. But we see Camilo’s eyes are always that color when he shapeshifts into Bruno. Plus, his part directly follows this.
yaya I noticed that, that's so cool
Delores quickly spun Mirabel away because she would have heard him come out from the painting.
There was no way Delores couldn't hear Bruno in that house with her super hearing.
4:08
Bruno in the backstage:
"I know my own family is going to trashtalk me and the only niece who doesn't know me will have a desastrous idea of my personnality but damn, this song is groovy!"
Notice how Dolores shifts Mirabel around? She doesn't want her to see Bruno
That’s actually Camilo. Bruno appears in the background of the same shot, but on the *first* floor.
Finally someone catches that. The real Bruno is on the first floor on his way to the kitchen and Camilo's Bruno is on the second with glowing eyes viking to the song until he joins in
@@navimcfarland9113 Where's the "true" Bruno on the first floor? (time and position)? I don't see it.
I only see Bruno 2 time on the second floor (he pass, and 5 seconds after he's in the same position shaking his head)
At 3:15 when Dolores is saying "I can always hear him" you can see a dark green silhouette with his hood up walking to the kitchen
If it hasn't been commented about Mirabel's voice, I myself was shocked to find out it was the same actress who plays Rosa on Brooklyn 99.
Also, Encanto is definitely one of those movies everyone should watch.
Right! It just shows how much of an incredible actress she is 😍
What??????? That's so freaking cool!
And she's Gloria's sister on Modern Family!!
It's an incredible family movie. An unusual Disney movie that is absolutely gorgeous. You and the family would love it.
Definitely recommend watching the movie. You’ll get more context that way. It’s such a nice movie too
Definitely watch the movie. The songs were written by Lin Manuel Miranda, the same guy who wrote the songs in Moana and Hamilton. Angelina Jordan turns 16 on Monday, anything special planned for her birthday?
And In The Heights! This soundtrack had LMM written all over it, I recognized he was part of the soundtrack instantly. He has a way with overlapping verses and harmonies that’s just so pleasant to listen to.
@@crystalclear675 Can't believe I forgot In The Heights, such a good movie that didn't get the attention it deserved.
He's also the composer for the live remake of the little mermaid
@@jackwhitbread4583 I just found that out! I was so excited to hear that. The music is going to be amazing and with Halle’s vocals, 2023 can’t come soon enough.
Definitely check out the movie. It’s so so good.
One thing that you’ll notice is that as the song progresses, the stories they tell become less real and more stories that the family has made up over time, directly tied to how close in age and relationship Bruno was to them.
First verse is Bruno’s sister and brother in law (Pepa and Felix), next is one of his older nieces (Dolores is 21), then a younger nephew (Camilo is 15, same as Maribel), etc.
Shows the impact that a negative opinion of a family member over time can warp to stories and lies.
World class story telling in this song. 💯
Love how Dolores keeps mentioning that she hears Bruno, meaning she kinda knew he was still living in the house.
U are one of the best reactors I ever watch, u stop when u are commenting, u comes back a little for not losing, pay attention in everything, it's a fantastic work
Thank you so much 🙏🏻❤️
@@KingFamilyReacts can you react to What Else Can I Do? Please? You’ll love it
Omg I know!!!!!!! Im glad you aren't one of those super annoying reactors that pause a million times and never go back
I love how when he commentates he goes back and people don’t usually do that I just find that kind and thoughtful
LUV that you caught & commented on the husband's crooning to his wife, "I'm sorry Mi Vida, go on..." First & only one so far I've seen who has. It's one of my favorite parts. I love her husband's character in the movie.
I love Dolores in this because she mostly whispers her parts which plays into the fact she has super hearing. Whispering would sound like normal talking to her so she's probably conditioned herself over the years to talk quietly.
I also like the way sounds that are normally in the background are brought forward in her section, such as air movement when she moves her head and her footsteps.
Lin Manual Miranda's song-writing will never not amaze me, this song is an abolsute BOP!!
Great reaction!!
Gran película ,grandes canciones un homenaje hermoso para Colombia 🇨🇴
Dolores who did the middle part in the beginning of the song is awesome💕
Fun fact, the part of the song where everyone is singing their verses on top of eachother is called a Madrigal, which is the name of the family. I like to think it was meant to show they are best when they work together in harmony.
You have to do Surface Pressure too!! Its so good!
Check back in an hour :)
Fun Fact: The voice actor for Bruno is the same one that voiced Sid the Sloth from Ice Age!!
As much as I want to comment about how much I love Mirabel’s voice when she comes in, I feel the same about the other singers as well! Especially when the shapeshifter comes in…But they are all just incredible! Love the layers of melodies at the end! So much rhythm! The song is a masterpiece!
I love how, just like Mirabel, you can't help but dance : )
The movie is 100% worth watching and great for you guys to watch together as a family. My family had a blast when we watched it together when it came out on Disney+ on Christmas Eve.
i literally love bruno with my whole heart. He’s a good person
Thank you for reacting to a movie inspired by my country!
Greetings from Colombia 😃 🇨🇴
You have to watch this movie! We watched it with our youngest granddaughters, ages 9, 9 and 11, and loved it! Later on the 3 of them put on a “show” for us, singing the Bruno song-they did great! You will love it!
You definitely NEED to watch this!!! It’s INCREDIBLE!!!
The thing keep noticing is that when mirabel is finishing the puzzle and everyone is circli g her u can see the beginning of Louisas breakdown after her strength starts to fade...like she's singing but she's listless because she's already given into the loss and is succumbing to the pressure
Awesome reaction dude I like how you would go back after pausing to not miss a single thing. I recommend reacting to “Surface pressure” it’s also a song in the movie and it’s just amazing as well
If you see in the background of Delores part when she's with Mirabel, you can see Bruno upstairs walking around!
Someone already said that. Sorry.
If you look back at Dolores' verse, you can notice Bruno in the background ardently bopping along.
I just love the idea of Bruno being like, "Ok I'm being slandered but this song goes HARD!"
Lin ManuelMiranda being the lyricist/writer of many of the films songs is part of it,
Poor Bruno just tells the future... He doesn't decide what happens
Yayyy!! So happy you reacted to this. Love you Dad!!! ❤️😍
I love you too baby girl!!!
I know that Luisa being overwhelmed and nervous is sad and a serious problem, but for some reason her little tired shuffle in the family dance near the end of this song always makes me chuckle.
This is the catchiest Disney song ever, 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 for Lin Miranda
I'd recommend reacting to the first song as well. It's called "The Family Madrigal" and tells everyone's powers. And this song's main theme appears there first, when Mirabel introduces her family. The main concept is that thanks to a miracle everyone in the family received a Gift, a unique power. Bruno's is seeing into the future, Camilo can shapeshift, etc.
This film is so beautiful made and it's definitley differente than all the other Disney movies, I loved it.
bruno in the backround just vibing 3:18
The power of observation.
It's great how much you were able to pick up on without watching the movie.
This song is too good! You're gonna love the movie♥️
His look of astonishment at 5:04 is just 😂😂😂
This might be the best song in the movie, but it doesn't make much sense to people who haven't seen it. It comes out halfway through the movie and there's just too much going on and too many characters that you need to have some backstory to understand it. That's why I prefer that people react to Surface Pressure. It is an awesome song and anyone can understand it without knowing anything about the movie.
the good thing about this is, not only is the song addicting, but it also makes you curious about the plot and you end up wanting to watch the movie
@@thelordnaevis4946 Exactly how I ended up watching the movie myself
Watch the movie, man. You'll love it! All of the songs are great, but I gotta say that this one is my favorite by far!
This story is about the Madrigals, a magical family from Colombia. Bruno is the black sheep of the family, and I'll leave it at that 'cause saying anything more will ruin your experience.
Watch it with your family and enjoy =D
I love this song so much! I loved how you slowly started dancing to the song as well. It is a song that will definitely stay with you for a while! Great rhythm, great singers and great choreography! New Subscriber here! Btw I hope you saw the movie already!
En las familias latinas, siempre hay un "Bruno" del que no se habla
No es solo una hermosa y pegadiza canción, sino que nos identifica en nuestras relaciones familiares
Saludos
Looks like Brock Lesnar, moves like Marc Antony. Freakin’ epic! 🙏🏽💪🏽
I like how people that watch this song out of context actually agree that Mirabel shouldn’t have brought up Bruno 😂
You should react to more songs! There's Surface Pressure, What Else Can I Do, Family Madrigal and Waiting On A Miracle are some examples, they're all really good! Loved the video
And Two oruguitas the Oscars nominee
Definitely recommend watching it
It makes more sense
We don't talk about Bruno is the Non-Stop of Encanto XD
this movie is so good i also recommend
Felix is a smooth customer...look at how he makes Pepa melt.
I can't believe you reacted to this!!!!! I've had this song stuck in my head since it came out!!!! Ugh it's just a masterpiece!!! And Lin Manuel Miranda wrote all of these songs!!!!
Hi! The family is called Madrigal. A madrigal is actually a term used for the pieces where the whole cast is singing their own lines together. Oh yeah, this movie is absolutely amazing!
It's so funny how Bruno is just creeping in the background during Dolores part 😂😂😂
Must be jamming to the music
Camilo’s “Isabela your boyfriend’s here” is my favorite part of the WHOLE song tbh its just so funny
You hit the nail in the head, the prophesy was a two way street she would destroy or she would build her family.
Bruno didn’t cause these prophesies to happen. He knew the future and simply told people
Surface pressure is the best song from Encanto in my personal opinion. But I love this one too
One thing I noticed at the end when she's putting the prophecy together is that Isabella stops singing her lyrics and just keeps saying she's fine. Something I know from personal experience means you really really are not fine.
Hearing this song on RUclips is WHY I finally decided I should give this movie a chance. Definitely watch!
Liked how your reaction became more genuine as you got more interested in the video! This has got to be the 3rd reactor I see today that goes in blind for the #1 trending and comes out wanting to watch the movie :D Please do if you're interested, amazing writing and animation and the songs are all fire - I'd watch your reaction
Something I just realized. Bruno "appears" in the first three stories. First as part of Pepa's flashback, then in the background when Delores sings and finally Camilo shape changes into him. The only relative he doesn't appear for is Isabela.
Felix. Let's talk about Felix. He is so sweet, he loves Pepa so much! He just wants to support her, even after she got mad at him for telling the story, he still continued, being her cheerleader. I noticed Pepa says My Wedding day, and Felix says Our Wedding day.
And when he says "what a joyous day" the rain clears up for a second
Two words: three?? 😂 Lin Manuel-Miranda. Wrote the music. Ultimate musical genius
4:11 That young boy can shapeshift - that's why he keeps changing into different people.
The green tile is one of Brunos prophecies. Everyone blames him for negative prophecies but its not his fault
SOOO GOOOOOD
Lin-Manuel Miranda is a phenomenal song writer and producer. It’s much better that it’s fiction rather than twisted history
You should totally see the moviee, the whole soundtrack and plot of the story is incredible, I would fs love to see that. :))
All of you is another great song from this movie
From all the reaction videos of "WDTAB" song, you're definitely on my top list 🔥 your reaction is on point heheh... this channel earned a new subscriber xx
Bruno is in the back round in dolouils bit
Without giving too many spoilers bruno is her uncle his power is to see into the future he is considered the black sheep in the family like a bad omen because of his powers he is very kind, slightly nervous and eccentric he loves his family very much he looks like his father that passed away when he and his sisters were born
Honestly I didn’t plan to see the movie when I saw the trailer , I watched Camillo clip from “we don’t talk about Bruno” on Tiktok. So I watched The movie! I love it
I love this movie a lot my daughter loves it too. This song is my favorite and then Surface Pressure. We don’t talk about Bruno actually passed Let it go from Frozen thank god lol. Camilo and Dolores are my favorite parts in this song. Camilo where he shape shifts into “Bruno” and then Dolores part with the little quiet rap.
when dolores is singing you can see bruno on the balcony in the back
Bro go watch this in Disney plus!! 30 year old dude here in love with this film! Haha- you guys will enjoy it too! 😅
I REALLY LIKE that you rewind the video so that you don't miss anything.
Love your sense of latin rhythm Bro
Bruno doesn't speak things into being. He just sees the future and everybody blamed him for any bad news.
In we dont talk about bruno isabela sang "im fine" repeated while not looking fine at all
In defense of Abuela…. Rewatch it at look at it from her point of view. She don’t know what others are going thru and push for the best even though it to much pressure on her grandchildren. She strives for the best for the community. She put them FIRST over the family but is that wrong for a Ruler to care about the people of the community first. Imagine being the matriarch of a family AND community. She treated maribel bad but she was trying to keep the magic/gift that her husband sacrificed (which she believed was the purpose and reason for the magic) alive. She would do anything to to keep the magic/hope/purpose/sacrifice alive for the fam and community. She wants/will fight anyone to keep Pedro name/sacrifice alive to keep the Gifts/candle. Miabel didn’t get a gift and she thought that would be the downfall of the happy community/life they built from trama. She thought the candle was his incarceration/omen for peace over the community. They were forced to leave their homes and was given a safe haven to grow the community for 3 generations.
----Columbia history shows this was the thousand day war. Where ppl/families/millions were killed and forced from their homes all in the name of power and control. Imagine what she Witness--
She didn’t want to loose it the magic she was gifted after ALL THE LOSS she experienced. She pushed/strived to make a better/stronger generation for her ppl. Yes she went about the wrong way, but you don’t know your wrong UNTIL YOU GET CALLED OUT. Mirabel called her out and she revalued her actions and changed. She Showed more love and appreciation and the community followed suit and came to help them at the end because they know Abuela/Miragels have their back when it comes to community. Abuela has her faults but her ideals were misguided and she was brought back on path
As someone who also hasn't seen the movie yet and am putting pieces together (And yes, I want to watch it now too lmao), I JUST added another piece to the puzzle.
There's some big lady downstairs trying to pick up a pot of plants or something near the end. She looks sad. And then the main character looks at the glowing door, which shows an image of a woman lifting weights. So I've deduced they must have powers or something, what with the girl with flower power and the boy shape shifting. Does that person have super strength and are losing their power somehow?
idk how accurate that is. But if anyone wants to comment on how close or far I am, I will be watching the movie on Sunday so I'll check back after that. lol
Exactly right! Did you end up watching the movie?
@@sarahsmusicalselections9845 I did. Thanks. lol
I was surprised at how much I put together in my head just from this song. A few things I got wrong but I figured out MOST of the family dynamic and what was going on with the arranged marriage and Bruno being ostracized because of judgement. I didn't consider the grandmother being overbearing though, since she was barely in this video. And I did expect Bruno to be a bigger part of the movie than he was. But oh well. lol
After watching it, I've come to realize this movie is just screaming to have a sequel to explore more of the world and the family's relationship with it.
@@Axxidous yeah, it definitely needs some sort of spin off.
Two Encanto songs I suggest: What Else Can I Do? And the song Dos Aragitas(Two Caterpillars)
Reacting to this song is literally why I watched the movie asap 😂
This was a great movie with great music. Hello Disney!!!!
Trying not to give any spoilers out, but let’s just say that this song brings the phrase, “Don’t judge a book by its cover,” to mind regarding Bruno.
Columbia mi Encanto is a great song! Also in this movie.
I think that the animation is great!
Encanto was so good! I loved the movie!!
I would tell you what the green tablet thing is all about but ... we don't talk about Bruno!
This is totally latino baser movie. Was based on a family in colombia..watch it..its good
Family Madrigal: 🎶We don't talk about bruno no, no, no ,we don't talk about Bruno who is this song is for ,still are talking about not talking about Bruno 🎶
Bruno is her uncle and he can see the future
“We don’t talk about Bruno”
*makes a song about Bruno because he can see the future*
Did you know that in the part where Mirabel and Dalores are together, that Bruno is walking and dancing in the background.
